I had only just begun reading the books stored in this ancient library, and yet I am already intrigued by what I discovered. One book with the name: "Ancient Magic and Creatures". It talked of magic revolving around something called ‘Life Force’, it seemed that Life Force comes in 7 types; Dark, Light, Gray, Earth, Fire, Wind, and Water.
Gray appears to be the rarest and Earth the most common. Everybody has some form of these 7 types, and mostly it seems that they have the Earth type. I am guessing that fire creatures and fire sages have the Fire Type. River, sea, lake creatures, ice and water mages have the Water Type.
"I wonder what type of Life Force I have?" Wondering, I continued to read the book. Though life force is plentiful, very few can actually access it and many never even learn of it. Some who actually use it are Vampires who feed off of it, but they can’t use it for anything else.
One method for using it was developed by a sculptor many years ago. He could use it to bring his sculptures to life, though the technique was lost. There was also an old legend about a baron who used it for something similar, for goblins or gremlins he controlled through a gauntlet. But that was all the information it had on it. The book also talked about a few creatures that were made of pure raw life force. I believe that they are the Elementals. In the last few pages, it looked like someone drew in the margins, depicting some kind of castle or tower.
~5 hours later~
I found a book titled "Dark Magic Through The Ages", along with five other books that follow the same vein. In other words, books about Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, and Light magic.
“Dark Magic comes in many different forms and types, like your regular Curses, Dark magic, Shadow magic, and Necromancy. They are all considered different, yet similar in that they all are considered dark magic."
This was written in the introduction to Dark magic. It was rather similar in all 5 books as I looked through the books and aisles. I saw a book on a really dusty and ancient book stand. I walked over and I read the title.
Introduction to Chaos Magic
"What on earth is Chaos Magic?" I wondered as I continued to read.
Many make the mistake of thinking that Chaos only revolves around destruction, and they are wrong. Chaos has a specific order. Though it does indeedindeed break things down, it just as easily builds things up. Let’s take Fire as an example. Though fire is brought together by a great many things, it revolves primarily in the realm of Chaos, so Chaos magic can call on a form of it, called ‘Chaos Fire’, which is strong enough to melt Adamantium, one of the strongest metals in the world. It is also used by some for Smithing. Another thing about chaos magic is its rarity. One of the few creatures that use Chaos or are made of it is the Chaos Dragon, a powerful and ancient Dragon famed to be invincible in battle and being masters of magic. Luckily, they are extremely rare. There are few creatures with even an affinity with Chaos. Unlike other affinities, you have to be born with it to learn its magic, or survive being bathed in a Chaos Dragon’s flames, which is next to impossible unless you are protected by an Archmage or something of equal power.
As I continued to read through the book, I learned that some creatures with Chaos Magic can use it to create creatures to serve them, but the creatures are not sentient and do not have basic animal intelligence. If improperly created, or that you do not have an affinity with Chaos, you would explode........ Violently!
And it seems there are multiple classes using Chaos. The Chaos Knight uses Chaos Magic to create effects similar to a mage knight or holy knight, The Chaos Mage who could use all the magic of the world, from fire to earth, from dark to light. Then there is the Chaos Blacksmith who can forge anything he wished, from a blade so evil even the darkest of creatures would not use it, to a blade so stoked and tied to the light it would make paladins and angels cry at its beauty.
The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement.
And finally, there was the Chaos Master, strongest of all but the hardest to master. He could create creatures and give them life, and he has all the powers of the others. If you become one of them, you immediately become a Master in your basic skills such as Weapon Mastery. but in the case of the chaos master You also gain all the skills of the other chaos classes but instead of mastery every skill you learn it immediately becomes Intermediate. However, it takes twice the experience to level up or increase skill levels. As I finished reading this part of the book I heard a loud ding.

"What!!!" I yelled in surprise I mean sure I was wondering why I didn't have any messages so far. It would seem I had it set to ignore all messages.
“Ah well no skin off my bones. But from what I read, this class sounds crazy. I mean, come on! Mastery in skills relative to chosen class immediately granted? It must be an extremely rare class..... Wait! Could this class be for players who discovered this kingdom? I wonder if it’s for a higher level player, and instead of just offering the class it would have given them a quest to gain the affinity for Chaos. But thanks to my race choice I can go straight pass all that! Hm… well I know one thing for sure. I am not choosing the Chaos Master Class, no way!" I said, but then I heard a rather ominous DING
