Sometimes I wonder how it all started, what was that sudden urge that sent me to walking that day, the day that forever changed my life. I woke up feeling like I had to be somewhere, I couldn't remember where though so I started walking hoping to jog my memory. I walked down the dirt road leading to my house, and started out to town. I knew mom and dad wouldn't worry because this happened to all of us at this age. When each of my older siblings turned 13, they woke up and wandered off. Later I found out they had been summoned, and today was my 13th birthday, so I guess this is what a summons feels like. All I know is that I had to be somewhere, just didn't know where that somewhere was.

So I followed the dirt road down to the paved one that headed to town, then walked straight through town without ever thinking that is where I needed to be. There was a forest on the other side of town, and I wandered through that for hours never once thinking it was getting late and I needed to go home, never once wondering where I was headed. It was like something was guiding me.

At last I made it through the forest to look upon a brand new scene. It was a huge sparkling city sprawled out before me, with the wierdest creatures sitting on pillars gaurding it. They had giant wings and instead of feathers they were covered in scales. With the sun setting behind the city I walked up to the gates in awe, still staring at the fantastic beasts, were these the dragons I kept hearing about?

"Can I help you miss?" there was a boy standing by the gate talking to me, it took a second but I slowly realized he was talking to me and I turned away from the beasts above.

"What are those things, sir?"

"Those are dragons, do you have business here in Cdrake?"

"That's a dragon?! They're so beautiful! And is this really Cdrake?"

"Yes to both your questions, might I ask where your parents are?"

"I left home, felt an urge to walk and ended up here, Can I go in, I feel like I must go in."

"Ahh one of those, yes go in and you will find what you're looking for in the center of the city. It's the biggest building in the city, you cant miss it."
