Nate sees a dream, he's seen before of himself but with darker eyes.

The dream Nate looks toward him

Dream-Nate: Wake up

He jolts awake only to find himself inside another dream or was it something else?

This one always freaked him out since it's his birth or what should have been his birth. The first time he sees this dream, he was excited believing he'd see his mother in the dream who he's never met but it always goes the same way.

His father, Crisp, was using his magic and created him from nothing. This scares him despite not wanting to admit to it. The thought of being created and never knowing scares him.

The dream Nate reappears and once again repeats his earlier words

Dream-Nate: Wake up

Once more, he finds himself inside another dream. This one is new but is worst then his birth dream. This one his dad is being tortured and used by someone who seems to be named Darkness. Nate tries to help but he can't ever move. He's forced to watch this horrible dream until he hears his own voice

Dream-Nate: WAKE UP

He jolts awake with a scream, finally awake from his dreams or where they dreams? He takes deep breaths as he tries to calm himself from the horrible dreams, not realizing just how loudly he had screamed.

Alaric: Good morning big brother!! I haven't ate...I was poking you to wake up but you never woke up..I-I'm hungry..

Nate: S-Sorry. Let's get you something to eat

He get's up and heads out to the kitchen to start making some food for his baby brother

Nate: What do you want to eat?

Alaric: anything? Where's big brother..?

Nate: I believe he's still out right now. He should be home eventually

Alaric: o-oh and dad is he still in that other place?

Nate: Yeah...so it's just us for a while

Alaric: w-when would he be back well he back later tonight?

Nate: I think so? That's his usual pattern isn't it? He always comes to see us at night

Alaric: yeah...Also can I show you what I could do!!

Nate: Of course!

Alaric uses his magic to make a object that wouldn't move into his puppet and makes it move and you can see the red strings he lets the object goes and turns back to how it was.

Alaric: I can use that puppets power though it's hard to use against stronger opponents...and I can also show you this!

He shows he has more then two hands max four and goes back to two arms and hands.

Nate stares in shock for a bit before shaking his head a bit

Nate: Wow...that's really cool!

Alaric: n-not really...you and older brother are stronger then me..

Nate: That doesn't make it any less cool!

Alaric: really!!?

Nate: Of course. What you can do is just as cool as what I can do and who knows maybe in the future it'll be even more powerful than my abilities are

Nate gently rubs his head with a smile on his face before he resumes cooking. Once the food is done he places it on the table so Alaric can eat while he thought about the dreams he just had and worries about his father's safety

Alaric: you ok big brother?

He eats his food calmly and looks at his brother.

Nate looks at him and gives a fake smile

Nate: Of course I'm ok. Just had a...scary dream is all

Alaric: But that smile doesn't really tell me what's wrong big brother and it doesn't seem like you're actually happy.

Nate stares at him for a bit before ruffling his hair

Nate: Don't worry about me, little brother. I can handle my own dreams

Alaric: o-ok does your visions tell you anything?

Nate: Visions? Hehe, their just dreams Alaric not visions

Alaric: huh? Dad said you get visions of possible outcomes and some linking the past and future?

Nate: Yeah but those happen when I'm awake not asleep?

Alaric: interesting but that wouldn't be day dreaming since day dreaming is your spacing out dad says when you have a vision and trained with him a while ago he said that you had a vision on how to dodge him but then lost why though he did say you had him scared why didn't you win?

Nate: I don't know?

Alaric: interesting I also have an idea what if you shapeshift into a bunny and follow dad like could you shapeshift to a mini bunny to fit in his shirt pocket?

Nate: I can shapeshift into anything, any size

He says it proudly

Nate: But sneaking into dad's pocket will be the real challenge plus who would look after you?

Alaric: I'm a big boy, I'm fourteen!

Nate: You still need someone to make you food

Alaric: Uncle Alex can do it for me!!!

Just then Nate has a vision of Alex's golden door in the kindness kingdom and Alex being brought out of it by crisp before the new war and had him hidden and they are close friends since then.

He shakes his head a bit as the vision leaves him

Nate: I guess he could but he also might tattle and tell dad I'm going to spy on him

Alaric: how would Alex know? And no he wouldn't did you know Alex told me a secret and I never told dad he cooks blueberry cupcakes in crisps cafe when it's closed!

Nate laughs: You just want to have a taste of those cupcakes...fine, I'll ask uncle Alex if he can watch you for a few hours

He calls Alex to see if he could watch Alaric for him for a few hours tomorrow

Alex: helllooooo?

Alex says on the phone while cooking pancakes while listening to a movie coming from his living room.

Nate: Hi uncle Alex...can you watch Alaric tomorrow for me? I have something I have to do that just sprang up but I can't leave him alone or he'd starve

Alex: oh sure I'm happy you all come to Hang out and take care of you so yeah!

Nate: Great! Then I'll drop him off at your place later

Alex: Alright see you soon!

He ends the call and starts to make some more pancakes so when they arrive they could eat.

When they arrive, Nate declines the food offer and after a quick hug to Alaric rushes to catch up to his dad, shapeshifting into a tiny bunny and getting into his pocket although he's not sure why he's doing this

Crisp: Hm? Why is there buldge in my shirt pocket Meh oh well.

Nate relieved his dad didn't catch him...yet at least and squirms lightly to get into a more comfortable position while making sure he's not caught

Crisp starts going through the tube to rebellion and senses.

Crisp: heh Nate get comfortable no one will know just you and me!

He gives his son a few head pats with his finger to pat him gently and they head up.

Nate makes a small cute noise but stays quiet as he secretly joins his father in rebellion
