Without a second of thought, John Oliver then immediately proceeded to recite the keyword 'Status!' withinside his head, in order to open up his status screen.
It didn't take long for the blue screen interface panel, which was his own personal status screen, to fully materialise in front of him.
Status Screen Name: John Age: 9 years old Gender: Male Race: Human Awaken Type: Class System User Specialised Class: Beginner Tinkerer Level: 04/25 Gene Rating: F- Gene Overall Potential: 027 Titles: Otaku, Transmigrator Stats/Attribute Health Points: 186/186 Satiety Points: 48/86 Stamina Points: 26/32 Hydration: 52/86 Class Related Energy: Locked Gene Energy Point: Locked Strength: 6 (11) Intelligence: 7 (12) Agility:

'Hmmm...' John Oliver made a slight noise, as he then compares his overall stats from before killing the Big Copper Skin Cockroach mutated beast to levelled up and after the levelled up.
He then thought so to himself. 'My stats have risen up slightly due to the levelled up growth that is steadily being made by the system.'
Although, it isn't noticeable at a glance at first, but as John Oliver continues to levelled up, the levelled up growth stats bonus will definitely affect his own growth and body development in due time.
His originally skinny lanky pair of arms has started to gained a little bit of meat upon them, as the muscles and ligaments withinside his legs and arms are starting to become slightly more developed.
'I should properly invest most of my unallocated stats points into Dexterity, Wisdom, Intelligence attribute stats, as they are the attribute stats value that my Tinkerer's class is focused solely around on.' John Oliver thought, as his assumption is really not that far off from the mark.
Having already made up his mind on the spot, John Oliver had invested 12 out of 34 unallocated stats points into the wisdom stats attribute, another 12 unallocated stats points into the dexterity attribute stats, and the final 10 unallocated stats points into the intelligence attribute stats.
Ding!
The sound of the system prompt message then resounded deeply withinside his head, as a blue screen panel then appears in front of him, displaying his choice of allocating the unallocated stats points that he gained from levelling up and obtaining the starter package.
System Notification You have invested 12 stats points into Wisdom attribute stats! 22 unallocated stats points remaining... You have invested 12 stats points into Dexterity attribute stats! 10 unallocated stats points remaining... You have invested 10 stats point into Intelligence attribute stats! 0 unallocated stats points remaining...
'I should properly have had invest some of my unallocated stats points into my agility attribute stats value in case of emergencies, when I unluckily encountered a strong and dangerous mutated beast.' John Oliver thought.
He then thought to himself. 'With a high agility stats I should be able to outrun and escape from the grasps of the dangerous ferocious mutated beast.'
'Well, there is no use spilling over spilt milk. I've already used up all of bonus unallocated stats points that I've gained from the levelling up bonus and transmigrator's starter package.' He thought so to himself.
Immediately afterwards, after using the 34 unallocated stats points that he from opening the transmigrator's starter pack and the levelling up bonus stats points, the efficiency of the Basic Disassembly skill has sped up, thereby shortening the time limit and duration that it takes to automatically disassembled the Old Broken Robot Owl Drone.
02 hours 18 minutes 42 seconds remaining!
'It would seem that after the increased of my Dexterity, Intelligence, and Wisdom attribute stats. The duration that it took to literally disassembled the Old Broken Robot Owl Drone is shortened by around twenty minutes.' John Oliver made a cross examination after increasing his Dexterity, Intelligence, and Wisdom stats, which was not much of a big indication of how much it affected his Basic Disassembly skill.
With nothing else to do, John Oliver then continues to sifts through the piles of junk that lay out in front of him. And only taking the potentially useful junk out from a large pile of trash.
There were a lot of wastefully discarded metal that was left out in the junkyard and garbage grounds to slowly rust and breakdown overtime.
John Oliver thought. 'If I have a useful blast furnace or a blacksmith forge lying around. I can easily convert these useless heaps of junk and piles of garbage metal into something useful.'
'With just a single hammer like tool, anyone could easily turned a useless piece of junk metal into a useful tool or weapon. Given that they have enough creativity and mindset to follow through, even if the end product is quite bad. So long as the makeshift crude piece of weapon does its job then it's a success.' John Oliver thought so to himself, as he lightly shrugs his shoulders off.
A couple of minutes later, one or two lone Big Copper Skin Cockroach tier 1 mutated beasts then appeared in front of him, crawling through the slight gabs in between the pieces of junk and into his line of sight.
Within seconds of spotting the lone tier 1 Big Copper Skin Cockroach mutated beast, John Oliver then immediately grabs the long old rusty copper pipe that he always carries along with him, and swatted the fist sized Big Copper Skin Cockroach mutated beast like it is some kind of pest, which it legally is.
Ding!
The sounds of the system prompt message then resounded deeply withinside his head, and a blue screen panel then appears in front of him, thereby confirming his kill of the Big Copper Skin Cockroach mutated beast and gaining experience points.
System Notification You have successfully killed a tier 1 mutated beast Lv.4 Big Copper Skin Cockroach! You have obtained 200 experience points!
System Notification Enough experience points has been gathered! You have levelled up and become level 5! You have gained 3 unallocated stats points as a levelling up bonus! You have gained 1 unused class skill points as a levelling up bonus!
System Notification You have successfully killed a tier 1 mutated beast Lv.7 Big Copper Skin Cockroach! You have obtained 350 experience points!
System Notification Enough experience points has been gathered! You have levelled up and become level 6! You have gained 3 unallocated stats points as a levelling up bonus! You have gained 1 unused class skill points as a levelling up bonus!
After each consecutive kill of the Big Copper Skin Cockroach mutated beast, he would then collect the dead carcass of the Big Copper Skin Cockroach mutated beast and stuff it withinside his pants pocket.
Afterwhich, roughly about half a hour has passed, based upon the amount of time that was subtracted from the overall countdown duration that it took to automatically disassembled the assigned Old Broken Robot Owl Drone.
In which during this amount of time, roughly about half a hour, John Oliver had actually unknowingly managed to appraised about over a hundred useless pieces of junk and broken old wearer down mechanical objects.
So the skill level of John Oliver's Appraisal identification support skill has levelled up and risen to level 5 in the meantime.
System Notification Skill proficiency has reached a designated degree! The skill [Appraisal Lv.4] has levelled up and become [Appraisal Lv.5]!
Amongst the useful wreckage that John Oliver had managed to salvaged from the useless piles of junk was an Rusty Old Stainless Steel Wrench, Old Broken Brass Plated Wristwatch, Broken Samsung 522 Smartphone, XNTech MK 4 Robot Spider Drone...
The lists goes on, but what John Oliver necessarily considered as an useless pieces of junk is up to a matter of perspective. As even broken highly technological machines can steadily provides crafting experience for his Beginner's Tinkerer class.
John Oliver had sorted the useful pieces of junk that he had managed to salvaged from the large garbage piles into groups depending upon the technology level of the discarded mechanical objects and junk.
There are three categories of piles that John Oliver had in mind, when he first picked out bits and pieces of junk out of piles of garbages.
The first piles is mostly just pieces of simple small cutlery and other thin pieces sheets of metal that can be simply shaped by hand and hammering into the desired shape with a solid piece of rock.
Unauthorized reproduction: this story has been taken without approval. Report sightings.
The second piles is presumably broken pieces or parts of mechanical objects that are slightly less advanced, but do take some time to automatically disassembled with his Basic Disassembly skil.
The third pile mostly consists of useful pieces of junk like highly advanced robot drones, modern day machinery, and so on. The blue prints and schematics that he could learn from disassembling the mechanical object is endless.
John Oliver then picks up the Old Broken Brass Plated Wristwatch from the second pile, and steadily wondered to himself. 'I wonder if I can automatically disassemble more than 1 mechanical object with my Basic Disassembly skill.'
With that thought set in mind, John Oliver then immediately tries the Basic Disassembly skill upon the Old Broken Brass Plated Wristwatch.
A visibly white outline of the Old Broken Brass Plated Wristwatch then appears in John Oliver's line of vision, as a blue interface panel then appears in front of him asking him if he wants to disassemble the Old Broken Brass Plated Wristwatch or not.
System Notification Would you like to disassembled the mechanical object [Old Broken Brass Plated Wristwatch]?
Accept Decline
Having already made up his decision on the spot, John Oliver then lightly presses upon the Accept button of the blue screen interface panel that is in front of him.
The blue screen interface panel that is in front of him then immediately vanishes, replaced with a visual countdown timer that is actually counting down as we speak.
48 minutes 21 seconds remaining!
'Hmmm...' John Oliver thought. 'It only took around forty to fifty minutes to disassembled the Old Broken Brass Plated Wristwatch when compared to the Old Broken Robot Owl Drone which took over two hours.'
'No matter the era that we lived in and how far technology has advanced thus far. Mechanical wristwatches and antique clocks would seems to be quite most popular amongst the rich and powerful upper middle classes.' John Oliver thought.
He then continues. 'The vintage feeling of the mechanical clocks ticking and the gears rolling can't be compared to the silent but highly advanced digital clocks built into the high tech holographic arm-watches.'
'Is two perhaps the limit of my Basic Disassembly skill.' John Oliver thought, wanting to test the bare limits of his Basic Disassembly skill to see how many mechanical objects it can disassemble at the sametime.
John Oliver then immediately took a random mechanical object from the assorted third pile, the one that is the most noticeably eye-catching towards him.
The XNTech MK 4 Robot Spider Drone is a round spherical robot, with one large camera lens, and eight spider-like mechanical legs.
Due to being thrown out in the junkyard for some time, the metal plated exterior of the XNTech MK 4 Robot Spider Drone has slightly rusted and turned sandy yellow.
However, the internal components of the XNTech MK 4 Robot Spider Drone was relatively intacts, being steadily protected by a waterproof barrier that protected its internal circuitry and motherboard.
Though, the XNTech MK 4 Robot Spider Drone is relatively undamaged, certain parts of the drone's internal component was missing. Either it was loss or it was purposely taken out to be used as spare parts to repair another robot Drone or machine.
Without uttering a single word, John Oliver had intentionally grab onto the round spherical body of the XNTech MK 4 Robot Spider Drone, with his right hand.
It's like grabbing onto a small size bowling ball that weighs slightly less than 2 to 3 kilograms in body weight.
'Disassemble!' John Oliver passively said the keyword out loud withinside his head, as a visible white outline of the entire body of the XNTech MK 4 Robot Spider Drone then appears withinside his field of vision.
A blue screen interface panel then appears in front of him asking whether he wants to disassemble the XNTech MK 4 Robot Spider Drone or not.
System Notification Would you like to disassembled the mechanical object [XNTech MK 4 Robot Spider Drone]?
Accept Decline
Similar to his previous choice, John Oliver then immediately presses upon the Accept button, without a second asked.
The blue screen interface panel then immediately vanishes, replacing it with a countdown timer similar to the previous two.
56 minutes 42 seconds remaining!
'The technology of the XNTech MK 4 Robot Spider Drone was severely lacking when compared to the Old Broken Robot Owl Drone.' John Oliver thought.
He then thinks to himself. 'According to some slight information and the memories from the current host body, but the MK 4 Robot Spider Drone is slightly outdated, being over a decade older than the current model which is MK 21 Robot Spider Drone.'
'It's easier to tell which model of robots is generally newer as each generation of robots tend to be much better than the previous. More kit out, filled to the brim with advanced tech, and so on.' John Oliver thought, coming to a reasonable conclusion.
After a while, an unfamiliar feeling then started to arise from withinside his stomach, a burning feeling that which wanted to be sated. He was hungry and his stomach then started rumbling.
'I'm Hungry!' John Oliver announces, but it is only he himself that is around.
'There is no proper kitchen tools, an oven, or gas stove out here in the Outer City District during the Post-apocalypse. So I would certainly have to make do with whatever I've got.' John Oliver thought, as he then started to formulate a plan withinside his head.
It didn't take long for John Oliver to find an used barrel or a discarded metal container of some kind, lying around seamlessly withinside the junkyard.
Fortunately, there is a slightly damaged and dented metal barrel, within close proximity of John Oliver's current location.
The old paint job of the metal barrel has almost completely eroded away gradually overtime, with scales of rust starting to form over the surface of the large body of the metal barrel, which doesn't really matter what kind of state and condition the metal barrel is in. So long as it is perfectly served its purpose, then it is fine.
With the added strength of a pre-adolescent child that is steadily being modified and augmented by the system. John Oliver then grabs the side of the metal barrel and lifted it up a couple of centre metres off the ground.
The added weight of the metal barrel, with a couple of metal junk lay hidden inside then adds up to a couple of 6 to 8 kg, which was certainly quite a lot to handle for his thin and scrawny childlike body.
However, it was enough to get the metal barrel to be unlodged from the ground, and then he carried it towards his target by dragging it harshly against the ground towards his desired location.
'And now, to find some kind of combustible object to start a fire. So that I can make a makeshift crude metal barrel fire pit to cook my food.' John Oliver thought, whilst contemplating upon what to do next to overcome his current difficult ordeal.
Back when his current body was still part of a group of children that was abandoned by the adults after the mutation apocalypse. There was a fire specialist ability user within the group who would always cook the food that the members of their group would usually hunt.
However, due to the horrible treatment towards those that are unawakened and those that possess a terrifyingly bad class. John Oliver was essentially kicked out of the group, but he left the group of his own volition.
John Oliver's current host body couldn't essentially survive all alone by himself within the Outer City District.
And so, within a couple of days, he nearly starved himself to death, without proper food or water to sustain himself. If it weren't for John Oliver's soul to have been transmigrated into this world. The child that is named John would have surely died on that day.
'It is pretty nice to have been awakened as a fire specialist ability user, then I wouldn't have been mistreated by the group, as I would have been proven useful and essentially important to the survival of the members within the group.' John Oliver thought so to himself, as he then sighs deeply in envy for the one to have luckily awakened as a fire specialist ability user.
Without a word, John Oliver then gathers any identifiable combustible trash, and places it on top of the metal barrel. Some weed grass, dried up grass, or ply wood. Whatever that is burnable, he places it on top within the metal barrel.
'If I remember correctly that the collision of two metals that contains high concentration of carbon would defibitely create ember sparks, and steel is the only metal that I know that really contains alot of carbon.' John Oliver thought.
The metal compound that which is steel is made up of the element iron and carbon, with stainless steel having added other elements and metals like chrome, nickel, and tin to make the stainless steel metal less prone to rust or more durable.
Ding!
The sounds of the system prompt message resounding deeply withinside his head, as a blue screen panel then appears in front of him, displaying his most recent skill acquisition.
System Notification Skill proficiency has reached a designated degree! The skill [Basic Chemistry Knowledge Lv.1] has been acquired!
'Oh, a new skill.' John Oliver thought, slightly exasperated and surprised at the sametime, at the fact that he easily acquired a new skill.
But, what he didn't knew was that the primary requisite conditions to acquiring the Basic Chemistry Knowledge skill is to know three or more elements of the periodic table off by heart.
For an individual like John Oliver who has already finished sixth form college and left high school ages ago, relearning science biology, chemistry, and physics at the high school level does not seem at all that difficult.
And in high school, during ICT class, he and his high school friends would often play the element counting game.
The element counting game is pretty simple, in which the participant would then take turns each saying a single element on the periodic table off the top of their head, until they could no longer recite anymore elements of the periodic table off of their heads.
With that said and done, John Oliver then picks up two steel metallic objects from the organised junk pile that he collected, and started smashing the two pieces of steel metal together to create a spark.
It took several attempts, and a whole lot of upper body strength, smashing the two pieces of steel metal together to produce a legitimate metal spark.
When smashing the two metal steel pieces together. The surface of the steel metal piece is constantly grinding against the surface of the other steel metal piece, which then produces several small metal sparks.
Metal sparks are produced when the two metal pieces are constantly striking, rubbing against each other, which creates friction and heat. The loosed metal particles that is shaved off within the process is then burned, set ablaze by the intense heat, that was caused by the friction of two metals.
The metal sparks that was caused by John Oliver striking the two pieces of steel metal several times. It landed on top of the metal barrel, and the stuff that was quite combustible then soon began to be set on fire.
The dried up grass was amongst the very first to be caught on fire by the metal spark that was caused by John Oliver striking the two pieces of steel metal together.
The fire then quickly spreaded, eventually setting ablaze the entirety of the top half of the metal barrel, and steadily turning into a makeshift fire pit.
'So this is what it's like to start a hobo fire barrel.' John Oliver thought.
'Well, it's pretty neat, and it sure took a lot of effort to start a measly little fire to just cook three Big Copper Skin Cockroaches mutated beast fore lunch.' He thought.
John Oliver then reached into his pants pocket and took out three dead carcasses of the Big Copper Skin Cockroach mutated beast, in which he then used a stainless steel knife cutlery that he found withinside his organised assorted junk pile as a meat skewer.
He then used the stainless steel knife cutlery to stab into one of the dead carcasses of the Big Copper Skin Cockroach, and places on top above the metal barrel fire pit to cook the insides of the dead Big Copper Skin Cockroach mutated beast.
In under a couple of minutes or two, the dead body of the Big Copper Skin Cockroach mutated beast is readily cook, and is steaming hot, with the exoskeleton of the Big Copper Skin Cockroach mutated beast being slightly burnt and covered in soots due to being too close to the metal barrel fire pit.
'The roasted Big Copper Skin Cockroach mutated beast tasted like actual cheese, being slightly salty, at the sametime crunchy.' John Oliver thought so to himself, as he then took cooked Big Copper Skin Cockroach off the fire pit, and started eating it like it was actually crab meat.
He actually broke one of the cooked Big Copper Skin Cockroach mutated beast's leg off.
With the butt end of the stainless steel knife cutlery, he smashed against the broken off cooked Big Copper Skin Cockroach mutated beast's leg in order to crack and break the exoskeleton.
Afterwards, he began to eat the cooked Big Copper Skin Cockroach mutated beast, bit by bit, piece by piece, until all three dead Big Copper Skin Cockroach mutated beast's carcasses eventually end up withinside his stomach area.
'The exoskeleton of the Big Copper Skin Cockroach mutated beast is slightly tough and a bit malleable due to its chitin skeleton being infused with copper. So it definitely can be used to make a body armour of some sort.' John Oliver thought, contemplating upon what to do with the leftover exoskeleton shell of the Big Copper Skin Cockroach mutated beast.
And also, there are three marble size pearls that ended up withinside John Oliver's hands, after he ate all three of the cooked Big Copper Skin Cockroach mutated beast carcasses.
The three marbles are actually mutated beast cores, they are the crystallised form of the mutated beast's Gene mutation energy.
If a live human were to consume a mutated beast's inner core, then there is a slight chance of obtaining the mutated beast's special ability or exclusive skill.
However, as a consequence of their actions, the purity of their human genome will decrease. With a low chance of possible body deformation and permanent mutations due to consuming a mutated beast's core.
