“Only after one dies will they truly have a longing to live. My name is Kaden Rellings. I was born on the fifth of october, almost a full two weeks after my own mother's birthday. I was Cm tall and weighed 4 pounds 10 ounces. My eye color was blue and my hair color blonde. I was always told I was going to be a looker, but when you’re the son of a multi-billionaire corporate giant people will say anything to get on your good side.
That's why, when I was diagnosed with stage four cancer at the age of 10 my father hid me in his own private hospital.
To this day the doctors still don’t know how I got cancer. Or, how it evolved so fast. Some of them speculated that since I was born with a rather weak body normal things that gave off radiation ( Like playing outside, talking on a cell phone, watching television) had a multiplied effect on my weak immune system. Others thought along a similar line, saying I had spent too much time outside and with a weak body like mine I had a higher chance of developing cancer.
Whatever the cause was, it didn’t change the fact that I went from stage zero to stage 4 in a day. I was sleeping in my bed like I normally do after coming home from school. A quick nap, then off to play with my friends. Instead, I ended up sleeping all through the day and most of the next one, only waking up mid-afternoon due to a feeling of intense hunger. My mother and father were always off on vacation or at work, so it was up to the maids my parents hired to watch over. Despite what people may say I really didn’t mind it. Even at my young age I realized the only reason I was able to live like how I was was because of my parents. So, if I had to sacrifice a bit of love to live like a king, I had no problem doing so. When the intense hunger hit I nearly screamed in pain. My stomach felt like it was going to eat itself if I didn’t get something in it.
“Yilda!” Within a few moments of my obnoxious shouting my personal maid came sauntering in, wearing the maid dress she always wore.
“Yes, Master?”
“I’m hungry. Can I have a hamburger? Oh, and a chocolate smoothie with extra extra whip cream!” I grinned at her while telling her my order. I knew she hated when I ate sweets, though since it was a weekend I knew she’d say yes.
*Sigh*”Yes Master. Also, are you feeling fine? You have slept for almost a day and a half. I tried to wake you up but you wouldn’t respond so I called a doctor in. He said you were fine, but if you aren’t…” I laughed and shook my head at Yilda’s concern. Although I loved her to death her constant worrying can wear down my nerves.
“I’m fine Yilda. I guess I was a bit tired. Now, food!!” When Yilda bowed and left, I scampered over to my dresser and pulled out my tv remote. Against the wall opposite of my bed sat 74 inch flat screen tv. Turning it on, I idly flipped through the channels while ignoring my grumbling stomach. After a few minutes of searching I decided to just turn the tv off. Nothing good was on on sundays anyways.
-I wonder why my stomach hurts so bad- I thought idly. With thinking around the problem Yilda had finished my meal and brought it up to my room.
“Mmm!! Thanks Yilda!” And without further ado, I swallowed a nice juicy bite of the double hamburger.

And promptly puked it all back up, with an added side of blood.
To be honest, I don’t really remember all that happened after that. My body felt as if it was on fire and even the air irritated my skin. I blacked out multiple times, waking up in a new spot or position each time. The only things I can remember are staring up at Yilda’s dark green eyes, which were unusually bright that day, providing a sharp contrast to her black hair.
In the end, I was diagnosed with stage 4 terminal cancer. For the past 13 years I have been forced to lie on a hospital bed, unable to move due to the numerous needles in my body. My hair has long since fallen out, and my muscles have atrophied so bad I look like a walking skeleton. Despite the drugs they give me I’m still in constant pain. And that is why, at the age of 23, I have decided to end my pitiful existence. Although it is fairly bland and barely covers two pages, I have decided to write down my final thoughts before killing myself. To my mother and father, I love you. I would say to my friends but… I don’t have any. I apologize to my parents for not being a child that they could be proud of, and having worried you about my condition. These will be my words.
I love you.”
I breathed out a sigh. Now that the book of depression was finished, it was time to do the dirty work. I clicked the small black pager next to me, signaling my nurse that I needed her assistance. Within seconds a young busty female appeared in a pure white nurse outfit. Long blonde curls cascaded past her shoulders and ended at the tip of her breasts. Her name was Sadie, if I recall. She had a pretty face, one that I thought suited perfectly the job she had to do.
“Ahh… Sadie, was it? I would like to take a shower now.” Even speaking was a pain. I tried my hardest not to cough, hoping to maintain an image of good health.
“As you wish, Mr.Rellings. Your condition seemed to have improved recently. You have been coughing less and less, and even started walking around.”
-That's because I’m trying to kill myself in peace-
“I will summon some nurses to help you with the shower. Please wait a moment.” She turned to leave the room but I stopped her before she could.
“That will not be necessary. I wish to take a bath in peace.” I told her, getting off my bed despite the tumultuous protest from my legs.
“Mr Rellings I do not think that would be wis--”
“That's fine. I wasn’t asking.” Without another word I sauntered past her, heading to the bathing room next door. The area I was headed to was my own private spa room that was regularly heated. I slipped of my clothes upon entering the room, grabbing the cooking knife I had stolen from my breakfast tray earlier out of my clothes. I slowly sat down on the floor next to the spa.
-This is it- I thought. -My last few moments in this world- I lowered myself into the spa, reveling in the high temperatures.
-Aaaah. It soothes my aching bones- I waited a few minutes before grabbing my knife.
-Well then. Lets meet lady death-
