In Natal Dawn School today’s, the first day of this year and many students were gathered around their teachers and chatting happily while making new friends. Only one class stood in total silence.
All the teachers were either cracking jokes or giving serious instruction about something or introducing about them or discussing different topics to lighten the mood.
Well, not exactly all teacher, only one teacher just stood like a statue enjoying the pleasant scenery. The teacher was more like a demonic bear or a gorilla than a human. Students around him were either trembling in fear or frozen from the shock.
Among this group one student stood out he wasn’t frozen or trembling in fear, there was no hint of fear in his eyes; he was just standing there calmly with slight discontent on his face. It’s Quinn, who was waiting for his classmates.
After every student came, the gorilla teacher cleared his throat with a cough. Though it was just a cough, many of the little girls were on the verge of crying, and some even had light tears welling up in their eyes.
The teacher’s voice was like a foghorn and a bit hoarse; it was purely a punishment for their poor ears.
“Everyone get on the cloud lets go to our class-island.” The teacher totally ignored the student’s expressions and went to the cloud floating near him, once he came near the cloud, a small staircase appeared.
Following their teacher, the kids entered the clouds while enviously glancing at the group next to them, the teacher was a handsome gentleman, and the students were laughing at the jokes cracked by their teacher.
After everyone entered, the cloud slowly floated and flew towards the lake. Quinn looked around and found they were the first one to leave; other classes were discussing something with the students.
Though they were scared, the students were still looking forward to their class. The cloud slowly flew, they crossed many islands. The islands were all covered by thick white fog. Though the fog looked natural, Quinn had a feeling that it was man-made as the entire lake was clear.
The Pregrandis Lake was pure, and they were only able to see only water, it was like they were in the boundless ocean. Looking at the horizon, Quinn felt that it was wrongly named it should have been Pregrandis Ocean instead of Pregrandis Lake.
After a while, the Floating cloud slowly descended. Quinn and his classmates entered an island and went through the white fog, suddenly the fog thickened and even looking at the person before them was difficult.
It was like entering some haunted island and with such a scary teacher accompanying it was even creepier, and the kids who have calmed after viewing the beautiful lake also started to shiver, and some girls even cried.
Then the gorilla teacher sighed seeing scared children and took a token. After that, the fog receded and a virgin forest appeared before them, and the Flying cloud proceeded.

After that, a timeworn old building greeted them, and the floating cloud slowly descended in front of the building. There was no name written or indications on the building.
When Quinn went closer to the building, he felt that the building was a living being like an old sleeping tortoise. Though it had many cracks and fissures, it still managed to give a sense of comfort when they approached the building.
Then the bear teacher shouted, “Fran, come and get the kids.” He was screaming like a furious wounded bear.
Soon a young man in his late-twenties came out of the old building, he had a scholarly outlook with an average yet pleasing face. His face was beaming with smile and excitement.
Fran was in cyan robe with thin white strips; along with long silvery-white hair, he was like the pure sun that was emitting holy light.
The good mood which was building up was immediately shattered by the gorilla teacher’s annoying sound.
“Fran this will the last time I will be going to that troublesome place, its pain in the ass to look after these snotty kids and crybabies.”
The teacher turned around and went to the woods. It was like a caged-bear returning to its home after escaping from the prison. Fran shook his head, seeing the gorilla entering the forest and then saw the kids who were trembling and shiver seeing the other teacher.
“Hello, kids welcome to Natal Dawn School and Dusty Zephyr Island. You can call me Teacher Fran; now someone tell me what has teacher Ben explained so far I will continue from there on.”
After that, Fran waited for someone to answer. But the children are yet to recover from the shock and Quinn didn’t want to stand out, so the entire scene was a bit awkward. A young man silently standing in front of many kids waiting for an answer.
After some time, Fran knew no one would voluntarily answer; hence he pointed at one kid and asked him again without losing his patience. The kid answered slowly after some hesitation.
“Teacher Fran my name is Gilbert Huston, teacher bear only told us to get on the cloud he didn’t explain anything else. But Vice-Principal Albus explained the principle behind banning technological devices.”
The kid got courageous seeing the new teacher and spoke after a little consideration to impress the teacher. Little did Gilbert know his courageous attempt was akin the digging his own grave as Ben was listening to the kids from the forest.
Fran was speechless hearing the student referring Ben as Bear and praising Albus in front of Ben; in fact, Fran even slightly admired his courage. He was even more shocked to find that Ben didn’t even introduce himself to the students, but when he thought of Albus’s presence, he instantly understood how the entire assembly played out.
“Gilbert it’s not teacher bear, he’s Teacher Ben also The Head of Dusty Zephyr Island so be respectful. Okay everyone let’s go to the classroom and continue our discussion.”
Fran actually wasn’t worried about Gilbert, since he knew Ben very well. Though Ben might act like a boorish idiot, in fact, he was pretty friendly and reasonable.
After that, he took everyone to their classroom inside the nameless old building. The class was filled with desks and chairs for small children.
“Everyone take a chair, the boys on the right and girls on the left.” Then Fran went to the stage waited for the kids to settle down.
“All of you must be from different countries and came here to learn about cultivation. Some of you might have even asked your parents or the other about cultivation. But the person you have asked would have never given you a straight answer am I right?”
When the kids heard this question, they all became serious and nodded their head. The small kids were like university students listening to a critical lecture.
“Your parents merely wished to give a happy and carefree childhood. The rest of your life will revolve around cultivation, and it will bring tremendous pressure to the people. Those short 5-year period are the only time you could retain your naivety and innocence.”
“Don’t get me wrong, cultivation is not some horrible or a boring thing; in fact, it is one of the most fascinating things that I have ever known. Generally, people forget to enjoy cultivation and try to force it on themselves and face many severe consequences.”
