Grade: Copper

Most basic spell of Arcane Magic. Caster conjures a bolt of raw magic power that is then fired at designated target. It isn’t guided and is easily repelled by magic shields. Causes blunt damage on contact.

Magic Shield

Type: Thaumaturgy

School: Arcane Magic

Grade: Copper

Most basic defense spell. Caster surrounds himself with a invisible magical shield that can repel all incoming projectiles and attacks. It has a set number of Shield Points that are lost when an attack is stopped or as time progresses. What’s more, it can be used to defend only from an attacks coming from one direction.

School: Life Magic

Grade: Copper

A most basic hex of Life Magic. Target loses some of its lifeforce. Attack is unblockable but can be resisted by stronger targets. Losing lifeforce depletes stamina and causes growing debuffs, can also kill the target if enough of them is cast.

A basic hex of Life Magic. Target loses small amount of lifeforce that is then converted into mana and used to replenish caster’s manapool. The effect is weak, but it can be an useful hex.

A basic hex of Life Magic. Target loses a small chunk of his lifeforce. Attack is unblockable, but can be resisted by stronger targets. Losing lifeforce depletes stamina and causes growing debuffs, can also kill the target if enough of them is cast.

A basic hex of Life Magic. Target is imbued with dark magic that keeps devouring his lifeforce until the hex is dispelled or runs out of mana. Can be resisted by stronger targets.

A most basic hex of Life Magic. Target suffers a small wound, that keeps bleeding until the hex holds, causing small blood loss in beings that possess blood. Daemons lost some of their vitality.

A most basic hex of Doom Magic. Summons tentacle that can be manipulated by the caster. It isn’t strong enough to cause physical damage, but can immobilize targets. Sanity damage is negligible.

A most basic hex of Doom Magic. Caster draws the raw powers of Beyond and channels them through the target, causing notable debuffs to most attributes. On the downside, this hex is extremely costly for its level and can be easily broken. Sanity damage is negligible.

A basic hex of Doom Magic. It destabilizes the reality in front of the caster, creating a variant of magic shield that can swallow projectiles, spells and hexes, and is generally rather hard to pass through. Is also rather eldritch in theme, weakening of sanity of those who see it.

PESTS

Screecher

Category: Eldritch/Beyond

Type: Daemon/Servile

Threat Grade: Copper II

Screechers are pretty much interdimensional pests. They sometimes use summonings (especially failed ones) to cross into Reality, hoping to devour flesh. They aren’t dangerous unless in great numbers and against unprepared opponents.

The biggest problem with them is that they can multiply almost endlessly when left alone. They can draw their own kin from Beyond quite quickly, and where one screecher is, soon a dozen will be.

Spirit of Pain

Category: Eldritch/Beyond

Type: Daemon/Spirit

Threat Grade: Copper V

A lowest grade of creatures loyal to the lords of Beyond. They are a non sentient gateway through which the raw powers of the Beyond enter the Reality. While it is incapable of direct attacks, watching it for too long can destabilize a mind, causing its slow descent into insanity. They also project an aura that strengthens pain, while inducing a growing tendency for sadomasochism and self mutilation, especially in those of weak will.
