Chapter 14: Secret Underground Prison

Chapter 14: Secret Underground Prison

After Sol was captured, he was chained up and together with the demons, they are now heading back to Darcia city.

‘Welp, whatever. It’s not like I will die anyway.’

Several days later…

“Walk you lazy piece of shit!!” yelled one of the demon soldiers.

“Nope, I’ll stay right here. If you’re not happy, you can carry me then, because I’m not walking no matter what.” [Sol]

“Grrr!! You lazy bastard!!!”

One of the demon soldiers was so mad that he took out his hammer and smashed Sol hard.

CLANG!!!

Naturally, Sol didn’t feel anything from the attack since his skin was as tough as diamond.

Many demons were frustrated as they couldn’t torture Sol because their attacks couldn’t penetrate his defend. Plus, they have to carry Sol like a baby because Sol refused to walk with them.

Normally when a prisoner refused to walk, the demons would punish them by inflicting pain, and thus the prisoners would be scared and immediately start moving. However, in Sol’s case, it’s not possible to do that, which was why all the demons were so pissed off.

Not only that, because Sol has unlimited stamina, so he pretty much struggled nonstop 24/7 for these past few days. And he does that on purpose to make it harder for the demon soldiers to carry him. Due to that, the demon soldiers had to rotate carrying Sol every hour in order to have some rest in between.

“Asshole! You want us to carry you and yet you’re struggling on purpose to make it harder for us.”

“You mad, bro? Bitch, hit me then if you’re not happy. Hahaha!”

The demons knew Sol was provoking them on purpose, and as much as they hated it, they knew it was part of Sol’s plan to tire them out. After all, the more they release their anger on Sol, the more energy they are going to waste. For these past few days, the demons had to suppress their anger the whole time, because that was the only way they can save their energy, and to them, it was pure mental torture.

“Come on! You bunch of cowards! Hit me more please! Why are you guys so scared? Release your anger, trust me, it will make you feel a million times better.” [Sol]

“Shut the fuck up, you inferior dog!”

“Now that’s what I'm talking about! Come on, don’t stop, I wanna hear your scream more.”

“Bastard! Don’t act cocky just because we can’t hurt you. In the future, once we find out your weakness, it will be over for you.”

“Wow! That’s so scary! I’m really scared now. Hahaha!”

Two weeks later…

Finally, they arrived at Darcia city and Sol was thrown into the secret underground prison.

“Get in there you filthy cockroach!” said one of the prison guards as he shoved Sol onto the ground violently.

“What did you just say?! Did you just call me a cockroach! You motherfucker! Wait till I get my power back, I swear all of you will taste hell!” [Sol]

“Blah! Blah! Shut your mouth! We get it, already!”

Even the prison guards gave up on torturing Sol because they knew it was pointless.

Thanks to the information they received from the demon soldiers regarding Sol’s behavior, they knew from the get go of what Sol was trying to do, so they didn’t bother wasting their time and energy dealing with Sol.

Unfortunately, Sol was placed in a different cell room compared to Valor, because of that, he hasn’t met up with Valor yet.

One week passed since Sol was stuck in this prison.

The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.

One of the Elite Demons came to check up on Sol.

“Woah, amazing! You’re still alive even after a week of no food and water.” [Terasia]

“I suggest you should give up, because no matter what you do you will never kill me.” [Sol]

“Hmm, I’ve heard some humans can go on without food for a few weeks before dying, but without water, it should be one week max. Of course, a Diamond-Rank human could go on longer, maybe up to three months or more. Oh well, I guess I’ll come back again in three months. Alright, see you later, Mr. Handsome!” Terasia said in a flirtatious way before leaving.

“Wait!! Where the hell are you going?!! Get me out of here first before you go!!!”

Roughly one month later…

During this whole time, Sol didn’t sleep and had been struggling to break the chain for the last one month and one week. What he had realized was that the more he struggled, the looser the chain became. Out of nowhere, something popped into his mind:

‘Durability?’

Because his body functions like a video game, therefore the world around him also functions like a video game to him. He might not have noticed it, but every object and every living thing in this world has what you called “Health Points” or in short “HP”. And just like in any video game, you destroy or kill something by hitting them until the HP reaches zero.

[Metal Chain Durability: 212400/262800 HP]

Every minute he struggled, the durability of the metal chain’s HP dropped by one. In other words, for the remaining 212,400 HP, it will take him roughly 4.8 months before he could break free.

Unfortunately, he couldn’t see the metal chain’s HP with his naked eyes, so at the moment, he could only estimate for now.

The only way he could see his opponent’s HP or object’s HP is to unlock the System Shop first. Because there’s a skill the System Shop sells that allows him to view people or objects's HP. But until then, he could only use his instinct to estimate for now.

Roughly a total of three months and one week later…

“Impressive. Look like you’re still alive.” [Terasia]

“Heh, what do we have here? Aren’t you the same bitch who visited me a few months ago?” [Sol]

“Bitch?! Hmm, that’s rude. Whatever, I came here because I have great news for you.”

“Oh, really? What is it?”

“Well, telling you now wouldn't be fun, but you will see it later. For now, let’s relocate you elsewhere.”

“Relocate?”

“Alright, take him and follow me!” Terasia said to the prison guards.

“Yes, master! Right away!”

Without delay, they dragged Sol out of the cell and began heading up the stairs and eventually, they exited the underground prison.

Once they exited the underground prison and arrived on the castle’s first floor, for the first time in three months and one week, Sol was able to get a glimpse of some sunlight.

“Ugh… so bright…”

“Ahem,” Sol cleared his throat, “May I ask where we are going?”

Terasia didn’t reply as she already told him earlier that he will know when he gets there.

After a while, they began heading down a stair and it appeared they’re heading to an underground torturing chamber.

As they dragged Sol down the stairs, Sol could feel that it was getting hotter and hotter.

‘Where the hell are they bringing me to?’

Sol was curious.

After a short while, they arrived at a place full of hot lava.

“Throw him into the lava pool!” Terasia said to the 4 prison guards.

“I thought you said you have good news for me, but it turn out you’re just planning to torture me from now on, huh?” [Sol]

Without delay, the 4 prison guards dragged Sol and threw Sol into the massive lava pool.

MINI EXPLOSION!

BUBBLES BURSTING!

RUMBLING, HISSING!

Many things happened in the big lava pool.

“Is he dead?” One of the prison guards asked.

As the prison guards were chatting and wondering whether Sol was still alive or not, all of sudden, Sol’s head popped out just at the top of the lava surface.

“This is pretty fun! It’s like a swimming pool except it’s extremely hot, kinda like a sauna bath,” said Sol while swimming around the lava pool.

Thanks to the hot lava melting the metal chains on him, he was finally free, that was why he could swim around freely.

When Terasia saw that, she became a little annoyed.

‘Dammit! How could it not work? This lava pool could even harm a Platinum-Rank demon and yet this guy is treating it like a swimming pool… Seriously, I would expect him to experience some pain, but it seems like he doesn’t even feel pain at all. Hmm, is there perhaps something wrong with his pain receptors?’ [Terasia]

After a while, Terasia summoned a Magma Golem to drag Sol out of the lava pool. And seeing Sol’s naked body, Terasia blushed and covered her eyes with her hands.

“O-Oh my!”

“Ah, you bitch! What the hell are you looking at?!”

“Get him some clothes, hurry!” Terasia said to the prison guards.

“Put me down already, you stupid golem!”

After the prison guards helped Sol to get dressed, that was when they proceeded to head to another room.

This time it was a freezer room with a temperature of -275 Celsius, and Sol was placed in there.

At this point, Terasia was experimenting with all kind of torture method to see if Sol could feel pain or even die.
