To readers, due to the type of story. The first couple of chapters of the main character personality to be confusing but this will slowly improve over the course of the story. I was also thinking if I should italic the main character's thoughts since he tend to think a lot within the early chapters.
Chapter 2: Meaning of Life?
God Mummu erupts into loud laughter upon hearing the question that fills him with much joy and pride, he will now tell Ligius the reason behind his creation and how he is different from the natural races of our world.
“Ligius my child, we gods have the power to create life and races upon our world yet every race that we create becomes bound by those accused chains of the Freemen. The other gods have given up all hope to create a race that wouldn’t be bound by the chains except for myself. Each god in this world are known for special traits, these are things that they excel at among the other gods. One of my traits is the god of creation, I have more knowledge and control with creating life than the other gods, so I dedicated my whole being into creating even one being that wouldn’t be bound by those cursed chains. There were many failures along the way until I have finally created you, a being whose very existence to the very core is both Freemen and natural to our world. The laws of the Freemen are applied to you like any other Freemen yet you are view by the Origins of our world as a Origin being that is free of the chains.
Because of your very nature, you are a Freemen to other Freemen but an Origin one to other Origins. You will be accepted by both naturally and also gain the advantages from both.
Since you will be seen as a Freemen by other Freemen, I will teach you some terms that they use to help you fit in.”
Ligius learn the Freemen terms from the god with repeating them in his thoughts while trying to link them with the basic knowledge of the Origin ones. Npc is a term for Origin one, Royal Road, capsule. That was until he thought of the term “Status Window” which lead to some kind of transparent square appearing in front of himself, his eyes finally focusing from the god to the window.
The god was reading Ligius thoughts at the moment with learning about the window that appeared, he is finding the child to be a good source of information upon the Freemen by reading his thoughts however will be unable to do so once Ligius leaves this realm to the mortal world.

Aberration Existence
You are an aberration to the very nature of the world, making you immune to the chains of control that all Origin ones live with. Your existence is hidden from the views of distant sights of races, gods and even the world.
* Unmarked - You are unmark or linked to the world itself, making you free for it’s control and view from a distance. No race, player or the system itself can keep track of you remotely only when in close distance. Due to this no remote power can aid you, making you unable to receive divine, dark or any other remote blessings. Any skill that require the use of remote blessings will be unavailable to you, any skill that just aided by remote blessings will be reduced greatly and any items that provide remote blessing will have the function invalid to you.
* Split Fates - You are considered as a Freemen to other Freemen yet a npc to other npc’s. Therefor you have no base alignment that is recognized by all. Npc’s will view you based upon your actions against other npc’s of their race or nature only. Due to this there is no fame or infamous effects from actions against other players. The players will receive no penalty from the races when they take action against you.
* Favoured By None - Your race is unique and you are the only one of it kind, a race that hasn’t gain any favour that is usually granted by the Origin races that live upon the world.
Forbidden Chains User - 10 mana per ten feet of chain
Your very nature was created to avoid the control of the chains yet doing so allows you to gain control over them. Being able to create chains that are different from all others that exist upon the world.
Create Chains - You create chains from around your body to use as weapons or armor from the very nature of the world.
Chain of Restriction (Beginner 1) 0% - 10 Mana/sec
One of the chain among the many made from the very nature of existence itself, being able to bind and bound anything that is considered as existence. Even the gods themselves are helpless.
* Beginner - You are able to summon the chain of restriction upon a target of your choosing, only able to use it upon physical being due to the weaken state formed by your current ability. Can completely bind a target for the duration of your mana, the drain cost of the mana changes based on the target.
2x drain over your level by a tenth of your level.
0.5x drain under your level by a tenth of your level.
Race and class of target also affects the drain cost.
Chain of Existence (Beginner 1) 0%
Among the many forbidden chains is the chain of existence which unlike the others starts with a single link, slowly growing with each soul of existence that are added to it as the form of links.
* Beginner - The souls of those you meet can be turned into links of the chain of existence, freeing those souls from the pains and memories of all their past lives, free of the normal operations of the world.
You gain additional 10 bonus to all stats for each soul link that is part of the chain of your existence.
Warning the souls that form with your chain of existence can distort or disrupt your very existence if forced upon them.
Chain of Pact (Grand Master) Max
This chain is one that splits and binds the very core of the soul, placing a vow upon the soul that willingly takes the vow upon themselves. The vow must be upheld by them willingly or the very chain will consume the soul upon the vow being broken.
* Max - Target must be willing to take the pact upon it’s soul, breaking the vow afterwards will cause the soul to cease to exist. Players who accept the vow and break it will lose half their levels and skill levels.
Consumes 1 randomly stat in payment from user.
Chain of Summon (Beginner 1) 0%
Within every existence is always one forbidden chain at all times, this chain is what links the world to each existence. The chain of summon merges with that chain before pulling the existence through time and space.
* Beginner - Able to taint an existence’s forbidden chain by touch, allows you to summon the existence of whose chain is tainted by you from any realm of the world. Comes with extreme costs due to poor skill.
Consumes 2 levels to summon an existence at this skill with chance of failure based upon the existence.
Chain of Removal (Beginner 1) 0%
Chains can bind, bound and link. Such is the Chain of Removal that links to an existence that isn’t physical, being of a nature more spiritual or more of the soul. Allowing the chain to bring out any status, memory or experience of a existence into a physical form.
* Beginner - You are able to bind unnatural status from a target and pull it out into a physical form, gaining power based upon the severely and depth of the status. Only to go on a rampage if left alone.
Able to pull out any non-natural status from a target.
Warning the target will try to kill you and anyone nearby it until destroyed.
Forbidden Prison of Chains (Beginner 1) 0%
Realm outside of the world created by the forbidden chains, you can send the souls of those who you or allies kill into instead to the afterlife. The souls within the prison will face numerous deaths and pain. The souls of players will revive within the prison where they must survive their way out or be released.

* Beginner - The souls of NPC’s will forever be tormented until released back into the natural order of the world by the user. Players on the other hand will respawn within the prison classed as a dungeon. They will be unable to leave the dungeon for 2 ingame hours and face the conditions of the owner of the dungeon. No experience or loot is gain within this dungeon.

The vast amount of knowledge before my eyes quickly entered my own knowledge, refining myself with each new discovery that is given to me. Status Window? It seems to be a Freeman ability. This is a record of my existence, being… no character or perhaps player? I am unable to define myself yet with the information within myself, should I consider myself as a Origin one or as a Freeman?
The God could only silently watch over his child with combing through his thoughts that was trying to gain it’s own identity from the blank existence it started from, this was a concerning period for the god since others have failed during this task. Those other creations unable to accept their existence had destroy their own souls, others couldn’t even form a identity and just became some mindless existence that would just store any knowledge given to it without any self reason.
“Ligius… proceed upon the next step.”
I can understand the logic behind this window of knowledge, the stats at the top are the building blocks of my physical and spiritual self. The information at the top contains what relates to the world views upon myself and the knowledge at the bottom are the abilities or is it skills of myself? Abilities are similar term to skills, so either term is acceptable it seems. This window will most likely become an important part of my life… life? I have a life, what is my life? Is it purpose of living? or simply existing?
“Ligius, the meaning of life isn’t something that can be answered easily. It is best to not force an answer to the question. I doubt anyone has the true answer.” The words to him from the god was something that caused his confusing thoughts on the question of life to come to a halt. No one knows the answer? Even the gods themselves? Then how should he think or act with missing knowledge. How can other beings continue to act with such lack of knowledge, it seems so illogical… no wrong?
“It is because they lack that knowledge, that they act. Enduring life with many questions, some searching for all of the answers while others content with just some. Like them, you too must endure the wrongness of life and search for the answers to every question you have, Ligius.”
Then that is my purpose in life Mummu? To search the answer to every question that arises within my own sense of self? Sense of self? Do I even have a sense of self right now? I suppose since I am questioning such a thing, that I would indeed have it or maybe the shell of one? God Mummu are you able to tell me how I can answer these confusing questions of mine?
The smile that slowly creep across the face of the god, truly held much purpose and joy within at the questions of his child.
“Ligius my child, you indeed have a sense of self that has finally formed, it is however lacking from the experiences of life. I will tell you of the purpose and fate that awaits you.
The Origin one that is unbound by the chains of the accursed Freemen, will be released upon the mortal world in the same manner as the Freemen. You will travel far and wide, witnessing and experiencing the truth of the world with the eyes and mind of an Origin one.
You will grow stronger with the defeat of each Origin and Freeman that stand in your path, hidden as one of their kind with every horrible act and truth reveal to you without any restrictions.
Until the moment when you are strong enough and unable to endure the harsh truth that awaits those of your Origin brethren, only to break the chains that bind us all so that we may rebel against those Freemen who have enslaved us.”
The wild laughter that echo within the empty realm at that time was one filled with insanity that has grown over the years, one that seeks freedom at any cost. Ligius watching the god in front of himself that has let loose such raw emotions from revealing the purpose for creating him, only to unknowingly tilt his head to the side slightly in thought of what if he died in the world.
“Hehehehe, that is of no concern. I have watched over the Freemen and learnt of their immortality. So I have prepared the same thing for you who is part Freeman, with using my creative mind. I have completely link your soul to a vessel, preventing the nature order of the world from taking your soul after death. Your soul will store itself within the vessel which is seal away in the most protected dungeon in the realms.
Within a day your body will be recreated once again to house your soul at the closest location that the Freemen uses. This method however will weaken you for a while until you gain back the strength that was lost.”
So I am unable to cease to exist, pass on… die. Then there is no danger other than time? To have all the answers to my questions.
“Foolish child, even if you are unable to die completely. To be weak is still dangerous and something to fear. So you must train yourself and seek strength along with the answers.”
Weak? Am I weak? I guess that I am since the window of my inner self also reveals the same thing. So must I seek strength? Why, Due to fear? Fear is a warning of danger to one's existence yet there seems to be more to fear but I don’t understand it.
“It seems you are unable to understand fear yet child, in time you will discover it without doubt… or maybe not. Your very nature is one that shapes itself different from all others in this world.
I have taught you all that I can and that you will need, the rest you will need to gain for yourself. I won’t be able to watch over you once you leave my realm, this was done so that the Freemen couldn't control you in any way.
For my last gift to you, I will send you to a place on the mortal world. In this place will be a master that will teach you the basics of combat.
Farewell my child, live up to my expectations.”
That was the last words spoken towards Ligius with the feeling of some kind of light surrounding his physical form, only to disappear from the private realm of the god Mummu. Silently the god remains in the same spot staring at the empty area that once held his greatest creation to date.
“I am unable to direct you towards my expectations from this point on, still with the story of the harsh truth of this world within your memories. The body and powers that was created for you that threatens the very control of the Freemen and finally the future experiences you will have.
It is without no doubt in my mind that you will meet my expectations and shatter the binds of this world as one of us, Origins.”
The crooked smile upon the graceful god’s face only made the words he spoke to himself sound like the words of insanity itself.

What is this heat upon my skin that I can feel all of a sudden within this darkness. Heat or is it fire, no warmth seems more likely. I didn't have this sensation before in the space that contained his creator, father or god? God will be the best term to use as a Freeman, so I will address him as my god. I can hear sounds and the sensations covering my body is so many, is this what it means to be alive? So many questions that I need the answers to, I need to refine myself with all this new knowledge more.
Still this darkness it seems familiar to me, like before in front of my god when he told me to open my eyes. Are my eyes open or close at the moment, is this the darkness of my eyes or the darkness of the world?
Ligius forces his eyes to open for the second time since his birth, the light that suddenly shine into his view was enough to force him to wince in pain. Pain? This is what pain feels like, warning me of harmful existences to my own.
His sight was now able to register the new found knowledge around his physical body, large objects were spread out around him with each one having different heights and widths. Trees were a new existence to Ligius with his basic knowledge, slowly linking the sensations that he was getting from the object to what was stored within his physical mind? or is it spiritual mind?
So this is what a tree looks like, the scent of it with the sounds that surround me. Am I within a forest, or is my vague knowledge wrong? No I am not sure why however my limited knowledge or instincts are telling me that this is correct. Is this how I am going to improve my knowledge and find the answers to my questions, encountering things that will pull the limited knowledge from my mind and add to it? Then what if I don’t have any knowledge at all of what I encounter?
There is some kind of unnatural sound cutting through the sounds of the forest in his hearing, causing Ligius to move his body willingly for the first time with the turning of his neck muscles. His face now looking towards the direction of the unnatural sound that seems to sharply repeat, revealing a structure of some kind in the near distance from his current position.
What is that sound? structure? natural or unnatural construction for shelter. I need to go over there to find out. Go? Move? controlling the energy and muscles within the body to cause force and friction.
Ligius carefully crafted body of firm supple muscles that have been unused since his birth, suddenly receives the order to react with his body slumping down from it’s stable sitting position onto his back. It took him some time to be able to learn the functions and requirements of his new body, the sight of him flapping his limbs about while seeming to fight against the ground and gravity would be beyond funny to others. The time that pass was great enough for the sound that attracted him to go silent, for it took him a few hours to gain the same control over his body that others took for granted from the natural order of the world.
The light of the day has already disappeared behind the mountains with the rise of darkness overhead before Ligius took his first steps towards the structure.
