Yuri didn't know where she was. The place was dark, too dark for her to see anything. She tried reaching out to touch something, but she could barely move her arms. Was she still paralyzed? Wait, that isn't right, hadn't she died already? Where was this? Why couldn't she move properly? How the hell was she even conscious anyway? Was this a coffin or something?
With great effort, Yuri finally managed to move her arms, though not that much. To her surprise, what she touched wasn't the cold, hard metal she was expecting, but a soft, not to mention disgustingly wet… membrane? Disbelief and horror coating her features, she tried jumping away from the thing, only to find that she couldn't because something connected to her belly was stuck.
What? No, no, no, no, no… This can't be happening…
She slowly reached a hand out, and there it was, a familiar wet and squishy feeling that made her frown in disgust. What the actual… Am I actually inside a fucking womb?! The thought horrified her so much that she became stiff for a few seconds before letting the shocking, terrifying fact sink in.
Once calm enough, she started thinking about her current situation, and how she had ended up in… here.
'All right. So… I am currently… Literally inside a woman's body, and have my very own umbilical cord connected to her whatever, meaning I am an unborn baby. And am about to be born… Fuck. The thought makes me want to throw up. I really want to punch something, but as I am right now, I doubt trying to punch wouldn't exhaust all of my tiny amount of energy. Just staying awake is hard.'
Yuri tried to keep her eyes open, barely managing to actually do so. She then looked around, although her instincts screamed at her not to, in case she sees something… unnerving, and thankfully, she didn't.
'How did I end up here again? I should've been dead as of now, and wandering the afterlife (?) I guess, after I... killed myself.' Strangely, she wasn't sad at all, but furious.
'...That damn bastard...'
A familiar chilling sensation inside her sent her nerves into overdrive, yet instead of panicking, she reveled in the familiar cold feeling within her.
'Ah, now I kinda wish I'd revive in my previous body and stab them to death too. And that guy... Maybe cut off his ×××× for doing that disgusting thing to me when I was weak and vulnerable.'
Weak… Vulnerable…
Yuri clenched her fists.
'I will work hard, harder than I have ever done, and I will never be at the mercy of anyone ever again!'
Determination coursed through her veins as she resolved, and soon extreme exhaustion overcame her body and she slowly lost consciousness.

After an unknown amount of time, Yuri woke up. She opened her eyes and excitedly looked around, but her excitement immediately turned to disappointment when she realized she was still inside her 'mother's' body, within a crazily disgusting whatever and feeling the strange 'connection' from her abdomen to the 'thing'. It was a weird feeling and she wasn't getting used to it anytime soon.
Ignoring the unpleasantness of being inside a reproductive organ, Yuri wondered how she was able to keep herself conscious while her current body hasn't even finished developing. Of course, this had something to do with the Goddess of Life, Ava, but she had no way to know that for now. While she was scanning her underdeveloped brain for some answers, a warm and wet… thing encased her body.
Yuri, caught unaware, immediately became alert.
'Okay, okay, calm down… what the fuck is happening?'
The thing's hold on her loosened, then tightened once more and her body was pushed downwards, a faint sound of a scream was heard. Yuri was completely terrified.
'Holy shit… this is…?!'
Then her body was forced to move again. Yuri was about to cry. She didn't know how many times she experienced the disgusting feeling of being pushed down by her mother's 'whatever' before she finally saw the light. Yuri almost rejoiced when she got out of there, now a completely normal hand held her body. Okay, if not a little bit bloody, but that didn't bother her, hey, at least she was out of there!
Yuri opened her eyes slowly, and unlike what she had expected, there wasn't the bright light that doctors used, but instead the warm feeling of the sun. Curious, she looked around, although it was a bit hard, and was taken by surprise.
Yuri was stumped.
There were four people in the room, including her mother. Her mother was a very beautiful woman, and not even the sweat nor her messy black hair sticking to her pale face could hide that. But what shocked her wasn't the unearthly beauty that her mother held, but the pointy ears that showed under her hair.
'…Elf? Okay… So I'm not on Earth, and my mom's an elf, how about my dad?' Yuri looked around. For some reason, she wasn't shocked at the thought of these beings existing. It was as if her instincts knew that there was nothing to be surprised about.
There were two other women with them, one was a girl who looked 15-ish, with short black hair and warm eyes, which Yuri found detestable. One was an older woman, probably thirty, who was holding her, and was staring at her with a… horrified expression?

The other was a pathetic looking man standing beside the door. He had slick brown hair and green eyes, a muscular body, yet he was biting his lip, shaking in fright as he stared at his newborn daughter. Yuri, repulsed, crinkled her nose and looked back at the woman who was holding her. She had the same features as her father, her hair a darker shade of brown, though her eyes were hazel. Both the woman and the man she assumed to be her father looked human enough. In that case, was she a half-elf?
"--------------! ---------------!!!" The older woman started shouting words, and the man flinched, he looked like he was close to tears, which made Yuri frown. 'My dad is a wimp? I don't like the sound of that at all. Reminds me of my last dad.' She then turned back to the woman, wondering what sort of language she was speaking. It wasn't Chinese, not Japanese, Spanish, French nor was it Deutsch. It most certainly wasn't English either, although it almost sounded like it.
"---------------------------!! ---------------!!!! ------------." The woman yelled angrily, and the man nodded. The other people in the room had sad faces, especially her mother. A nagging feeling told Yuri that whatever this woman was saying was going to be a nuisance in the following days.
Oh, how right she was.
________
Several moments earlier…
Remus was resting comfortably in the living room, when a young girl wearing a maid outfit burst through the doors. He immediately opened his eyes and stared at her angrily, opening his mouth to shout, but was interrupted by the maid. Again.
"Master! Lady Helena is giving birth, we need you there, now!"
Remus closed his mouth and stood up. He nodded towards the maid and hurriedly ran over to their room, which was, thankfully just next to the living room. He opened the reddish brown door excitedly, only to be met by an unpleasant sight.
His sister. Lady Therese Zion, a woman of unimaginable strength and a magical genius. She was the head of the clan as well, and had been since ten years ago. With their parents dead, and every elder in the family scheming to get the position, someone in the main family had to take over. Which left only the two of them as the remaining children of the main family. With him having pathetic talent in magic, he was looked down upon by the clan, and thus, his sister who had extremely high potential and an impressive talent in earth and healing magic took the position instead. And he, the pathetic younger brother, lost everything that was meant to be his.
And now that he was having his child, he was extremely excited, but with his sister there, he doubted that he could even get an inch closer to his child. Clenching his fists, he closed the door behind him and stood straight, remembering what his sister had told him days before.
'Listen well, Remus. I do not approve of you having a child. Also, because you are the father, I am expecting the child to be useless as well, but then again, your wife will, with enough time, be stronger than me and has even higher talent in magic, thus I will check its aptitude as soon as it is born. If it has talent, then I'll let it stay alive. If not, then you know what to do.'
Remus bit his lip. If his child didn't have enough talent… then he will have to get rid of it. He knew his wife would hate it, but he was too weak to go against his sister. Even his wife didn't know about his talk with the head of the house, and if she knew, she would leave him, and he didn't want that. Unfortunately, he feared his sister too much.
"Aaaaaaahhhh!" Helena screamed, veins bulging on her forehead as the maid, Olivia, assisted her.
As the seconds passed by, Remus was getting more and more anxious, and soon enough, the baby came out, and Olivia hesitantly handed her over to Therese.
"My lady, it is a girl," she said and bowed her head as a sign of respect. Therese nodded in response and held on to the baby.
She opened her closed eyes, and what she found stunned her.
Staring at her, were wide heterochromic eyes, one a beautiful purplish blue, much like the galaxy, and the other a hypnotizing shade of gold. Both eyes were empty and blank, which she could have sworn lit in surprise for a short while, before going back to the way it was, and instead of crying, only looked around curiously. Therese was captivated, yet the dark feeling in her heart was not something she could ignore. Although not crying upon birth was an extremely unusual, if not unheard of, for a baby, she swallowed her surprise and channeled her Mana towards the child, and to her surprise, was blocked.
With her eyes wide with shock, she tried again, almost surrounding the baby with mana which would have suffocated any other newborn, but was still ineffective, and the baby didn't even look like she was having a hard time. In fact, she didn't even look like she was doing anything at all!
'This child…' She narrowed her eyes. '…is very strange.'
She adjusted her hold on the baby, and the blanket covering her head slipped, revealing soft midnight blue hair, and… two small golden horns above her forehead.
Olivia gasped silently as she fidgeted. 'Oh no…'
Therese's face contorted into a disgusted and fearful expression and she yelled towards her brother.
"You pathetic, useless waste of space! Your child…" The woman's cheeks were red with both anger and humiliation. "Your child is a demon!!!"
Helena took in a breath and stared at her daughter, who was staring back at her, in surprise. It almost looked as if she was pleasantly surprised at the sight of the golden horns.
"Get rid of it immediately! Such a disgrace!!! I will not allow this disgusting thing to live in my household." The brown-haired woman said, giving the baby to the maid and storming out of the room with a huff.
An uncomfortable silence descended upon the three. Remus gritted his teeth. Olivia gulped. Helena was frowning.
"Remus… what did she mean by…"
"It's nothing, my wife, nothing." Remus moved to hug his wife, kissing her forehead in an attempt to soothe her.
He shot Yuri a disgusted look, and this didn't go unnoticed by the said child, who rolled her eyes. The maid Olivia saw this and almost screamed when the baby looked her way. What a frightening child.
Helena chuckled. "Olivia, come, I want to see my daughter."
"Yes, Lady Helena." Olivia murmured and gave the baby to the woman, who smiled widely as she raked her eyes over her child's features. Her beautiful wide celeste and bright, golden eyes, the two tiny golden horns just above her forehead and the unusual midnight blue hair that neither she nor her husband had. As she looked at the baby, she noticed the icy, but curious look in her daughter's eyes. She was almost terrified, but then, to her surprise, the stoic baby actually giggled. She found her daughter very adorable, and hugged her to her chest.
Yuri was shocked. A hug? 'No one's ever given me one before…' The warmth emanating from her mother's body calmed her and she sighed inwardly, relaxing in her mother's comforting arms.
"Ah… Er, love, I will just take a walk around the mansion, okay?" Remus said awkwardly.
Helena nodded. Her disgust towards her husband was slowly growing, and she didn't look at him once. Remus moved to kiss her, but to his dismay (and Yuri's disbelief) Helena nuzzled her daughter's cheek. He glared at the strange child and stomped away from them slamming the door loudly upon exit.
Helena and Olivia stared at the door and sighed.
Helena stared at her daughter, who was staring at the door as well, and kissed her forehead, whispering foreign words that the baby couldn't understand. "I won't let anyone take my daughter away from me."
Although she didn't understand a single thing during the exchange, she knew that whoever that lady was, and that pathetic excuse for a man hated her, though she didn't know why. Yuri felt amused at her father's immature antics, and, with great effort, forced herself to slip her left arm out of the blanket, folding all her fingers except the middle one, just like she always did in her previous life.
Olivia and Helena stared at the gesture with confused faces.
"…?"
