"Here, the archives that you asked for, Danzo-sama." Someone handed a middle-aged man a pile of documents. The person in question was standing, overlooking a very young child with blank eyes.
The place they were in was a traditional eastern-looking dojo. As for the wooden walls, they were adorned with dragons and tigers, and at the center, behind the man himself, was a broad picture of him.
"We're done for today, Kinoe." The man announced to his young attendant. The latter was sweating but stood before nodding and dispersing in smoke.
The man sat cross-legged and received the documents from who seemed to be his subordinate.
"You can go."
After the masked man received the order, he promptly left in a swirl of wind and leaves.
The only person left in the room skimmed over the documents patiently.
"As expected from the son of the White Fang. Who is he attached to?" He seemed to be asking no one in particular but a voice replied:
"He's currently followed closely by a few ANBU. Sir Hokage seems to have taken quite the interest in the child."
"He is probably worried after what happened to his foolish father. I'll let him have that one, then." The man commented before resuming with his reading. A quarter of an hour went by before he paused on a file with a name:
"Hibari GENJO."
"How about this youngster?"
"There's been no movement, sir." The voice answered.
"Keep an eye on him in and report anything compelling." He ordered, then left after opening the curtain door.
"Yes."
.....
Another month had passed,
It had already been two months since I entered the game. I was currently sparring with Taira. The young Uchiha and I would train every afternoon after the academy bells rang, and he made decent progress. Not anywhere enough to prove to be threatening, but I estimated his ability to be close to the elite genin level.
His recovery wasn't remarkable, but his skills seemed to pick up whenever he was irritated. I don't think it would be too long before he naturally awakens his Sharingan. In the original series, a lot of the black-haired clansmen were not introduced, but he appeared to belong to the extra gifted.
I would have to leave the game for dinner with my family after this session, however. There had been no movement in my room, according to Lightning. But I estimated that my sister would have stopped her training.

I could run for 22 kilometers and repeat 300 pushups with no strain by now. My STATUS and EXPERTISE looked like this:

My progress had slowed down considerably after I reached the chunin level. That even with my talent for strength and vigor-related tasks.
What I was most worried about were my smarts and creativity. Those two stats looked dull, but they were related to senses such as sight or audition. I would need them to be decent if I wanted to survive in a world of assassins.
In that very sense, Taira happened to be my natural counterpart and complement. He wasn't very sturdy, but perhaps because of his Sharingan heritage, he had good acumen. I just wished the two of us would be put in a team together when the time came. The probabilities for this happening were small because we were both young males that excelled in class.
I would probably have the chance to meet the rest of the cast at the end of next month because it was the trimestrial evaluation. First-year students from all classes would have to compete with each other and get graded.
"You're too slow." I waved at Taira after I shifted positions with a nearby piece of wood I had thrown previously. The INVENTORY function allowed me to use the substitution jutsu somewhat proficiently for a genin.
"Where do you keep getting all that wood? So irritating!" Taira complained before chasing after me.
We continued in this way for forty minutes before he was exhausted and sat down. When I trained with Taira, we focused on movement and speed rather than pure brawling. He wasn't the robust type, so training this way helped both of us:
He was working on stamina and determination while I was training my senses and Ninjutsu.
Lee was able to do a thousand pushups and run around the village for warm-ups. I still had a long way to go concerning my energy, but I couldn't just focus on the areas I was talented. Maybe except for Genjutsu and Fuinjutsu.
I never had the chance to contact seals, but I noticed how bad I was at creating illusions at the academy. Though, I couldn't care as long as dispelling them wasn't a problem.
For that to be the case, I would need better chakra control. My talents in this area were average. Not bad, just ordinary.
"Let's stop for today, good work." I smiled at my new partner and said.
"You could have gone easier on me. You bastard." The Uchiha was sprawled on the grass, recuperating. We had warmed up to each other a bit after two months.
"That's not my fault if you can't keep up," I replied, to which the later spat in disdain.
"When I get my Sharingan, you're done for."
"Sure." I didn't elaborate. The chakra needed to use the Sharingan was high. A kid like Taira wouldn't be able to use it very long. Also, the Sharingan only enhanced senses and body control. Even if he could see my moves, he wouldn't be able to react in time if he was too slow.
Not that the boy could parry my blows with his current strength...
When we finished, I decided that I would also need to make a trip to the Konoha library when I got back from the real world. If I could learn a few other basic jutsu, it would take my mind off my recent training slump.
I still had yet to learn the Henge and the Bunshin jutsus. And those two, along with the Kawarimi, were the only three ninjutsus required to master in the academy.
