"I'm really curious about something." Cara's gaze remained fixed on the hooded Adrian as she spoke, her voice filled with intrigue. "I'm really curious about something." she repeated her words again, hinting at the burning questions swirling in her mind.
"Cara, you haven't picked your profession yet, right?" I quickly changed the topic, hoping that Cara's interest in Mr. Adrian would shift.
'...'
'...'
'Should I kill these two noisy idiots?'
'What the hell am I thinking? I really need to find an alchemist quickly and ask about a potion that can calm one's mind. Like the potion that Edward gave me. I'll wander around Hatar looking for it once we get there.'
The carriage came to a halt, disrupting Adrian's thoughts and the two's conversation. As the carriage stopped, Nash and Cara looked at each other with puzzled expressions before exchanging a knowing glance. "Looks like the vanguard team has encountered something." Cara nodded, her curiosity about Adrian still lingering in her mind.
"I'll check what's happening, Adrian said, walking beside the carriage to see what's happening at the front. He could hear the faint sounds of commotion and raised voices ahead. As he approached the vanguard team, he noticed a huge Ogre blocking the path.
The team members were engaged in a fierce battle, their weapons clashing against the ogre. Adrian quickly assessed the situation and noticed that the Ogre was already showing signs of fatigue and weakness. With each strike, the team members seemed to be gaining an upper hand. Sensing victory was near, Adrian had gone back to the rear of the carriage.
"What happened?"
"It's nothing. Just an Early D ranked, one-eyed ogre, blocking the path. The vanguard team is already taking care of it."
"Let's just wait for a few minutes, and we'll be able to continue on."
After waiting for a few minutes, the carriage started moving again, and Adrian could see the vanguard team emerging victorious. The ogre lay defeated on the ground, its eye missing.

'An eye of a one-eyed Ogre can be sold for a hefty sum. It's a valuable item on the market due to its potential uses in various potions. Adventurers and hunters often seek out such trophies to earn some extra silver.'
"It looks like they've extracted the eye. They can sell it at the association or marketplace for 12 silvers." Nash spoke to Cara, relaying the information about the valuable one-eyed Ogre's eye.
"You're knowledgeable about such things."
"Of course, My profession is Monster Hunter."
"Can you tell me more about the monsters that you have hunted?" Nash nodded, a glint of excitement in his eyes. "Sure."
Gazing at the two, I couldn't help but think that the shameless chatterbox has finally found his soul mate.
Throughout our journey, Nash and Cara continued to share stories and information about the various monsters they had encountered. Nash's passion for his profession was evident in the way he animatedly described each battle and victory. Cara, on the other hand, listened intently, occasionally interjecting with her own insights and experiences. It was clear that their shared interest in monster hunting had forged a friendship between them.
As the night settled in, The carriage stopped, and we began to unload our supplies to build our camp. Working together, we set up tents and started a fire for warmth and cooking. Nash and Cara took charge of finding the best location for the camp, ensuring it was secure and hidden from any potential dangers. With their expertise, we felt safe knowing they had chosen a spot that would provide us with the best vantage point. As the camp came together, we all gathered around the fire, ready to eat after a long day of traveling.
Following a satisfying dinner, the merchant assigns everyone to be on the lookout, grouping everyone by two.
As the shameless chatterbox bid farewell to Cara, we went ahead to guard the camp. We were assigned to guard the camp for the first three hours. As we settled into our positions, we scanned the surrounding area for any signs of danger. The night was quiet, with only the crackling of the fire breaking the silence.
'They're all asleep now.'
"Hey, Nash, I'm going to leave for a minute." Nash nodded, his eyes still fixed on the dark forest. "Sure, just be quick, Mr.Adrian." he replied. As Adrian disappeared into the shadows.
[One with shadows], I muttered as I disappeared into the darkness.
I couldn't shake the feeling of being watched as I walked through the dark forest with only the light of the moon to guide me. The rustling of leaves and distant hoots of owls added to the eerie atmosphere, making me quicken my pace.
Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, I stumbled upon a small pond hidden within the depths of the forest. The moon's reflection shimmered on the water's surface, casting an ethereal glow. I couldn't help but feel a sense of tranquility wash over me as I stood there, taking in the sight before me. It was as if this pond was a secret oasis, untouched by time and civilization.
In the middle of the pond, A small island can be seen, covered in lush greenery and vibrant flowers. It seemed like a magical sanctuary, inviting me to explore its hidden wonders.
I attuned myself to the wind element and controlled the wind in my surroundings to help me glide above the water on my way to the middle of the island.
As I stepped onto the island, I noticed a statue of an angel holding a seemingly ancient book.
'This place gave me a sense of peace and tranquility.'
'The book is still here.'
The memories flooded back as I gazed at the statue. In the original timeline, I always came here to calm my mind if something was troubling me. A close friend of mine brought me to this place on the original timeline when I first killed a person and couldn't sleep for days.
'The book is still here. It looks like she hasn't found this place yet.'
As I slowly made my way into the statue, I heard a voice.
