"Where have you been all this time, Young Master Edward? Me and the baron have been worried sick about you, and I've searched the entire town again and again." Captain Zach Looked exhausted as he spoke, his voice tinged with relief.
"Young master, please inform me next time if you are planning on doing that disappearing act again."
"You don't need to worry, Captain Zach. I just went around outside of the town to get some fresh air and admire the bountiful plains." Edward reassured Captain Zach with a warm smile.
"I apologize for causing you and the baron any trouble. I understand the importance of communication and will make sure to inform you beforehand in the future."
Seemingly satisfied by his young master's answer, Captain Zach nodded and said. "The girl that you've saved is awake now, young master Edward."
"You don't need to use formalities if it's just both of us, Captain Zach..."
"We have known each other ever since I was a kid. And, you're like my uncle, you know." Edward replied with a chuckle.
"I'm glad to hear that she's awake. I would like to speak with her and make sure she's doing well. Please lead me into her room." Captain Zach smiled warmly at Edward's words.
"You've grown into a fine young man, Edward." Captain Zach turns around and says with a smile." I have always treated you like my own kid." He gestured for Edward to follow him down the hallway towards the girl's room.
Arriving in front of a luxurious door with intricate carvings, Captain Zach paused and turned to Edward. "She's been through a lot of shock, And she refuses to talk with anyone."
As Captain Zach opened the door, revealing a softly lit room, Edward took a step inside.
The room was adorned with plush furniture and delicate artwork, creating an atmosphere of comfort and tranquility.
Edward caught a glimpse of the girl sitting beside the window, seemingly lost in her own thoughts.
"How are you feeling?" Edward asked softly, approaching her with caution.
The girl looked up, her eyes filled with sadness and uncertainty.
Looking at the girl, Edward found the girl mesmerizing with her long, flowing hair and delicate features.
'I can't even recognize her. The maids certainly did a good job taking care of her during her recovery.' Edward thought to himself.
If you encounter this story on Amazon, note that it's taken without permission from the author. Report it.
He wondered if she remembered him at all. Edward hesitated for a moment before deciding to introduce himself. "I am Edward Seymour."
The girl's eyes widened slightly as she processed his words, but she remained silent. Edward could sense her apprehension and understood that gaining her trust would take time.
Edward smiled at her and said. "I'll leave for a moment. If you need anything, just call the maids or shout the name Zach." As Edward turned to leave, the girl suddenly spoke.
"Amelia... that's my name, and I'm really grateful to you for saving me." Edward turned back towards Amelia, a warm smile can be seen spreading across her face. "Amelia, it's a pleasure to meet you." he replied sincerely.

After an arduous navigation inside the forest, Adrian finally found his way out. He emerged from the dense forest, and seeing the sight of open space and sunlight felt refreshing to him after being surrounded by trees for what seemed like hours.
Adrian retrieved some medicinal leaves from his ring and slowly removed the cloth from his wound. He applied the leaves to his wound, removed the torn-out cloth that he had been wearing, and quickly wrapped it around his shoulders.
'I need to find an upperwear.' Adrian thought to himself after seeing his naked upper body. Scanning his surroundings, Adrian found a road that had horse carriage tracks. He decided to follow the road in hopes of finding a nearby village or settlement where he could find the necessary supplies.
As he walked along the road, Adrian opened his system.

I already qualify for the sorcerer's profession. Since I mastered the four basic elements on the original timeline.
My mana control and spell-casting abilities are already of high ranker.
However I still lack the mana for the necessary requirements, and the 24-hour mana penalty that I received is the only one that is stopping me from acquiring a profession.
Professions are necessary for someone to rank up to the D rank. Some people only bother to do the pre-requisites and the requirements when they are already at the peak of E rank and ready to rank up to D rank.
However, I believe that acquiring a profession earlier would give me an advantage in my journey. By obtaining a profession sooner, I can be confident enough to fight an established D-ranker.
'I am fortunate to have won that fight against The guild master of the Iron Blood Guild. If he had not taken it easy on me from the start because of his desire to break my will and recruit me, I may have already been dead.'
'If he had taken the fight seriously and not let himself be consumed by his emotions, I would never have had the chance to kill him.' Adrian shook his head repeatedly, recalling his actions earlier.
'I was really out of my mind at that time.' Adrian couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions as he reflected on the fight.
Despite his victory, he couldn't shake the realization that it was only due to the guild master's miscalculations and emotional state. It was truly a humbling reminder of how close he had come to losing his life.
'I need to rush acquiring a profession to be ready for the dangers ahead of me.'
