Now, before we move on to Volume II, I figured it was time to do something fun!!!

Greetings, Travelers!
(Travelers now — find out why in B2 - Chapter 1, coming out later on Royal Road)
As promised, we're launching book 2 with an interactive feature!
You, the reader, can be a part of the story!
Yes, that's right. It's not just your characters, but you guys who love to comment on Patreon, Discord, Royal Road, or Scribble Hub can be written into the story thanks to FORUM, an event that will span the entire 2nd volume, featuring an omake-style section that will appear at the end of most chapters.
----------------------------------------
Here's how it works:
1. A new FORUM channel will be added to our Discord server today. It'll be a closed channel to avoid cluttering, and will only open on days a scenario is given to participants.
2. A forum topic — what we'll call a SCENARIO — will be provided on scheduled days for two purposes:
a. Purpose 1: A scenario that will provide an advanced scene from a novel chapter before its scheduled release (usually 12 to 24 hours before).
b. Purpose 2: A scenario using the previous chapter as the main topic.
3. A set number of participants of FORUM will discuss the scenario on the FORUM channel — and their discussion will be added verbatim into the chapter.
a. For Purpose 1, FORUM content will arrive at the end of the chapter.
b. For Purpose 2, FORUM content could come at the start of the chapter.
4. Here's the TWIST — participants should write their comments as if they're fictional netizens, players, or Loomtube viewers who become fans of the game.
Example:
A$TS: The new game's popping off. Have you seen the trailer?
Blake: VR one right? Looks effing epic man!
A$T$: I'm excited dude, idek if I can afford it!
Stolen content warning: this tale belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences elsewhere.
Chark: Can't really say anything until the release tbh, but it looks promising!
G.D.: @AsteriusDaemon, check this out!
5. We won't be able to put every participant's comments in the FORUM section of a chapter. So, we will select a limited number of participants on the day a scenario arrives. However, to give everyone a chance to be part of this event, the Discord server team will always include registered participants who haven't been featured yet along with a few who are proven to create fun material for us.
6. So, let's discuss posting rules:
* Follow server rules.
* Keep your posts/submissions limited to the scenario.
* Do not use any information available to you as a reader that is not directly presented in the scenario.
* Do not make excessively long posts. It's so everyone's comments can fit in.
* Because it needs to be said, we will not allow cursing, bigotry, racism, or abusive comments in the event.
* Be nice, be kind, and if you really think going negative can work (because debate and argument do happen in an actual forum) then do it tactfully and without offending other participants.
7. Not everything written in the FORUM channel will be added to a chapter. We will select the most interesting interactions. They can be funny ones, a serious discord, or even a fan chat. Everything's possible!
8. Participants who get featured in the chapter will be credited in the post-author notes of a chapter. We'll also be working on custom Discord badges or stickers for participants of FORUM. More on that in the future.
9. So, how do you become a participant — it's easy-peasy.
* Join the Discord Server. LINK: https://discord.gg/8t63XqG4rr
* When prompted during the joining, select 'Forum Participant' as one of your ROLES.
* Readers already on Discord, message me or @AsteriusDemon on the TGTES General Channel if you want the role too.
* Your Discord server name will be used for FORUM so make sure to change it to the one you want featured in the story.
* That's it.
* When a scenario becomes available, we'll select participants with the 'Forum Participant' role on Discord and inform them beforehand so they'll be available once FORUM is open.
10. Don't feel pressured to write something witty. Just have fun with it. We are. The point of this is to show our readers love while also making the world of Aarde feel more real and alive.
Finally, you have my heartfelt gratitude for continuing to read the story, and I thank you in advance for participating in our latest event.
I look forward to bringing you, yourself, and yours to life with the written word.
To more TGTES and more fun in Aarde!
Warmest regards,
G.D. Cruz
P.S.
G.D.: @AsteriusDaemon, as our server's main moderator, got any words to share?
Asterius Daemon: Since I have somehow stumbled into the role (as much as I insist that putting me in a position of power is a mistake) I will try my best to help. If there are any server-related issues, feel free to contact me any time. If it's a story thing and our dear ol' author isn't around, I will try to help. Happy to be here, see ya around.
G.D.: Cool, cool, but what about the event?
Asterius Daemon: Right... And on the event, since these were inspired by old-school forums, I'd appreciate it if y'all followed a general theme along those lines. A couple of online friends having fun, chatting, discussing stuff.
(See what we just did there? ;P)
