Chapter 3: The random destroyed village of housing site.

Part 1:

It was 8:00 PM, January 5th, 2199. Inside the Lakay Corporation's Marine base, the mood was relaxed. The crew had just returned from a successful mission where they apprehended Corporal Samuel, securing another victory under their belts. For now, the team was scattered in their off-duty activities, winding down for the evening.

In the base's common room, four marines sat sprawled across couches and chairs, their eyes glued to the massive floating 3D TV. They all wore comically oversized 3D glasses, engrossed in the latest episode of some over-the-top, futuristic action series.

Pvt Richard leaned forward, munching on space popcorn as he looked over at Captain James.

Pvt Richard: (Grinning) Hey Captain, why is it every time a new segment starts in this series, we gotta wear these ridiculous 3D glasses? I mean, c'mon—

Capt James didn't even bother looking away from the screen, waving his hand dismissively.

Capt James: (Deadpan) Because we're too OP, Richard. And because it looks cool. Duh.

OP=OVER POWERED.

Richard snickered, adjusting his glasses as a giant robot on-screen exploded in a blaze of bright neon lights. At that exact moment, Sgt Thomas entered the room, taking in the sight of his comrades lounging around like brain-fried zombies.

Sgt Thomas: (Shaking his head) Da hell is wrong with y'all? I step in here, and Nikolas and Wyatt look like they've been killed and brought back to life ten times over just sitting' through this nonsense. Y'all seriously need some therapists, 'cause I swear, your brains gotta be gooey as hell right now. Except Richard, of course.

He jabbed a thumb in Richard's direction, who was still laughing at the absurdity of it all.

Pvt Richard: (Grinning) You're damn right, Sergeant.

Capt James: (Rolling his eyes) Fine, fine! I'll turn off the floating TV. Geez, didn't know we had a media critic in the house.

James reached for the remote, reluctantly turning the screen off as the characters on the show launched into yet another high-speed chase involving flying motorcycles and plasma blasters. The screen flickered and died, leaving a weirdly empty silence.

Capt James: (Turning to the others) By the way... where the hell is Donald?

Meanwhile, down the hall, Lieutenant Donald was in his private quarters, staring intently at a glowing holographic screen. He'd been busy gathering intel on a new case that had come across their radar: a mysteriously destroyed village in Kentucky, ominously named "Housing Site." He tapped his chin thoughtfully as he scrolled through the footage of the wreckage.

Lt Donald: (Muttering) Hmm... interesting. Looks like I'll need to take a team out there tomorrow. Can't let this one slide.

Back in the common room, Richard was still trying to justify the show they'd been watching.

Pvt Richard: (To Sgt Thomas) Look, Sergeant, I know this show's kinda weird and all, but you gotta admit—there's something funny about it. Right, Nikolas?

Spec Nikolas, who had been slouched in his chair like a dead man, suddenly jerked upright, his head lolling to one side.

Spec Nikolas: (Groaning) Ask Wyatt. Dude's a sprang head. He'll tell you if it's funny.

Corporal Wyatt, lounging lazily with his arms behind his head, slowly turned his head toward Nikolas, his voice low and menacing.

Corporal Wyatt: (Slowly) Nikolas... I'm gonna give you exactly half a minute to run as fast as you can... before I catch your sorry ass.

Nikolas's eyes widened beneath his mask in horror as Wyatt's massive frame unfolded from the couch like a hunting lion. Spec Nikolas jumped to his feet in a flash, backing toward the door.

Spec Nikolas: (Nervously) Oh shit, I gotta go fast!

Without missing a beat, Nikolas shot out of the room, his legs pumping like Sonic the Hedgehog. Wyatt, not one to be outdone, launched himself after Nikolas in hot pursuit, his long strides making him look like some kind of frog-legged superhuman.

Lieutenant Donald entered the room just in time to watch the two men zoom past him at breakneck speed. He barely batted an eye.

Lt Donald: (Dryly) Nikolas being Nikolas, I see.

He turned his attention to the remaining marines.

Lt Donald: Alright, James, Thomas, Richard—we've got a big case on our hands. There's a destroyed village up in Kentucky, goes by the name of Housing Site. No survivors, no explanations. We need to investigate ASAP.

Capt James stretched his arms behind his head, letting out an exaggerated yawn.

Capt James: Oh, really? Well, that sounds fun and all, but we'll check it out tomorrow. Tatsumaki, Alice, and Beatrice are coming with us. They're good at identifying weapon signatures and figuring out where the attacks came from. Could be useful.

Lt Donald: (Nodding) Understood. But I want everyone sharp. We don't know what we're walking into, and I'm not taking any chances. We move at dawn.

Private richard, decided to mention the show once again.

Pvt Richard: (Grinning) So, we're all gonna sleep now? Or are we pulling an all-nighter with that show? 'Cause I'm down for either.

Capt James: (Groaning) Dude, the TV's off. Go to bed before I stuff these 3D glasses down your throat.

Sgt Thomas, still shaking his head, stood up, clearly done with the room's antics for the night.

Sgt Thomas: I swear, y'all are more messed up than that village we're gonna investigate. Don't know what's scarier—this crew or the case.

As the room cleared out, Lieutenant Donald stayed behind for a moment, his gaze lingering on the screen that still displayed the intel from the village.

Lt Donald: (Muttering to himself) Destroyed village... no explanation... something's not right here.

He clicked off the hologram and walked toward the barracks, the quiet tension of the upcoming mission hanging in the air.

Part 2

It was an early morning in the Lakay Corporation's Marine base, January 6th, 2199. The crew had awoken at the ungodly hour of 5:00 AM, groggy but driven by routine. They showered, geared up, and gathered in the mess hall for a quick breakfast. The scent of stale coffee and instant cereal filled the air.

In the hallway, Specialist Nikolas hung upside down from a ceiling pipe like a depressed bat, his voice low and defeated.

Spec Nikolas: (Sighing) I wasn't fast enough...

Spec Takeda, who was adjusting his helmet, passed by and couldn't help but laugh.

Spec Takeda: (in Japanese) Ha! You really thought you were Sonic, huh? Should've known Wyatt would catch you. You're fast, but not that fast.

Sergeant Thomas joined the growing crowd in the hall, chuckling as he took in the scene of Nikolas's self-pity.

Sergeant Thomas: ey, Nikolas looks like Wyatt really did catch you slacking huh you twit. Serves you right.

Nikolas groaned, slowly lowering himself back to the floor as the others continued to rib him. His body felt sore from the night before, and Wyatt's relentless pursuit had left him winded and more than a little humiliated. The rest of the crew found it all too amusing.

Meanwhile, Lieutenant Donald was already in the garage, prepping the armoured vehicle for their mission to investigate the destroyed village known as Housing Site. He checked the fuel gauge, gave the tires a kick, and ensured all systems were operational. When he spotted Captain James approaching, he gave a quick nod.

Lt Donald: Alright captain the armoured vehicle is ready, we should head out to housing site.

Capt James: Alright let's go Thomas, Richard, Alice, Beatrice and tatsumaki, Gear up.

They had left to go see what in the world could have done this, I will give you one good guess who did it. A few moments later they had arrived to the remains of the village named housing site, it seemed like its reactor exploded sending out power surges across the buildings systems.

The team gathered their equipment, loaded up into the vehicle, and set off. There was a strange tension in the air—Housing Site wasn't far, but the reports they'd gotten were disturbing. The village had been wiped out, and no one knew why.

A few moments later, they arrived at the remains of the village. The air was still heavy with heat, though the fires had long since burned out. What was once a peaceful settlement was now a smoldering wasteland. The ground was scorched, with blackened craters and chunks of melted buildings littering the area. The central reactor, which had once powered the entire village, had been obliterated. Power surges from the explosion had fried the entire electrical grid, and the air still buzzed with residual energy. As they stepped out of the vehicle, they activated their heat-resistant shields. The area was still too hot to traverse without protection. The heat shimmered off the ground, creating an eerie mirage-like effect, distorting the shapes of the ruins.

Lt Donald: (Scanning the area with his visor) It looks like a reactor meltdown caused the initial explosion, but... there's more here. Something deliberate.

Donald moved ahead, eyes darting around for any signs of life or activity. His visor picked up faint heat signatures—footprints, leading up a hill. He squinted as he looked toward the top, where a small tower stood. He zoomed in with his visor.

Lt Donald: Someone was up there. Probably scouting the area with binoculars.

While Donald examined the higher ground, Alice and Tatsumaki spread out to scan the perimeter of the village, searching for vehicle tracks or any other signs of recent movement.

Spec Alice: No vehicle marks so far. Everything's either burnt up or buried under ash.

Spec Tatsumaki: (Kneeling to inspect the ground) Wait... over here. I found tire marks, faint, but they're fresh. Whoever was here had a 4-wheeler, and they headed west, into the forest.

At the center of the village, Captain James and Richard stood over a large crater where the reactor had once been. It was still smoldering, with ash and dried blood surrounding it. As they examined the damage, something didn't sit right with James.

Capt James: (scanning the area with his visor) It looks like a satellite beam hit this village and it also seems like it hit the reactor blowing it all up, I count three areas where it hit which is why the ground is all charred. Alright then so with this what we are going to do, is send in marines of the cover up department to write this off as a satellite beam accident these footprints could very much be the people that where walking around. Further along the way more investigations shall be done.

Lieutenant Donald grappled towards the captain and spoke

Lt Donald: No sir, look someone left a magazine in that tower over there, they were looking for something which is why they blasted this area and even had weapons to dispose of the marines that were guarding this village.

Pvt Richard: He is right you see in that crater and object was dugged up in the middle, so the trinity came looking for whatever was underneath the ground and took it. Which can explain why they used the satellite to dig the area but it also hit the reactor blowing up the village entirely and causing havoc.

Capt James: alright I understand, now it all makes sense now. Alright this is what we are going to do, ah yes tatsumaki?

The 5ft ,5in woman that was Japanese named tatsumaki had stepped forward to say something

Spec tatsumaki: (in Japanese) captain a 4-wheeler vehicle had come from west of here and went into the forest over there should we go investigate where it went.

James shook his head, tapping his comm to relay the intel to the commander.

Capt James: No, not now, right now I got to send this information to the commander. He is the wisest one to talk to about this incident/attack.

Lt Donald: Understood, let's head back to base.

The team made their way back to base, the atmosphere much more tense than before. They had found clues but no concrete answers, and the feeling that they were being watched lingered in the air. A few moments later they were back at the base but they had to wait till the captain came back from his room to tell them what's going to happen next.

Capt James: Alright everyone, the commander said to investigate the forest and he also said to get information from whoever is there apparently a base is there. So, we might have our questions answered. Alright Donald, Tatsumaki, Nikolas, Richard and of course Chizuru you coming with me, this might be bad if only four of us go, we don't want another secret lab incident to happen again do we.

Pvt Richard: No sir we don't.

Capt James: Wyatt, Thomas, Takeda and Hui-jin stay here and also tell Beatrice, jasmine, Sarah, akemi and lastly Alice that their clothes have arrived.

Moments after this dialogue they had been traveling through the forest till they found a secret path that their armoured vehicle had scanned.

Spec Chizuru: Captain, the scanners are picking up something—a hidden path. Leads right to what looks like a door or gate.

They followed the path until they came across a massive metal door embedded into the side of a hill, heavily camouflaged but not well enough to escape their WGH (Waist Grappling hook) gear. They grappled into the trees, securing a vantage point above the entrance. From their elevated position, they could see it all.

Spec Chizuru: (in Japanese) Captain, this base... it's not just a hideout. It's a full-on construction site. They're building vehicles, weapons, and all kinds of gadgets down there. And it's heavily guarded. Elite marines from the Trinity are posted here. There's probably a captain running the operation

Capt James: so, it seems. Alright let's split up tatsumaki you're with me and the lieutenant. Richard and Nikolas you're with chizuru.

Pvt Richard: how did the commander know there was a base here?

Capt James: Samuel talked buts that's all he said.

Pvt Richard: oh, that's explains it, also why haven't I seen the commander back at the compound and Samuel was taken where?

Capt James: the commander is a busy man Richard and as for where they took him is at a prison camp of ours east from here, it is a very well protected military base.

Pvt Richard: yeah, I was guessing he would have been sent to a place such as that, but he has powers how shall you guys nullify that.

Capt James: Takeda made something special for Samuel, let's just say he tries anything funny he is going to be a mummy but unrecognizable and possibly just a pile of ash.

Pvt Richard: (grimacing) I see, anyway sir, let's get back to our mission.

Part 3

The team split into two groups, Captain James, Lt. Donald, and Tatsumaki veering to the left, while Private Richard, Specialist Chizuru, and Specialist Nikolas went the other way. The evening was still and tense, broken only by the distant hum of machinery from the base. The mission was simple: infiltrate, gather intel, and, if necessary, destroy everything. But things rarely stayed that simple.

The base sprawled out beneath them, larger than anticipated. From their vantage points, they could see various marines patrolling the area—many of them marked with the distinct insignias of the Royal Guards. That was troubling. The presence of Royal Guards meant a high-ranking officer was inside the base, someone dangerous, someone they couldn't afford to leave behind.

Nikolas's voice came through Richard's earpiece, tense but quiet.

Spec Nikolas: Sir, those are Royal Marines... This is bad.

Before Richard could respond, Lt. Donald's calm, commanding voice cut in over comms.

Lt. Donald: Keep calm, soldier. We're not here to panic. We're here to get that information and blow this place up. Focus. We'll make it out of here, but only if you keep your composure, understood?

Spec Nikolas: Yes, sir. I understand.

They grappled along the walls and climbed it Richard knew all about stealth from playing video games and up ahead, Richard spotted the first target—a sniper perched atop the tower, scanning the somewhat dark perimeter. With a quick hand signal, Richard motioned for Chizuru and Nikolas to follow. In one swift move, he grappled onto the ledge and pulled himself up, closing the gap between him and the sniper in an instant. His knife flashed once, clean and precise, before the sniper slumped forward, lifeless. Chizuru and Nikolas took out their targets just as efficiently, each assassinating their respective guards. At the other side the captain and the other two had done the same, they grappled down and hid around the buildings for cover and a lot of marines where present in the base royal guards were here as well that is not good, a higher up most be in the base.

The team regrouped at the base's perimeter, where the air was thick with tension. They could hear the activity from inside the base—heavy machinery, the chatter of soldiers, and the unmistakable sound of weapons being loaded.

Spec Chizuru: (in Japanese) It's packed in there, sir. Royal Marines, heavy artillery...

Richard and the rest were sneaking around finding out a way inside the main room where a door opened and so they ducked behind a wall, and listening closely. A high-ranking marine come out of it and he was the infamous sergeant mosses Strickland a high bounty marine within the lakay corporation of 50 million for his dead body alone.

Sergeant mosses: Alright everyone keep on working, once we make the cloning device the lakay core will crumble to dust and be burnt away just like what benedict did to that village. So let us finish our work so we can begin to drink.

Nikolas's breath hitched, his grip tightening on his rifle. The mention of the destruction of the village and the person who did it sent a wave of anger through the squad. The name benedict has been heard as the one responsible for the obliteration of entire villages and lakay squads and platoons, and now Strickland was talking about doing the same.

Spec Nikolas: chizuru did you hear that.

spec chizuru: (in Japanese) yeah.

They started to move closer within the building and using their magnetic gloves they stayed on the walls like bugs and they crawled their way inside. While inside they moved to the mega computer once they got in there, Lines of code scrolled across the screen as Richard hacked into the system, pulling up schematics, logs, and the blueprints of the cloning device. It was all there. Everything they needed.

he found it.

Pvt Richard: Chizuru, I've got the files. It's all here—the cloning device, the village destruction... everything. I've downloaded it all to the drive. We should leave now. Blowing this place up is now our main task.

Unauthorized content usage: if you discover this narrative on Amazon, report the violation.

Spec chizuru: Agreed! Right let's get out here and regroup-

Suddenly, the doors slammed shut, and a figure stepped out from the shadows, blocking their exit.

Sergeant mosses: you two aren't getting out of here alive, why because I am here. If you want to get out, you have to get passed me first.

Sergeant Strickland stood tall, arms crossed, his eyes gleaming with cruel amusement. He wasn't just any marine—his reputation for brutal efficiency in combat preceded him. The bounty on his head was enough to make anyone wary, but Richard didn't flinch.

Spec Nikolas: yeah, whatever cliché ass bozo.

Richard chuckled at the remark, but the tension remained. Strickland's smirk didn't waver as he stood in the middle of the room, seemingly unbothered by the three soldiers who had infiltrated his base. As they squared off, a sudden explosion rocked the room. The wall to their right collapsed, sending debris flying as Captain James was hurled into the room, crashing through furniture. Behind him stood a woman with robotic arms, each arm extending from her back and connected by what seemed to be neural links from the base of her skull. The woman grinned maliciously as she flexed her mechanical limbs, their servos whirring with terrifying precision.

Lieutenant Donald and Tatsumaki followed behind, their weapons drawn, eyes darting across the room as they quickly sized up the new threats.

Spec Nikolas: Captain! Are you alright?

James groaned, pushing himself up, his armor dented from the impact. Sergeant Strickland cracked his knuckles, stepping forward.

Sergeant Strickland: Guess this just got more interesting. Two birds, one stone.

It was time to battle.

The firefight began instantly marines where getting shot left and right, Marines from Strickland's side poured into the room, guns blazing. Richard and Chizuru ducked behind cover, returning fire, while Nickolas and James found themselves pinned near the rubble.

The air was thick with smoke and gunfire, but amidst the chaos, Richard felt something stir deep inside him. It was as if his instincts had sharpened. His adrenaline surged, but there was something else—his Ki—an energy he had felt but never truly harnessed until now. Richard all of a sudden produced a shield which blocked the bullets and he also was able to send it back towards the marines, he then dashed and took chizuru, captain James and Nikolas to the roof top of the building.

Richard started to throw his Ki blasts around the fuel canisters to cause environmental destruction to the trinity base he then began to shoot his assault rifle which looks like his gauntlet gives them a power up, because of his ki coating it making it be able penetrate anything and it also amplifies the damage. He then pulled out his swords and started to cut his enemy's down and they were too slow to react to his movements, he was just too fast for them.

while the captain and Nikolas standing back-to-back started to absolutely destroy their enemy's as well. Back inside, the woman with the robotic arms had set her sights on Lieutenant Donald and Tatsumaki, who were pinned down by her relentless onslaught. Her mechanical limbs moved with deadly precision, smashing through walls and throwing debris across the room.

Lt Donald: We need to take her down, now!

Tatsumaki nodded, quickly moving to flank her, but the woman anticipated the move. With a flick of her arm, one of the mechanical limbs extended, grabbing Tatsumaki and slamming her into a wall. Tatsumaki groaned in pain as she tried to recover, but the woman wasn't done. She raised another arm, ready to crush her. Before the final blow could land, Lieutenant Donald threw a grenade, the explosion staggering the woman just long enough for Tatsumaki to roll free.

Lt Donald: I've got you covered!

As the base continued to collapse around them, Sergeant Strickland eyed Richard's shiny gold and grey with a blue outline gauntlet with a predatory grin.

Sergeant mosses: I'm coming for you young man, you and the shiny piece of glove which is on your right hand. Then I'll rip of your head.

Part 4

Richard had just stepped into the chaos of hell itself. Bullets whizzed by, some grazing the walls while others ricocheted off the debris, the air thick with smoke and gunpowder. But thanks to his gauntlet, he was no ordinary soldier—he was a force of nature. With each movement, he dodged bullets with an agility that defied belief, a dance of life and death amidst the chaos. He unleashed a barrage of firepower, dual-wielding two assault rifles, the weapons seemingly weightless in his hands.

He even shoved one of his swords into his mouth, ready for close combat. Whenever an enemy approached, he would slash with deadly precision, the glint of steel flashing as he struck. The sight was mesmerizing—a whirlwind of destruction, with Richard at its center.

Meanwhile, Captain James and Specialist Nikolas held their ground, trading shots with incoming foes and working seamlessly together. Each shot they fired was calculated, each movement instinctive. The base was vast, providing ample cover, allowing them to utilize the environment to their advantage.

While the lieutenant was helping tatsumaki of team zeta he was enraged when he was shoot on the left arm, he got pissed off and yelled out loud.

Lt Donald: (enraged) AGHHHH, NOW IM PISSED!!!

Fueled by anger, he ripped a mounted turret from its stand, transforming the once stationary weapon into a deadly extension of his fury. He unleashed a torrent of gunfire, tearing through enemies like paper as he cackled maniacally. The robotic arm women had left the two marines alone after the grenade a few minutes ago and gone for the captain and Nickolas. The woman with the robotic arms on her back had returned and was right behind Nikolas

Capt James: BEHIND YOU NIKOLAS!

But it was too late. The metallic fist struck with bone-crushing force, slamming him into a nearby room. Stunned but resolute, Nikolas pulled out his swords, determined to fight back.

Spec Nikolas: Alright bitch, let's go you want an equal fight come at me!

He attempted slashing the arms but the blade wasn't sharp enough so he had to get up close and personal and try to knock her out. He gave her the three pieces with a side of flashy gestures but this woman took it like nothing and she responded with a smug look in her face.

???: My turn shorty.

She delivered a brutal robotic slap that sent Nikolas hurtling through the air. He crashed to the floor below, gasping for breath.

With a sadistic smile, she leaped down to him, pinning him beneath her heel.

???: Well, it's a shame you have to die here, you looked so cute as well, your little height compared to my tall stature. Was truly something remarkable.

she sneered, her grip tightening around his throat.

Nikolas struggled, clawing at her hands, his vision fading as he gasped for air. Just as he felt himself slipping into unconsciousness, a wall exploded behind her, and Richard burst through, delivering a devastating punch that sent her crashing into the opposite wall. Metal shards flew as her mechanical arms shattered, leaving her disoriented.

Pvt Richard: Get off him!

he growled, lifting Nikolas effortlessly, his eyes filled with determination. The half-destroyed mask stayed firm on Nikolas's face, revealing the tears streaming down his cheeks but fully revealing anything of his face.

Spec Nikolas: tha- you rich-* cough* *cough* *cough*

Pvt Richard: it's okay just stay here, I will stop this situation.

With swift precision, he tossed the unconscious woman's body over his shoulder, her heavy limbs a mere afterthought as he dashed back into the fray. Richard weaved through the chaos, using his enhanced physical attributes to swing from tree to tree, vaulting over obstacles like a predator on the hunt.

Pvt Richard: Everyone, watch your heads! I'm about to start blowing this place up!

he shouted, his voice cutting through the din of battle.

He reached the base's critical point and positioned explosives around the fuel canisters, his heart racing with anticipation. The countdown began in his mind, each tick echoing like a drumbeat of war. Richard could feel the Ki surging within him, amplifying his strength and resolve.

With a final, thunderous shout, he pressed the detonator. A deafening explosion ripped through the base, the force sending shockwaves that rocked the ground beneath their feet. Flames erupted, consuming everything in their path, as Richard leaped back to rejoin his squad, his gauntlet glowing with the remnants of his unleashed power.

As smoke and fire engulfed the base, Richard and his team emerged not yet completely out the base but, triumphant yet aware that this battle wasn't over yet.

Part 5

He threw his Ki blasts all around the trinity base hitting more fuel canisters, he then blasted the sides and also blew a hole at the huge wall's side and then yelled out loud.

Pvt Richard: EVERYONE LET'S GO! I HAVE MADE A WAY OUT FOR US SINCE THEY HAVE RELEASED AN BARRIER!

Everyone started to grapple away while the ground troops shot up in the air while covered in fog. Richard then threw the huge orb he had with him at the core causing a huge explosion inside, they all had gotten in the armoured vehicle and the driver drove away with speed as they all took a sign of relief.

All of a sudden they started to get shoot by armoured jeeps with armour piercing bullets, everyone was in danger, Richard opened the turret hatch and got in the seat and he powered up himself and started to shoot at them his amplified bullets where piercing rounds as well but with his gauntlets power the enemy jeeps were screwed they started to blow up the moment the bullets hit the engine.

A shinier jeep just pulled up carrying the sergeant, He levelled a high-velocity rocket launcher and fired. Richard's heart raced as he recalled the helicopter incident.

Pvt Richard: Not again! Not this time!

He summoned a shield just in time, the rocket exploding harmlessly above him. Mosses sprang from his jeep, a glint of malice in his eyes. He unleashed a powerful current of water that sliced through the trees, damaging one of the armored vehicles' wheels.

He summoned a shield just in time, the rocket exploding harmlessly above him. Seargeant mosses jumped out of his jeep, a glint of malice in his eyes. he unleashed a powerful current of water that sliced through the trees in the area and caused one of the armoured vehicles wheels to get badly damaged, mosses then began to shoot out water projectiles that mimicked a laser of some sort it went through many trees and were it ends, it explodes when it reaches a certain distance.

Pvt Richard: guys, this dude has water abilities and he pretty much turned himself into a sniper wielding his powers.

Lt Donald: Can you stop him?

Pvt Richard: I can give it my best shot but if I were not to comeback please continue your duty without me, dealing with water wielders is a tough task to deal with.

Spec Nickolas: Got to be quick with it so you can evade the dangerous water current projectiles.

Pvt Richard: I know, be safe guys.

Richard jumped off the armoured vehicle determined and went straight towards mosses, mosses saw Richard coming at him with speed so he turned himself into water as Richard threw his first punch, underneath him mosses appeared and uppercutted him right underneath his chin.

Richard took the punch and countered with a axe kick landing It right on top of mosses head stunning him.

Richard awakened his ki once again and landed a blow to mosses' midsection causing him to spit out blood. Mosses retaliated with a sharp water axe which he just created in an instant. He rammed the axe deep into the back of Richard causing immense pain and bleeding, mosses also knew that blood is a liquid so he placed a little bit of his water on the wound and then began to control Richards body.

Sergeant mosses: Lakay rat, you are now going to suffer a horrible faith now that I have you under my control, now please beat yourself to a pulp.

Richard wasn't able to move his body no more and began to hurt himself by punching himself over and over again incredibly hard, Richard wasn't so sure that he was going to be able to beat this guy but he knew he had to try at least or else mosses will catch up with the rest and kill them.

So, Richard channelled his inner power within and unleashed it at an all-time high freeing himself from the control of mosses whom was watching in shock as he slipped out of his palms. Richard then landed three body blows on each part of his body, as he was going to hit mosses with an uppercut he turned himself into water and landed counter strikes which caught Richard off guard.

Richard then noticed something very odd, every time mosses turned into water; a little ki orb always stayed in the middle of the water so Richard thought if he were to hit that orb, will it cause damage to mosses and turn him back into his physical form which he then can inflict critical damage to the sergeant? Mosses came back to his physical form and threw a left leg kick to catch Richard off guard but he didn't know that Richard already had sensed him, Richard dodged and landed an uppercut and then blasted mosses with his ki wave sending him flying somewhere else.

Richard focused on the small water puddle as mosses turned and then aiming his left hand's finger like a gun, shot out an air pressured attack which hit the small ki orb and that instantly brought mosses back into his physical form; Richard dashed beside him and landed a heavy right overhand and a left uppercut digging right into the liver of the sergeant. Richard released three more air pressure attacks using his eyes causing immense cramping within the body of mosses, mosses wasn't happy, not even one bit.

Sergeant mosses: FUCK! WHAT ARE YOU?! THAT FAKE ASS GAUNTLET ISNT EVEN REAL THIS IS ALL TECHNOLOGY! JUST DIE ALREADY!!!

Mosses jumped into the air and created a huge water sphere which most definitely is a bomb of some sort, he was furious because Richard had found out his weakness and now was displaying a grown man tantrum because he was figured out, and that he was getting bested by a young marine.

Pvt Richard: Getting mad now huh, just give up mosses. Turn yourself in so I don't have to do what I'm about to do!

Sergeant mosses: HELL NO! I WILL NEVER GO DOWN THAT EASY WITOUT PUTTING ON A GOOD FIGHT AND REPRESENTING MYSELF WELL AS A SERGEANT FROM THE TRINITY!

He launched the giant water sphere towards Richard but Richard was ready for this, he charged himself all the way into his current stage and dashed upwards straight into the water sphere. He punched the water sphere so hard it exploded right in front of him but as he took in the damage; he had his right hand of judgment all charged up and using all the strength he had within himself landing the critical finishing blow at mosses, breaking his jaw in an instant and knocking him out cold. Richard had done it but the explosion of the water sphere bomb was so strong it injured Richard's body and left many cuts around his body and sliced some parts of his armour.

Richard dashed backwards over and over again as he got into proximity of the armoured vehicle once again but now a marine wielding a sniper that was an 80 caliver magazine was locked at Richards head as of this moment. Richard knew if he were to get shot right now at his current state, it would mark the end of him since his ki shield/aura was down. Then the lieutenant came out the side window of the armoured vehicle with a type 52 sniper wielding 0.50 Caliver sniper rounds and spoke.

Lt Donald: They really had to give you a carrer so I can destroy it, what a pity.

And then "POW!" the muzzle went sending the big ass bullet into the sniper's head blowing his head off and letting all the brain matter fly in the air, then Richard threw an orb blowing up the last jeep that approached the armoured vehicle. Victorious and with all of them still alive they all headed back home to go and review the information that Richard had found.

Pvt Richard: I can't believe we just survived that.

Spec tatsumaki: (in Japanese) Thank you Richard for coming up with that plan to get us out of there and for stopping mosses.

Pvt Richard: it's no big deal I just planned it in my head and thought let's do this, as for mosses. I just had to dig deep for a short moment and find his weakness.

Captain James: yeah, Richard, you really did save us back there, thank you very much.

Spec chizuru: (in Japanese) I'm glad we have another power wielder in our corporation to keep us safe.

Pvt Richard: I'm glad too that I have this gauntlet, I might know much about it but I do know it's something very useful for me and the corporation. As for mosses here guys, let's make sure we put him in a room that has no cracks on the walls or holes which he can use to escape with water around the pipes that run around the building.

Everyone had reached back to the zeta base and then the marines who had just arrived from the forest saw Thomas there sitting in a chair. Sergeant Thomas had come back from a mission which he went to do before them but when they saw the look on his face looked that of a petrified man and as if he just witnessed something truly bad.

Capt James: Thomas are you ok? Did you go do a mission with the others?

Sergeant Thomas: yes..... it did not end well.

Lt Donald: what happened Thomas? Tell us!

Capt James: Also, where is Takeda??

Sergeant Thomas: he is in the infirmary getting checked up with the other rookies

Capt James: alright so tell us what happened??

Sergeant Thomas: alright then... I will tell you the whole thing.

In between part 2 and 3

The dim glow of the computer screen illuminated Henry Kruger as he stared at the words he had just typed. The weight of his actions in Kentucky hung heavily on his conscience. He pressed "send" on the email addressed to his mother, the message echoing with regret:

"Mother, forgive my actions for what had happened in Kentucky and to those people in that village"

He pushed away from the desk, feeling the weight of guilt anchor him down. Grabbing a glass of water, he stepped outside to clear his mind. Just then, Captain Benedict approached him, urgency in his voice.

Capt benedict: Henry, the admiral wants to see us in a bit. I'll call you when were ready to go.

Lt henry: Alright sir.

As he returned inside, Henry couldn't shake the feeling that another satellite digging mission awaited them.

Moments later, the team arrived at Admiral Kenneth's office. The air was thick with tension as the admiral delivered their orders.

Admiral Kenneth: hello again team phobos today I need you to go check out the village of old lake crocodile to check if there is a gem underneath the land if there is no gem come back, is that understood.

Capt benedict: yes, sir understood.

They left the room and went into the vehicles room, they got in an armoured military jeep armoured to the front with a machine gun at the back. They drove behind the village to avoid lakay soldiers since the last incident they have been on the move guarding villages from any possible danger. The Phobos team brought jetpacks with them that helped to lift themselves to the top of the wall where they took out the ground watchers up in the towers, they also brought a cloaking device with them so nobody can see them, what a brilliant idea.

Capt benedict: sergeant pat, scan the right.

Sergeant pat: (smugly) sure thing, heheh.

Capt benedict: henry, you scan the left get a clear view of the village.

Lt henry: aye, sir

Henry ascended the tower, silence surrounding him until he pounced on a sniper, his blade swiftly silencing the man with a clean thrust to the neck. He gathered the intel—negative results. Descending, he returned to Captain Benedict..

Lt Henry: Sir, it came back negative. No gem here. Has Pat returned?

Capt Benedict: No, not yet. I'm hoping—

Spec buck: Ah sir, it looks like the fool has gotten himself spotted! Look over there!

Panic surged through the ranks as they saw Pat, reckless and exposed, engaging in a firefight with a swarm of Lakay forces.

Lt Henry: Fucking Pat! Why do we keep bringing him on these missions?! We've got to get him out of there!

Capt benedict: Yeah, let's get him first, then we'll bail!

The soldiers flew into the fray, jetpacks roaring as they engaged the Lakay soldiers, precision no-scope shots ringing out, electrical bullets sparking with each hit. Specialist Marvin reached Pat, but just as he did, a bullet struck him in the side, damaging his jetpack. Both men plummeted to the ground, crashing hard.

Lt henry: SIR THIS IS BAD !!! There pushing up the stairs! It's a platoon of them, were not going to be able to survive this!

Capt benedict: Go up the wall! We are going to cloak and jump off this place!

Just as they activated their cloaks, an EMP grenade detonated nearby, disabling their equipment and plunging them into chaos.

Capt benedict: RUN!! Don't fire back! JUST RUN!!

Spec buck: C'mon Marvin! We'll make it out of here alive and-

As they fled, Buck was shot in the back of the head, collapsing lifelessly to the ground. Henry snatched up Buck's dog tags and dragged Marvin as he ran. Pat, still firing back with reckless abandon, was trying to cover their escape, but chaos reigned. Suddenly, Sergeant Thomas appeared, swinging his swords, cutting Pat's face and sending him sprawling off the wall. Thomas advanced on Captain Benedict, stabbing through his hand, igniting a brutal fistfight. All hell had broken lose they were pretty evenly match henry having no other choice made a drastic decision and threw Marvin off the wall and yelled out loud to pat.

Lt henry: PAT! CATCH MARVIN!

In one fluid motion, Henry threw Marvin to Pat, who barely managed to secure the injured man. With adrenaline pumping, Henry jumped in front of Thomas, shoving him aside as they made for the platform. Just then, Thomas grappled back up, cornering them on the edge. The captain had positioned the satellite beam right beside the reactor and then another soldier came up now and it was takeda the child of the sun. Just before they got cornered the beam hit the reactor giving them time to jump off the platform falling from a high place and using the cloak device, they went invisible and escaped. They got on top of the hill a little distant from the village and saw the devastation.

Lt Henry: SIR! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE? I THOUGHT WE WEREN'T GOING TO DO THIS AGAIN! THIS WAS FUCKING PAT'S FAULT, AND NOW WE'VE LOST BUCK TO TOP IT ALL OFF! DO YOU UNDERSTAND THE CHAOS YOU'VE CAUSED, CAPTAIN?

Capt benedict: SHUT THE FUCK UP HENRY! I JUST SAVED OUR LIVES I KNOW ITS FUCKED UP BUT WE HAD NO OTHER CHOICE THAN CAUSING THE SATTELITE BEAM TO HIT THE REACTOR! IT WAS EITHEIR US OR THEM AND IF I HADNT DONE THAT WE WOULD HAVE BEEN DEAD OR CAPTURED!

Lt henry: YEAH, BUT I WAS GONNA STUN GRENADE THEM AND WE COULD HAVE AVOIDED THAT BUT NO YOU HAD TO USE THE MOST DEVASTATING WEAPON IN YOUR FUCKING ARESENAL, HUH! WE SHOULD HAVE DIED BETTER; WE HAVE CAUSED TO MANY CATHAROPHES! WE DON'T DESERVE TO LIVE ESPECIALLY AFTER WHAT WE HAVE DONE.

Capt Benedict: HENRY IF YOU DON'T SHUT DAH FUCK UP, I WILL DEMOTE YOU AND GET YOUR ASS BEATEN BY AN HIGHER UP AND ALSO GET YOU ARESSTED FOR DEFIANCE! I AM YOUR CAPTAIN AND YOU SHOULD RESPECT MY DESCIONS!

Lt henry: (relaxed) You were a great mentor but now you are starting to become an animal just like the rest of them. At ease captain, you disappoint me as your lieutenant. The man I knew wouldn't have done this.

Capt benedict: HENRY! HENRY COME BACK HERE NOW!

As they walked back to armoured jeep injured from the fall, they left the hill on bad terms not speaking a word to each other.

Back at base, Henry stormed to his room, feeling a tempest brewing inside him. He sat down, the memories of the day replaying in his mind. He thought to himself that this was not how things were meant to happen around here. It's like the moment pat was brought to phobos the captain's attention shifted bending to pat's recklessness, bloodthirsty ways. This truly had to come to an end.

Then he got a great idea, he was planning on faking his death and running away from the trinity as finally his eyes were opened to the chaotic nature that was within the trinity. They don't care for anyone but their plan to please the governor of the corporation, he was hearing the admiral and captain speak, the admiral had told the captain that what happened was just a normal case of "it is what is" and that they had to escape so they used the beam and that in death honour is there for the marines who die in these types of missions.

He was talking about buck's death and using it as a example of honorary prowess for the corporation and he had enough of this. It was time for him to carve his own path. Late at night while everyone was asleep henry snuck out of base Phobos, he geared up and went into the harvester room where he heard royal guards interrogating captured lakay marines.

He went in and he assassinated both of them, he then took one of their armours and switch it with his, he then grabbed the key cards and important information of the mining site and the metal factory and also let the tortured marines out.

They were four of them, he helped them sneak from the back and into the cargo vehicle bay. He passed by the harvester main room which he proceeded to place a grenade in between the fuel tank and generator then he hid the injured marines inside of the cargo truck and he then assassinated the driver and hid his body. He got inside and drove off and at the gate they asked him for his permission slip and he gave them the one that the marine had with him, and then he hit the button to blow up the remote-controlled grenade exploding it and letting the building go up in flames.

The guards of the gate ran to see what had happened and that was Henry's chance to escape, driving as fast as he could out of base Phobos and into the forest he asked the marines a question.

Henry: listen man do you have any base nearby where I can take you back.

Random marine: yeah... go right and head straight... I will guide you there, but why help us?

Henry: because I know why y'all fight us and my eyes have just been opened now. I know I will be arrested, but it's better than what they would do to me—total abuse of authority.

Random marine: I think they will arrest you.

Henry: it's better that way

After reaching the area where the base was at it was the lakay compound where the zeta special operation was, henry found a cliff side that looked like a ramp and used that to go inside of the compound breaking the glass and landing in the middle of the building causing lots of noise and tons of marines ran from their rooms to come see what just had happened.

Sergeant Thomas: so, there it was, a big red beam hit us from the sky just like what happened to me back at London.

GLASS BREAKING*

Corporal Wyatt: What the fuck was that!!

Capt James: it's coming from outside. Let's go check it out

The whole of zeta team came out and saw a trinity royal marine with his hands up and injured lakay marines coming out of the cargo vehicle. While being at gun point, he said.

Henry: it's okay I won't do anything. I will surrender, so please help your comrades here and take the drive containing information in the car.

The atmosphere crackled with tension as the Zeta team, weapons still aimed at Henry, exchanged wary glances. Their eyes darted between the injured Lakay marines and the unexpected figure of the Trinity marine standing amidst the chaos.

Capt James: You expect us to believe you? You just crashed a truck into our base!

Henry: I didn't come here to fight. I came to help. They're innocent. They don't deserve to be treated like this. Just check the drive—I've got vital intel on Trinity operations. I've seen enough bloodshed to know this isn't right.

Slowly, Sergeant Thomas lowered his weapon, eyeing Henry with suspicion but also a flicker of intrigue. Corporal Wyatt, his brow furrowed, stepped forward.

Corporal Wyatt: What's your play here? Why risk it all to save them?

Henry: Because I realized too late on what we were doing. I'm done being a pawn in someone else's game. This isn't just about orders anymore; it's about doing what's right.

A murmur spread among the Zeta soldiers, uncertainty lingering in the air. Henry could see the conflict in their eyes—do they trust him or not? Time was running out.

Sergeant Thomas: Lad, I saw your face through your helmet, you were there this evening, right? If you aren't lying to us and really want to change, then I will watch over you. Make no mistake though, cross the line and I'll end you myself. Understand?

Henry: Yes sir.

Sergeant Thomas turned to Captain James; his voice steady but firm.

Sergeant Thomas: Captain, give the young man a chance. I'll look after him, he crosses the line. I shall eradicate him with my weapons.

Captain James stared hard at Henry; the weight of the decision clear in his eyes. After a tense moment, he gave a reluctant nod.

Capt James: Very well, anyway everyone go to sleep. We shall deal with you shortly.

With that being said henry might have just found a new place to stay.
