Chapter 2: The forest

Thinking so, Aron slowly moved as a large amount of limbs started to grow on his mountainous surface. Looking at them, they are six of them, composed of countless tiny tentacles, forming a cluster of huge thick limbs, to bear the massive weight of his body. As Aron slowly got up, a large amount of disturbance started to occur in the surrounding area as many avalanches started to happen simultaneously.

Aron walked outside of the rocky high bed he had made earlier from the destroyed mountain and went down, as he can tell that many creatures can be found in the forest.

So looking at the scene, a huge mountainous shaped giant is walking down on his six foots. There are countless tentacles emerging from his whole body randomly moving around full of momentum making the surrounding mists turbulent, looking like an angry evil God who is going out to destroy the world.

And as Aron started to get near the forest, the forest started to quiet down, as all the creatures of the whole food web inside it seized their activity and started shivering at their place. No creatures had any amount of thought to run, as if the sheer amount of fear has gripped their little intelligence making them stay waiting for their doom.

Coming at the border area of the forest, he can see that it is huge in area as no end can be seen in his field of vision though most parts are covered in this mist, looking down Aron can tell that there are many creatures inside it, some he has seen already, some new but one thing is common is that all of them is motionless at their places. Well it makes things easy for him.

Sighing, Aron decided to check them and find a suitable one whose intelligence is high and is able to evolve appropriately. Pickering one of the nearest creature inside carefully with his tentacles, a little soft, the creatures is just too tiny, getting closer a little, it can be seen that it is a tiny four legged creature of 6 meter with 3 tails and a long neck, its face is little distorted with 4 eyes and a many hair like structure near its head. The creature was completely motionless on his rocky feelers, though he can tell that it was still conscious.

Placing it back, Aron picked another creature, this time this creature is totally different, it is big and round, its body is fully made blob of mud or similar things, congested together with a face attached, it have tiny limbs, so Aron assumed that it is one of those harmless creatures.

Placing it down gently, Aron started to pick different creatures again and again. And as he did so, many tiny dust-like particles got stuck to these creatures from Aron, who were picked up, which obviously Aron did not notice.

As the sun was going down, Aron thought of going back, as to not disturb these creatures or they might die in their places if he just stood there. Though it might sound a long time, but Aron was really fast in his observation and has seen more than 30 different creatures, some large, some small but not a single one was similar to his previous life or showed much intelligence than its survival instants.

Aron did this checking to also see some similarities from his previous world but he has not found one. Looking at the forest one last time Aron went back to his previous location and sat down by taking back the feelers.

“This world is really different”. Aron thought so, as he can still see a huge sun out in the sky through mist, as if this gray mist does not block the sunlight at all.

Aron has given this world, his new home, a name, Misty World, due to obvious reasons, as the mist never receded in this world. In his long time here, which he assumes is more than 100,000 years, he has seen many phenomenal things here which are quite different from his previous world but the most important and dangerous thing is, that there are countless space cracks in this world, moving space cracks.

There have only been two instances where he got transported to random places by those space cracks, many many years ago. These space cracks can teleport you to some other random places which happened one time when he was sleeping at one place and woke up at totally different places and another when he was exploring. He has seen many creatures just vanishing and appearing in his sight many times, even now, in the forest, two creatures disappeared in front of his eyes. But as the time passed and his size started to increase, the space cracks do not form near it anymore, due to some unknown reasons.

Keeping these thoughts aside, Aron started to think of ways to evolve the creatures and as he went in the daze many days passed.

Suddenly he got an idea, why choose a single species to evolve, why not make them all evolve, then won't he have many people to talk to. But the main question still remains, ‘how to evolve them’.

Even after thinking for many days, Aron did not have any idea, so he just thought of going out and seeing what other creatures are there in the forest. As all the creatures he has seen, many are totally different from each other in body size, structures and even shape. It can all be placed on the spatial distortion which brings one creature to different places mixing them up.

Coming to the periphery, Aron carefully walked inside the forest so as to not accidentally destroy it. As he walked, he saw many creatures, some big, some small, some dark and white, it's like the possibilities in this world are endless.

Coming to a place inside, which he thought was deep enough, Aron sat down and started his research. Casually picking up a creature and observing and placing it down. This time he did think much of the time and casually did what he should.

And as such a few days have passed and Aron started to feel sleepy. “Looks like my time is up huh”, muttering so, Aron did not try to be awake forcefully, and closed his eyes.

It has been more than 100,000 years since he came here but Aron has not been awake even 1/ 10000 of it as most of the time Aron was in deep sleep and during this sleep Aron size started to grow, which he did not mind. As per Aron, he needs to sleep for a long time after being awake for like 10 days, if forcefully done, 15 to 20 days.

It's like his body needs constant replenishment of energy storage to make his huge body function as he has not eaten anything for thousands of years.
