“Now the Moment we have all been waiting for! I introduce to you the first vote!
Here we will give you the lovely deities in the audience the chance to choose the setting of our little game.”
The Curator waves their hand, showing off three red curtains before a rope unfurls itself from above. The curtain starts to rise on a world that is mostly ocean and hosts one single supercontinent.
“Our first option is simple, here you have a world where the residents are just getting started on their way to civilization. So, if you choose this option, you have the ability to raise these simple beings to enlightenment.”
As the Curator says these things, images flash over the planet of lizard-like humanoids going from living in caves, to huts then to cities. They create great civilizations, make advancements in magic, technology, art, science, and achieve space travel. “After all, anything is possible with the support of the gods.”
“Although you could also bring them down. Watch how these mortals handle challenge after challenge and see what they can overcome. See them through hardship for your entertainment as you try to tear them down.” The images shift, the cities burn, the citizens scatter as they try to survive, the sky turns red and darkness blankets the world.
Then the Curator snaps their fingers, and the world returns to how it was originally with a people just breaching into civilization.
“Option two is a bit different.” The second curtain rises showing three planets.
“In this scenario we would be taking three planets and combining them into one. Planet one is a planet called Nàtha which evolved to have only plant life on its surface, but sapient life emerged anyhow,” one of the planets rotate to the front, covered by greenery and, as the projection zooms in, is shown to have several species of intelligent plant life living across its surface, and low amounts of mana swirls through the air.

“Planet two is a world called Bohumir that has a very high mana density and as such gives rise to many unique and interesting species that call this planet home,” A new planet rotates to the front, this one dotted with diverse civilizations, from the fairies living harmoniously with the world tree to a war-torn landscape where angels and demons fight a constant war of survival. Many scenes play out across this world as it starts to twist to the final planet.
“Planet three is just as interesting if not a bit less magical, I present to you Earth! The people here somehow evolved in a world with no access to magic and more impressive still spread across the entire planet like rot through a log,” A world totally devoid of magic rotates to the front, the air is dirtier the people are everywhere, and the cities of this planet can be seen even from space.
“Now what we are going to do here is take parts of each of these worlds and create something new from them,” With that the Curator walks up to the planets and yanks giant fistfulls from each planet before rolling them in a ball creating a mix between them, the remains of each planet leak magma from their now dying cores before they start to float off into space.
“With this new world, we can see how each world reacts to the upheaval of their societies, you all can try to guide them to peace, or perhaps you will want to make everything worse!” The Curator laughs as they imagine the possible scenarios.
With a snap of their fingers the Curator returns the planets to how they were before.
“Last but certainly not least we have option three!” The final curtain rises showing all the previous planets. “This scenario is a bit of a mix of Option one and Option two, we pluck some mortals from each of the worlds with established civilizations and plop them together onto the world with none,” as they say this the Curator leans down to each planet and grabs a mortal from each world a human from earth, an elf from Bohumir, and an Ent from Nàtha before throwing them down in an empty field in the world without civilization.
“From here they will have to survive the savage natives, the wildlife, their new environment, and of course each other. Then it is up to you all on whether you support them as they try to survive and rebuild their civilization, or you can challenge them and make their lives harder every step of the way. It is all up to you dear deities.”
“Now what will you do! Will you interact with a growing civilization, will you watch as worlds collide, or will you summon races to a new world and observe how they grow!”
