"Brother! I've prepared the food on the dining table, come out!" Shannon, who was in a hurry, could only shout for her brother.

His friends complained when they heard Ivan's words. 

"Have you forgotten your friends now?" 

"You know there's an important event tonight."

"I really can't be with you tonight," Ivan replied with a quiet chuckle.

"So what, are you going on a date tonight?" 

"Wow! Really?"

Ivan rolled his eyes lazily when he heard his friends' nonsense, he had expected that they would continue to bother him if he didn't explain his business tonight. 

"Oh my! Why are you guys making so much noise? Tonight is the commemoration of my parents' death," I replied lazily. 

Instantly everyone stopped talking when they heard Ivan's answer this time. 

Ivan sighed again when he realized that his friends felt bad for him after knowing the reason.

Since Shannon wasn't home yet Ivan decided to go take a shower while waiting for his sister to come home, so they could start commemorating the death of their parents. 

However, until Ivan had finished showering he hadn't seen his sister come home, and he began to worry because Shannon rarely came home this late. 

"Did something happen?" Feeling worried, Ivan picked up his cell phone in his room, intending to call Shannon. 

However, before Ivan could do that he heard a loud noise from the direction of the highway which was not far from his apartment. 

Curious about what was happening, Ivan walked over to the large window in his room to see what was happening. 

A puff of smoke could be seen in the distance and this time he began to hear the screams of the people on the street below. 

"Why are they shouting like that? What kind of chaos is going on this time," Ivan said irritably as he heard the shouting which he found very disturbing. 

But, even though Ivan reacted like that he was still curious about what happened, so he quickly went to his computer to see what had happened this time. 

And how surprised Ivan was when he saw the news circulating on news portals today, not only that the shocking news was confirmed by people's posts on various social media. 

"Monster gate?! Are they kidding?" Ivan's eyes rounded in disbelief when he saw the news that the zombie outbreak began to spread around the world. 

Ivan wanted to disbelieve this, but he could see the chaos in the streets recorded by people who were at the scene. 

And a horde of monsters coming out of a gate could be seen all over social media. Instantly Ivan thought about his younger sister who still hadn't come home until now. 

"It's impossible, right?!" Ivan's body drooped limply in his gaming chair, he was really worried about the current state of his younger sister. 

Seeing that Shannon hadn't come home until now, it was likely that she was either stuck at school or stuck on the streets. 

And the worst possibility Ivan could think of was that Shannon had turned up dead at the hands of those monsters. At the thought of that possibility Ivan shook his head vigorously, not wanting to believe that possibility. 

"No! I have to go save her!" Ivan got up from his position. 

However, his movement stopped as soon as he thought that what he was about to face was a horde of monsters that looked very strong.

"The problem is how do I deal with those monsters?" Ivan muttered as he paced back and forth in his room. 

"Instead of helping Shannon, I might die first if I go out unprepared," Ivan continued to mumble. 

It's just that the problem is that Ivan is not someone who regularly exercises let alone knows martial arts, he is just a useless young man who likes to play games. 

Ivan also ruffled his hair in frustration at this time, it would be a lie if he said that he was not afraid at this time.
