Chapter 15

Athina looked at her in innocence and disbelief, then asked her politely, "Who are you?" Yuana smiled at her and bowed. "I am Yuana, Your Highness, Prince Achil's Concubine." Athina's expression changed, her face turned red, and tears welled up.

On the other side, the Empress hurriedly approached the inner door of the building, but Aron held her hand. The Empress tried to pull her hand forcefully from him and spoke in a harsh tone, "You may find it enjoyable, Your Highness, among your harem, but do not let your sick hobbies interfere with my son's life." But Aron didn't move his hand and continued to enjoy the scene. As the Empress began to rage, she fell silent in astonishment.

Athina moved to leave, but Yuana suddenly fell to her knees. "Your Highness, the prince didn't touch me! I swear on my life." Athina looked at her in astonishment, tears filling her eyes. "Then why did he sleep with you??" Yuana replied, "The Emperor himself sent me; he had no other choice. I swear he only came to have tea, and then we slept separately." Confusion appeared on my face as I tried to prove that, then suddenly I suggested, "You can ask the servants; they never heard anything."

Athina blushed deeply and swore that she understood me and no longer needed to trust me. I quickly stood up, bowed with a smile filling my face, and said, "I wish you a happy marriage and a happier life." And I fled, while Athina stood in astonishment.

Aron laughed a little and mocked the Empress, "Achil must be so bad for his Concubine to escape like this." Then he continued as he left, "Even the Yijen Concubine didn't escape him like this."

The next morning, the place was filled with servants and food, indicating the Empress's opinion of what had happened. However, I did not understand the reason for this sudden kindness. I didn't think Athina was that kind of girl, as I didn't expect her to tell the Empress what had happened. So I decided to rethink trusting any of my expectations.
