8. Victory at a Price.

Screen opens changes to showing USA Soldiers and Demi-Human helping fix parts the castle. Gathering prisoners that survived. Then screen changes to a funeral area where Leo and Falen and dead soldiers are put to rest by Mona, Sally, Vanessa, Ronna, and Zella. Along with Knights that survived the battle.

Sally [Werewolf]- Finally this is all over. And we can get paid.

Vanessa [Vampire Knight]- Sally can you show sum respect to the dead. Including to our leader Falen.

Sally- Ha. He was alright but come on. He was more of a friend then a leader.

Ronna [High Elf Wizard]- Still he was a great leader for being a Demi-Cat.

Zella [Dark Elf Plague Doctor]- Agreed.

Zella and Mona puts her hands together in and pray.

Mona- Indeed dear. But things are far from over. The Humans managed to wipe out an entire armor with in seconds. And our king has declared war on them. I don't know what will happen to us. But at best there enslave us all.

The group was silent at her statement but Sally.

Sally- Ha. Well that's not going to happen to me and my family pack. Where not going out with out a fight.

Vanessa- For once I agree with you Werewolf. Our people wont allow themselves to be bonded in chains.

Mona- I'm afraid they wont have a say in this. That is why I've been approved to take over the Adventure Guild.

Sally- What!?

Everyone look surprised as Mona got up from praying.

Mona- Lord granted me it as a reward for defending the castle. We must keep an eye on these Humans. And save our way of life.

Screen changes to Lords with Jaxon and Cane in a room with two USA Soldiers and Lord Royal Guards.

Tiran [Demi-Bear]- Alright what do you want from us Cane.

Cane- What do you mean Tiran?

Tiran- Don't play with me. We've seen what your capable of. You wish for a full surrender right.

Cane- Well our goals are to retrieve our people you took. Also to win the war your people started and refuse to negotiate.

Albert [Human]- So what is it you want.

Cane- These are the demands we want. One this territory as our own. Second peace talks with your leaders. The recruitment of your people into soldiers to help fight king Malic. And third discount on trade with your nation.

The lords look at each other.

Albert- Very well. We agree with these terms.

Albert- So have you found anything about these humans and how they where able to easy defeat an attacking army.

Mona- There weapons are made from some type of powder that can explode. And there carriages powered by some type of black liquid.

Albert- AH! That's doesn't really help with copying them.

Mona- Might I recommend we join them instead of fight them.

Albert- What!? Your recommending treason.

Mona- Yes. But what I've seen not even our greatest Knights or Wizards will stand a chance against them.

Albert- I'll need time to think about this. But have you found out there plans.

Mona- They plan on going to war with near by Kingdoms. The next place there headed to is Demi-Human territory.

Albert- Ah. The king DIM. I want you to go with them and report on anything you find. And take any means to get more.

Mona- Of course my lord.

Screen changes to Henry, Tucker, and Mark eating next to a tent they set up.

Henry- That was a close one.

Tucker- Ya. Thank god they showed up. Or we might needed to evacuate the Castle. By the way nice shooting Mark.

Mark- No problem. But I never had to shoot that many rounds before.

Henry- Well starting army's relied on numbers or ambushes to win. Guns weren't around.

Tucker- Along with explosives and Jets. Ha Ha Ha.

Screen changes to Mona walking up to General Jaxon along with her adventures.

Jaxon- So you and your team wish to assist us in peace treaty's

Mona- Yes. Since your nation now in control of the lands my serves is now under you and your men.

Jaxon- Hmm. Alright we could use the help and an idea on the land and kingdoms. So I'll exsept your services.

Mona- Thank you General Jaxon. I will gather supply's before leaving.

Mona kneel at Jaxon before leaving.

Cane- Um. This might be a bad idea general.

Jaxon- Maybe. But we need all the help we can get. And they know about the lands here more then anyone else.

Cane- Fine. But I recommend you keep an eye on them. They where apart of the army that invaded our country.

Jaxon- No worry's I will. If they back stab us I'm ready to deal with them.

Screen changes to inside the White House.

Armstrong- Alright so the battle went well. But I don't remember approving making these lands part of America?

Jonny [Vice President]- I did sir. We need to have our men well supplied in case the Gateway closes. And the only way I can see that if we start opening up businesses on the other side.

Jonny hands Armstrong paper work. After Armstrong looked it over.

Armstrong- Uh! Are you nuts. Our economy is already in bad shape. This bill will push it further down the hole.

Jonny- It's an over time bill sir. This bill will help both America and it's people. These new lands loaded with resources. And we should take this opportunity while we have it.

As Armstrong read through the bill he grabs his pen.

Armstrong- Hm. I will make some changes and if it pass the house and senate I'll sign it. Because I'm not just going to use executive power to just have the bill removed by the next president.

Jonny- It already have. That's why it's here.

Armstrong- Well I guess your always three steps ahead of me old friend.

As he sighs the bill.

Jonny- Well you need to be fit to survive this job.

Armstrong- Ha. I believe that. Ha Ha Ha.
