10. King Doren.

Screen opens to inside the HUMVEE with Cane and Mona. Along with Mark , Ronna and Vanessa.

Vanessa- Why did you help those peasants. They didn't deserve your time.

Cane- Well we don't leave people behind to suffer Vanessa. No matter what class they are.

Ronna- But where did you send them to?

Cane- Well the our leaders agreed to start farming and jobs back at the Gateway entrance.

Mona- Well your king seems generous.

Mark- Ha ha ha ha.

Ronna- Um? What's so funny Mark?

Mark- We don't have a king. We elect our leaders

Vanessa- What a ridiculous idea. Our king chosen by our gods. We can never lose to such low class people.

Cane- Ha. Tell me Vanessa does the lower classes in this world pray to your gods?

Vanessa- Of course they do. Why would you ask such a ridicules question.

Cane- Because so did our people. We had a king but he taxed us to the point people lost there jobs and it got bad to the point many couldn't eat. And protest broke out around the town that lead to people getting shot leading to a revolution war which we won. So tell me again God was on the king side during that war.

Vanessa looked mad at Cane story taking it as insult and remained silent.

Mark- Hey Cane we got company.

Cane- What is it the attacking army.

Mark- No. I think Kingdom DIM army.

Cane stops the HUMVEE.

Mona- Ah. It's King Doren and his loyal knights. Wait here and I'll deal with him.

Cane- You sure you'll be alright.

Mona- There is no worry Doren has a Warrior Code to not harm Women or children. I shall be back shortly.

Screen changes to HUMVEE behind them with Henry, Tucker Sally, Zella and Sally inside.

Tucker- Wo. That guys big as a tank.

Henry flexed his hand and looked disappointed.

Tucker- What's a matter Henry feel weak compared to him. Ha Ha Ha.

Henry- No. Just checking to make sure I'm still strong.

Sally and Zella tryed to hold back there laughter.

Henry- Ow. Screw you all.

Tucker- So girls what your story.

Zella- Hu? What do you mean?

Sally- What I mean is what's your story. How did you two become adventures.

Zella- Well I grew up in an orphanage. And I found out I was good with black magic. Not long after word spread about my skills and I was taken in as a student by my towns Warlock. Then I eventually joined the Adventure Guild to increase my study's.

Tucker- Well that interesting.

Henry- How about you Sally?

Sally- I grew up in my pack out in the woods. My tribe has a peace agreement with the king. And asked a few of use join the Adventure Guild to assist with the nation. I was chosen and trained to become and Adventurer since I was a kid.

Henry- Wait you never had a child hood.

Sally- What do you mean childhood hood.

Henry- You now have friends and enjoy life.

Sally- Sorry but we have no time for such things. Do you now how hard it is to survive in the forest.

Tucker- She got you there Henry. Remember it's a lot harder to survive in the area of knights.

Henry- I guess so. But still you deserve to treat yourself once in a while. Besides didn't you want to grab something to eat together.

Sally- Well I never turn down a good meal. So when do you want to go eat.

Henry- When we get back to the Gateway. I'll take you to our kitchen and we'll have some real food.

But before anyone could say anything the Radio goes off.

Cane- Alright men wear clear to move in.

Henry- Roger that sir.

Screen changes to a camp in the woods where king Doren and knights are getting ready to move out. Screen goes inside the Tent where the Doren look surprised at Cane.

Doren [King]- I'm impressed a bunch of humans managed to defeat those backstabbing lords.

Cane- Our men are capable of handling themselves well king.

Doren- Hm. Indeed. As for your request in betraying our king. How can I know you'll keep me and my subjects safe.

Cane- Our weapons managed to overwhelm your king strongest army. And the other kingdoms. I believe where more then capable of defending you and your people.

Doren- Well my army had defeated the invading kingdom. But there Fire Dragon is still causing many of the farms to be destroyed. Kill the fire Dragon and I shall agree to join your rebellion against our king.

Cane- That should be simple. Consider the dragon good as dead.

Mona and the others looked pissed at this agreement.

Doren- Very well. The Fire Dragon up in the mountains along with the remaining army that attacked us. Defeat them and bring me the Fire Dragon Crystal and we shall join you.

Cane- Thank you King Doren.

Screen changes to the HUMVEE where the girls looked mad at Cane.

Mona- Are you insane!

Cane- Hu!? About what?

Mona- Really!? About exempting killing the fire dragon. Even with all your fire own you'll never be able to kill none the less find him.

That when the radio turns on. Screen changes to a jet pilot flying through the mountain area.

Hunter 1- This is hunter one. We spotted the Fire Dragon and the knights camp.

Cane- Nice work Hunter 1 return to base and wait for further orders.

Cane smiled as the other looked in disbelief.

Vanessa- Very well you've managed find them. But the fire dragon resistance against any magic and explosives.

Henry- Then I recommend we hit it with everything we have sir.

Cane- I can agree with that Soldier. Contact the base and have a team of tanks sent out along with our jets. We want to end this in one strike.

Henry- Right away sir.

After Henry heads out one of the guards over heard them talking and walks over to king Doren tent.

Vanessa- You've lost your mind if you think where going with you on this mission.

Cane- Well I can't force any of you to come with us.

That's when they hear the door to the HUMVEE close as Sally, Zella, and Ronna are inside.

Sally- Alright let's go. I want to see how your going to kill a fire dragon.

Vanessa- Are you three insane!

Zella- Well I want to see how powerful there magic truly is Vanessa.

Vanessa- But why do you want to go Ronna.

Ronna- They've managed to hold off an entire army by themselves. So I trust them with our life's.

Mona- Ha. Very well I'll come with as well.

Vanessa- But Mona!? You can't get yourself killed. There be no one to lead the Adventure Guild.

Mona- Believe me there always be someone to replace the head. Now let's get going.

Cane- Wo. Easy there it will take three to four hours to get everything ready. So there's no need to rush things.

But before anyone one could say anything King Doren walks over to them.

Doren- Then I would like to join you as well.

Mona [Surprised]- King Doren!?

Doren- I want to see how your small army was capable to defeat an entire army of knights and dragon riders.

Cane- Very well. But it will take time for us to get ready.

Doren- Very well. Send for me once your ready to go.

Cane- Will do King Doren.

After King Doren left the Vanessa look in disbelief and took a deep breath..

Vanessa- Fine. I'll join you as well. But the moment you fail I'm leaving. Even I know when there's a Dragon we can't defeat.

Cane- Very well. I always have an escape plan.

Screen then changes to tanks moving into potation along with jet's in the sky. As they pull up with King Doren on his giant war horse. A soldier Runs up to Cane.

Soldier- General where ready to begin.

Cane- Good once I give the word all units open fire.

Doren- I don't see how your going to kill a Fire Dragon with Five of these steel carriages.

Mona- there not carriages king Doren they call them tanks. And they can hit's targets from far away.

Doren- Hm. So that how they killed off the invading army at Castle Alen.

Mona- Yes. But even I do not know how these weapons work there very deadly.

Doren- Well we shall see about that.

Screen changes over to Henry, Mark, Sally, Tucker and Zella getting out of the HUMVEE.

Henry- UH. Finally we got here.

Mark- What's the problem soldier not used to long car rides,

Henry- No. I'm just sore. UH!?

That when Sally placed her hands on Henry shoulders.

Henry- Um. Sally what are you. Ahh!? That feels so good.

Henry collapses into Sally hands.

Tucker- Hey what did you do to Henry!?

Sally- I just relaxed his body that's all. But he's completely fine.

Henry- Snore!!

Everyone had a simple chuckle.

Mark- Hm. So how did you do that? In fact how does your Magic work?

Zella- Our Magic focuses on the environment to control it. How ever we all have are limits to our Mana.

Tucker- Mana? What's that?

Sally- It's Energy that a part of our body. That allow us to connect and use our powers. It's apart of all life here. For example I can can relaxed Henry muscles.

Mark- Interesting.

screen changes to Cane as a soldier runs up to him.

Soldier- Sir the Fire Dragon coming in for a landing at the near by camp.

Cane- Good once it lands unload and bring it down.

Soldier- Right away sir.

Doren- How long before I see how you killed an army Cane.

Cane- Right when the Dragon lands you will see. Anyways here the Dragons come. Everyone to your battle stations!

As all soldiers load and get ready screen changes to the Fire Dragon landing in the camp in the distance. Right as it lands the tanks open fire blasting the dragon and camp set up by the army. Doren watched calm and not surprised. After the first attack the Dragon still alive and jumps into the sky avoiding the next shots. But right when it did that jets came in and unloaded on the Dragon with there guns and missiles nocking the dragon out of the sky. The tank fire finally manage to kill it. Screen changes back to Cane who's watching through military binoculars. The girls don't look surprised.

Cane- Target down! Hold fire! Soldier take a team and tank. And confirm the Fire Dragon death.

Soldier- Right away sir.

Doren walks over to Cane.

Doren- Never in my life I believed I would see someone capable of taking down one of our lands most deadly Monsters. I would be honored to join your rebellion against the king.

Cane- Thank you King Doren. I will call our negotiator and we can begin talks right away.

Doren nods in agreement as the screen fades to black.
