"War will exist until that distant day when the conscientious objector enjoys the same reputation and prestige that the warrior does today." -John F. Kennedy
-Year 2251, Earth
"Welcome to the Academy of Transcenders. Today we will welcome the class of 2255. The next 4 years of your life will be spent here, learning to become a member of the Transcenders. We will send your dorm, class schedule, as well as other information to your A.I. Chips. Please clap your hands for this year's class president Lillian Bonner."
Applause breaks out among the crowds as a girl walks out from the crowd. Her white hair reaching out past her shoulders with its mixing tips twisting in and out, the students of her enormous eyes appearing to represent knowledge and genuineness, her gorgeously worn uniform unwrinkled by the warmth. That was a figure as though poise were painted in an image"
"Hi everyone, My name is Lumi Schnei. I will be your class president for the next 4 years. Ever since I was little, I've heard about the heroic tales of the Transcenders. They've taken territories, fought off enemies and helped humanity thrive. I've always wanted to become a Transcender. Being a Transcender is not only about your strength, it's also about your mentality. To borrow words from a man from the past, 'There are two types of people who will tell you that you cannot make a difference in this world: those who are afraid to try and those who are afraid you will succeed.' We can all become the ones that will bring change to the world, and we can do that here, in this school. The Academy of Transcenders boasts a 97% graduation rate, and more than 10% of them becomes the Transcenders that we rely on today. I hope to work with you all towards our goals in the oncoming years , thank you for your attention."
The crowd once again roared with cheers at the end of the speech. Some, perhaps dazed by her beauty, some perhaps distracted by other things however, did not clap with the audience.
"So I have 2 classes after this," Zac mutters to himself.
"I have about 4 to 5 classes each day with mandatory attendance. 3-2 classes that are optional each day. Lunch is provided by the school, so I don't have to worry about that. I don't need to eat breakfast. But dinner has to be gotten by tonight."
Zac Boris, a boy with nothing to his name. Was worrying about his dinner more than the spectacle on stage. He had gotten into the Academy only by using a recommendation from his deceased dad who was once an alumni. His clothes are somewhat clean, yet it radiates the poverty one could expect from an orphan who had to work two different jobs each day in order to get tuition for the semester. He was forced to go from place to place, in search of an affordable home.

With the many advancements from humanity as a whole, poverty and world hunger has been nearly solved, yet there were many who were homeless and went hungry each day. This was due to the lack of a real job, humanity doesn't require manual labor anymore, as they have more than enough energy to go around. Without the need of worrying about food, the human population soared, even with obtaining several other inhabitable planets, humanity still struggles to find enough room for the growing population. What humanity needs are resources beyond, such as increasing humanity's strength so they can obtain more territory.
After the orientation, Zac heads to his dorm with much enthusiasm. After all, he gets to see his room for the rest of his school days. As he walked on the path that his A.I. Chip had told him was the shortest road, he looked at the information displaced about the school as a whole.
The school was separated into three different sections, each section corresponding to a tier level. Each tier level is measured by judging your overall strength. Tier 9 includes regular humans or below. Tier 9 means that you have yet to start with your road to transcendence. Tier 9 is the lowest measure of universal strength. The specific classification is "Tier 9 is when a race is able to become the dominant species on its respective planet, with intelligence to allow it to have access to space travel. After contact with the universal dimension, every member of such a race will be at the lowest Tier 9 classification, if not higher." Tier 10 however is even worse than tier 9, it is not a classification of strength or intelligence, but rather a term used to describe all living species without the ability to become tier 9. Tier 8 and beyond requires you to change yourself beyond what is given by being a species. Tier 8 in particular is about Olympic athletes' level of strength for humans. While the Universal definition of it is. "Tier 8 is when a member of a certain race pushes its abilities to the boundary without going over. Once something reaches the boundary, they can have the chance to become a Transcender, Tier 8 will allow the person to acquire strength that would only be able to be seen as the strongest of their race without becoming a Transcender." Tier 7 however, is when the true start of being a Transcender. Tier 7's universal definition is "Tier 7 is when a member of a certain race finally breaks through their fragile bodies and becomes a Transcender, once someone becomes a Transcender, they will be able to access the Transcender's dimension. A Tier 7 will be able to take on countless Tier 8s and below. They are where transcendence truly begins. The three sections of the school include Tier 9, Tier 8, and Tier 7s respectively. The academy is humanity's true glory. Being able to attend the academy means a shot of being a Transcender, which to many, is a chance that they would be willing to pay with everything they have.
