You know the drill. There’s some stuff to point out.
This is the last story in my three-part tale. It’s not even remotely told in order because of these annoying things called flashbacks. Don’t worry, they’re all about the true origin stories of those heroes around me. I’ll even set the record straight on my pre-powered past since that’s where this all began.
Here’s the other boiler plate disclaimers. Tits bounces and watching them makes me smile. Cursing happens because I’m not distracted by jiggly bits. Stupid actions are frequently performed by stupid people that think they know better. You and I both know that intelligence doesn’t prevent poor decision making.
We got your standard aliens. There are powered people who might be gods but are certainly idiots. We’ll venture back into the wonky nightmare land because the whole “truth in madness” quote is true and that sucks.
Stolen from its original source, this story is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
Speaking of quotes, there’s this other one. Lord, grant me the strength to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. Thanks, Reinhold Niebuhr for the impossible ask.
We’ll start with the gods who don’t like me meddling. Thanks to Alice, I have the strength to fight back. Wisdom is a pipe dream and courage is pointless when you can't die.
We’ll end with reality crashing around me because whatever’s left has to be the truth behind my own powers and what took away Alice.
And you? You should be happy about all this. This is the final warning I’ll ever give you. Ready? Here goes. This stupid adventure has been love story the whole time, told by a true moron, and no one told me until just now. The worst part? I’m still not sure about the faerie tale ending.
I hope someone tells me how everything turned out.
