I’ve been running for…. I don’t know anymore. I don’t even know from what anymore. Maybe the things chasing me, maybe my past, maybe…
I grunt as I wake up with my back to a tree with the sunlight glowing through the tall trees and its thick leaves. I stand up and massage my neck from being in such an uncomfortable position during the night.
“Why the fuck can’t my body get used to this already?!” I mutter frustratingly to myself quietly. “You’ve never been on the run before, have you?” says an unknown voice from, somewhere. “Who’s there?!?” I almost scream while I jump up to my feet. “Just someone passing by” the voice responds. Damn the Yggdrasils roots, i can’t tell where the voice is coming from, nor if it is a male or female. It’s almost like it’s coming from everywhere at once….
Wait, that’s it! “You’re not even here are you? You’re using telepathy magic to talk with me, aren’t you?” “Clever boy, or lady, can’t really tell from here” the voice says as it gives out an amused laugh that seems to echo into my skull. “I am a lady thank you very much. But i still don’t know what you are, or if you’re even a human.” I swiftly respond. “HAHAHAHAHAHA!” the voice gives out an even louder laugh than before that makes my entire body shake and tremble. By the gods, he’s going to kill me if he keeps this up! As if sensing my fear, he abruptly stops laughing and composes himself. “What’s your name girl?” the voice shakes inside my head as if it’s trying to make me remember it for the rest of eternity. “A-Azalore, Azalore Idyora. What’s yours?” My voice cracks at even thinking of just asking this voice name. “Hmph, I don’t see what that would gain you Azalore.” the voice says with obvious displeasure at the topic of its name. “And what did you gain from learning my name then?” I respond with a hint of frustration in my voice. “More than you can guess girl.” It responds dismissively. “How long were you planning to stay in my head anyways? As you apparently already knew, I’m being chased at this current moment, every second wasted is a second closer to my death!” I say as I start walking further away from civilization with quick steps.

“Hmph. Then, you can call me Inunde, it’s simple enough for your feeble human mind to understand.” It echoes in my head.
Feeble human mind, huh? Interesting…
