Jacob and Nathan left the store and headed home. They ordered food delivery on their way back and planned their next move while eating. Jacob asked Nathan what they should do next now that they have the school situation under control. Nathan suggested that they develop their strength and fighting abilities by hunting outside the Holy Shield. However, Jacob reminded him that they needed an Explorer ID to leave the city and suggested they go to the Blessed Government Center to inquire about it.
As they headed to the information center, they were stopped by guards at the government building. The guard asked to see their Blessed ID and noticed the insects crawling over Jacob. He advised them to register as an Explorer after getting their ID, or they would be arrested for having unregistered beasts. He explained that having an ID means the government trusts them to control more than one beast, but it depends on their Explorer's rank.
The guard gave them a letter stating they could have the beasts until they got their license after Nathan had given him a nice sum of cash. Jacob and Nathan thanked the guard and left to get registered, now aware that they could get in trouble for having more than one pet.
As they approached a mystical tower which just so happened to be the Center for Blessed, they couldn't help but be in awe of its captivating beauty. The structure was built entirely of stone, and it seemed to defy the laws of physics as it stood tall and proud. The moss that grew on the walls added to the tower's charm, giving it a magical and mysterious vibe.
As Jacob drew closer, he noticed that the tower was covered in intricate runes, which seemed to glow in the sunlight. He couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder and excitement as he gazed upon the tower's mystifying beauty. It was as if the tower held a secret that only those who were worthy could uncover.
He couldn't resist the urge to touch the runes, and as he did, he felt a surge of energy coursing through his veins. The tower seemed to come alive, and he was filled with a sense of wonder and amazement. It was a truly magical experience and one that he will never forget.
As Jacob and Natha walked into the lobby, they couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. The space was nearly empty, save for a few scattered chairs and a reception desk. But what really caught their attention were the walls. They were covered in strange runes, each one intricately carved and glowing with Fuse which seemed to brighten the entire room. And then there were the heads. Mounted on the walls like trophies were the heads of beasts they couldn't even begin to name. It was a bizarre and unsettling sight, and they couldn't wait to get out of there.

They then headed to the only receptionist in the whole establishment that they could see giving it an even creepier aura. The receptionist who greeted them had long blonde hair, Blue eyes and pointy ears. Her expression seemed bored as she mechanically handed Jacob a form to fill out. Despite her stunning appearance, he couldn't help but feel as though he was just another face in the crowd to her.
Jacob quickly filled out the form, eager to leave as soon as possible. He then approached the receptionist, who took the form with robotic movements and a bored expression. She directed him towards a room that appeared to be the entrance of a long hallway.
Jacob and Nathan were stopped in the hallway by the receptionist, who informed Nathan that he would have to wait outside. Jacob continued on alone, gradually picking up speed until he was sprinting. However, despite his efforts, the door he was aiming for seemed to be just out of reach. When he stopped to catch his breath, he noticed that the door was slowly moving further away from him. To reach it, Jacob decided to use the speed provided by his parasites. When he finally reached the door and opened it, he found an empty room with only a desk and a large man sitting at it. The man informed Jacob that he had passed the first test of the three, which was to gauge his rank as an explorer. Jacob was initially confused but gradually began to understand the situation. The man then pointed out a door that had been blending into the room unnoticed.
Jacob tried to enter the second room, but the stone door was too heavy for him to lift. Despite using all his muscles, he could only manage to move the door slightly. The more he tried, the heavier it seemed to get. He even used the strength from the parasites, but that wasn't enough. Feeling defeated, he decided to try one last thing. He willed his entire swarm to help him move the door, and to his surprise, it worked. They were able to open the door enough for him to pass through.
Upon entering the second door, Jacob was surprised to see the same man sitting in a carbon copy of the previous room. Before he could return to the previous door, it shut at an alarming speed. Jacob attempted to move the door again, but quickly gave up. He approached the man who confirmed that he had passed the second trial. Jacob asked about the third trial, and the man pointed to the gate made of the same stone as before with similar runes covering the whole tower.
As Jacob approached the gate, he heard growling beasts which sent shivers down his spine. The man looked at him through thick glasses and advised him to gear up. Jacob noticed the wall was previously empty, but now filled with racks and tables full of weapons, armor, and basic potions. He remembered the gear he had received earlier and thought it was the perfect chance to test it in a real battle and see how effective it would be.
