After a really bad night the new morning came Aric and Magnus came to Nyx's room covered in bandaids and saw that she was awake so they went to console her that everything would be okay just stay strong but how could a five year young child just forget what happened in front of her eyes she was full of regrets that if only she was their a hour before that incident maybe they could have fled maybe her mother and brother would have been alive and luke could be with them, Nyx had promised luke that they would spar as soon as she comes home.
The child full of regrets went to the balcony to see the kingdom's people around the palace, as soon as she reached there everyone started to appeal that the princess should leave the kingdom because the demon King's pillars attacked the kingdom because of her, they were trying to set an example for the world about what it means to oppose the demon king, even in his absence demon King's pillars or the pillars of destruction were able to take down their bests the dragon slayer and the best mage what good a mere child can do to protect them, Aric and Magnus tried to stop the crowd from saying those things and replied,
"The prophecy says that she needs to grow up and when she turns 18 she would defeat the demon king till then she isn't going anywhere and no one can kill her till she turns 18 because of the divine protection she has I saw one guy stabbing her but the sword broke instead and the demons can't touch her yet cause one disintegrated as he touched the princess"
"So what she is immortal till she turns 18 not us what if those four attack us next even our king was defeated how will you protect us? "
"We can't promise but we would love to risk our lives to protect you guys"
"You two weren't even able to protect the Royal family and you are saying you'll protect us don't try to fool us hey princess get out of the kingdom as soon as possible"
"You don't need to listen to those people, princess Nyx they are out of their minds"
"But they are right it all happened because of me ,I shouldn't be here, if I wasn't here luke ,mom, amara and father would have been safe , it's my order to pack my bag I am going out of the kingdom ".
" No it isn't like that princess you don't have to and if you go away both of us will accompany you "
"I don't mind having you guys with me let's get away and train so that I can take that king down and take my revenge"
"Ok princess, you guys are you happy now that a five year old is taking all the responsibilities while you grown ups run away from the problem sticking your tails in your backs? "
"Shut up you idiot ,you don't even know how big a threat is lying outside the kingdom in that shadow palace once that demon king gets Resurrected and we don't want to be on his bad side . "
"So you morons are ready to give up on a child's life huh a very nice way to show how brave you are I am proud of you guys"
"Hey Aric let's go we have to talk to king Aeneas about all this matter and take the princess with us . "
"Ok let's go Magnus bye you scaredy cats "
( In the King's room )
"Hello sir, we are really sorry that we weren't able to fulfill our duties and now we were again not able to handle the crowd like you do they ordered us backed up by the higher ups in your court to take the princess away from the kingdom so we were here to ask for your permission. "
"If you guys have already decided then please go to sylvaris the elven kingdom" Said the king.
"Ok sir we will do that"
"Hey father I why don't you get healthier faster I really want to go out with you at our favorite mountain and talk about all the pain in my chest I really don't want to leave the kingdom(started shedding tears) I want to sit beside you and help these people but they don't want me here yesterday I went out in the kingdom they were praising me and were so happy I am going to lead them but now they are disposing me just because I am weak but father I'll become really powerful and avenge our family I promise you I'll kill those four pillars and hang their heads in my room and same would happen to their king (sobbing) I promise you. "
"I am proud of you my child take care of yourself and I am sorry that I wasn't there to help you" Said Aeneas.

"Sir we will take care of princess Nyx you can rest easy we will go out try to keep a low profile in one of our allied nations and work as adventurers till then take care we are going out in the evening. "
"Bye father take care . "
(Later that evening)
The trio left the kingdom and all the townsfolk were watching them from their houses and were looking relieved.
"Should I burn them with my magic?" Said Magnus.
"No! are you crazy even though they are selfish once we protected them so we shouldn't just kill them just because they sent us out because it would make us no different than them. " Said Aric.
The trio after thinking alot went towards the allied nation of Sylvaris. It took almost a month to reach there on the way trio polished their skills.
Nyx pulled the hood of her black cloak tighter around her face as they approached the gates of Sylvaris, the allied elven kingdom. The sun was setting, casting long shadows that danced along the cobblestone path leading into the city. Beside her, Aric, the formidable dragon-slaying swordsman, walked with his usual silent confidence, his hand resting lightly on the hilt of his sword. On her other side, Magnus, the most powerful mage in the kingdom, adjusted his cloak, the faintest shimmer of magical energy occasionally escaping from the folds of his garment.
The gates were flanked by elven guards, their armor gleaming in the dimming light. As the trio approached, one of the guards stepped forward, eyeing them with a mix of curiosity and caution.
"State your business in Sylvaris," the guard demanded, his voice firm but polite.
"We seek entry to join the Adventurers Guild," Nyx replied, her voice steady despite the tension she felt.
The guard's eyes flicked to Aric and Magnus, noting their distinctive presences. "Travelers from distant lands, I see. Very well. Follow me."
They were led through the gates and into the city. Sylvaris was a place of ethereal beauty, with towering trees interwoven with delicate elven architecture. The buildings seemed to grow naturally from the landscape, and the air was filled with the soft glow of bioluminescent plants.
Aric leaned in slightly towards Nyx as they walked. "Remember, keep your guard up. Even allies can be unpredictable."
Nyx nodded, her thoughts racing. It had been months since she was exiled from her kingdom of Aurion, not for crimes but because her presence was a beacon for the Four Pillars of the Demon King. They had attacked before, slaughtering her family, and the people of Aurion feared her presence would invite another massacre.
Magnus remained silent, his keen eyes observing everything. As they neared the grand hall of the Adventurers Guild, he finally spoke. "This is it. Be ready for anything."
The entrance to the guild hall was imposing, flanked by two massive statues of elven warriors. Inside, the hall buzzed with activity. Adventurers of all kinds—elves, dwarves, humans, and even a few other races—filled the space, discussing quests, bartering goods, and sharing stories of their exploits.
A tall elf with silver hair and piercing blue eyes approached them. He wore the insignia of the guild on his chest. "Newcomers, I see. Welcome to the Sylvaris Adventurers Guild. I am Elandor, the guild master. What brings you to our halls?"
Nyx stepped forward, her resolve hardening. "We seek to join your guild. We are skilled and have much to offer."
Elandor's gaze shifted between the three of them, assessing. "Very well. We shall see if your skills are as you claim. Follow me to the training grounds."
They followed Elandor through the hall and out into a spacious courtyard. The area was equipped with targets, training dummies, and sparring rings. Other adventurers paused in their practice to watch the newcomers.
"Show us what you can do," Elandor said, stepping back to give them space.
Aric drew his sword, the blade gleaming with a deadly edge. He moved with fluid grace, striking a training dummy with precision and power. The onlookers murmured in approval.
Magnus raised his hands, and a surge of magic crackled through the air. He conjured a storm of ice and fire, the elements swirling around him in a dazzling display of control and power.
Elandor nodded appreciatively. "Impressive. Now, we shall test your magical capacity. This device," he said, pointing to a large crystal orb, "will measure the strength of your magical reserves."
Magnus stepped forward first, placing his hands on the orb. It glowed brightly, a deep blue light emanating from within. The light pulsed, filling the courtyard with its intensity. The onlookers gasped, clearly impressed.
"Your magical capacity is indeed remarkable," Elandor said.
Next, it was Nyx's turn. She hesitated for a moment, then placed her hands on the orb. Almost immediately, the crystal blazed with a blinding white light, illuminating the entire courtyard. The light grew brighter and brighter, forcing many to shield their eyes. Gasps and murmurs of astonishment filled the air.
Elandor's eyes widened. "Incredible... Your magical capacity is off the charts, unlike anything I've ever seen."
Finally, Aric stepped up to the orb. He placed his hands on it, and a faint, flickering light appeared. The light was so dim it was barely visible. The crowd fell silent for a moment before a ripple of laughter spread through the onlookers.
"Well, it seems our dragon slayer is not much of a mage," one adventurer joked.
Aric grinned good-naturedly, shrugging off the laughter. "I leave the magic to the experts," he said, winking at Nyx and Magnus. The crowd laughed even harder, their initial amusement turning into a shared moment of camaraderie.
Elandor smiled, clearly amused. "Magic isn't everything, Aric. Your skills are valuable in their own right."
As they were led inside to complete their registration, Nyx allowed herself a small smile. This was the beginning of a new chapter—one step closer to reclaiming her kingdom and protecting it from the threats that had haunted her. With Aric and Magnus by her side, she felt ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
