The End of Apocrypha
A Fate Worse than Death 2

A Fate Worse than Death 2

"Let the show begin!" The stranger said with a grin.

Then he took his parents, placed them in front of him, and said...

"You want your son to be free of suffering, correct?" he asks, a broad grin on his face. "Then I'll torture you both while he watches!"

They had gloomy expressions on their faces. It is true that their son would not feel pain, but his psyche would suffer the most.

The guy then begins to chop his mother's fingers gruesomely.

His mother cried, "AAHHH!!!"

"Yes! Scream even louder, HAHAHA! " The stranger roared in laughter.

"Don't fucking harm them, you bastard, I killed that creature outside, take me instead," Nathan screamed, his eyes welling up with tears.

"But it'd be rude of me if I turned down your parents' offer, correct?" The Stranger joked.

Nathan yelled out, "Just please stop!"

"You see, kid, the most agonizing punishment isn't death or torture; it's watching someone get slain in front of your eyes," the stranger chuckled.

Nathan felt powerless; he couldn't even close his eyes or move to get out of his situation. All he could do was cry and implore God to help him, but the God he begged for assistance was the one who was causing this to mankind. He could only stand there and watch as his mother cried in agony and his father awaited his turn.

"Oh, Lord, why have you forsaken us?" Nathan said, quietly.

"Hahaha Yes, that's right, our master has abandoned all of you!" laughed the stranger.

"But why?!" Nathan exclaimed.

"Because humans are a menace, and giving you all the freedom to live would be too dangerous," the stranger said this time, his expression serious.

"A danger to God?!?! How is that even possible?!" Nathan exclaimed.

But the stranger ignored his words, and his mother was in excruciating pain. The stranger severed all of his mother's fingers and proceeded to devour them.

"Well, that tastes better than I thought, but this kind of torture is starting to bore me,"

He then murdered his mother by stabbing her in the heart with his bare hands, causing her to bleed and die in agony.

When Nathan saw his mother's lifeless body, he screamed, "I'll remember this fucking day you bastard, remember my exact fucking words, YOU WILL PAY!!!"

"HAHAHA, I'm sure that day will come," the stranger jokingly responded to his threats before continuing, "Now next on the chopping board will be the father,"

Nathan's father froze in place when he saw his wife tortured and slain in front of him, not because he was afraid, but because he hated himself for not being a strong enough husband to defend his family. He was meant to be the man of the house, but he let the stranger torment his wife while their child watched, and now he was filled with guilt and despair.

The author's narrative has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.

"Hey look, your father has already lost the will to resist, HAHA" The creature roared in laughter, then continued, "Don't worry, I'll try to make this a little bit interesting."

The Creature muttered the word "Ignis" and then a flame that looked like it could devour everything that appeared on his hand.

"You see this flame?" The stranger grinned.

He then threw the blazing fire into the body of Nathan's father...

"AHHHH!!!" His father cried out.

"Well, this is really interesting, HAHA" The stranger laughed as if he was experimenting on someone.

His father's body had been engulfed by the flames, and he was now slowly turning to ash. It was far more excruciating than his mother's agony since his father's entire body was engulfed in flames. And the man stood there watching it all happen, grinning as his victims screamed.

He was a sadistic creature to the core.

Nathan questioned, sobbing and outraged at the same time, "YOU VILE MONSTER! What's your name!? "

The stranger then looked around to see where the vile monster was and asked sarcastically,

"Me?"

"Yes! YOU, YOU FUCKING MONSTER! "

"There is no need for me to offer you my name because you will most likely die here," the stranger says, pausing to stare at the dead creature outside, "but since you are courageous and deserving of my attention, you may have my name as a fitting gift this time."

The stranger then makes an unusual posture by bending and placing his hand on his chest.

"I am one of the Archons that God created, and my lord granted me the name of Yaldabaoth, The Archon of Truth," he said proudly.

"Yaldabaoth?"

"Yes, you are correct, and now that's done, we will continue with the process," he said, grinning.

Nathan's father died slowly and was reduced to ash, which made Nathan feel glad because his father and his mother are now safe in the afterlife. But the dreadful memory of his parents dying in front of him in a dreadful manner continues to plague him, and the worst thing is that all he did was cry and beg the creature to stop. He desires vengeance but is helpless to do so.

Just as he was waiting for his turn to be tormented to death, the creature shouted at Raphael, who was just watching the whole scene unfold.

"Raphael!!,"

Raphael was irritated and said, "What?"

"I just thought of something even more interesting," He then paused to wait for Raphael's reply, but she literally ignored him. He then continues,

"What if humans witness their parents die in front of them a hundred times, no no no, that would be too hasty, how about 1000 times?"

When Nathan heard this, he felt his heart shattered even more; witnessing his parents' deaths once was horrible enough, but now the fucking monster of a creature wanted to resurrect them and murder them a thousand times was much worse. That would suffocate his own psyche with sorrow and despair.

"Hey hey hey hey, don't do that; haven't you already tormented me?" Nathan exclaimed, his expression panicked.

"Raphael, it looks like our test subject is up for the task," Yaldabaoth ignored him, then instructed Raphael to revive them.

Raphael, not wanting to argue with Yaldabaoth, did as she was ordered because it was such a simple task for her, and then proceeded to resurrect them. The ashes on the ground were restored into a human, and Nathan's mother's finger and wounds were entirely healed.

"Son, run away from here as fast as you can."

"Son, don't look at me. I beg of you."

His parents said to him after they were resurrected:

"Hey, kid, watch this,"

Yaldabaoth then threw them up in the sky...

"YOU FUCKING BASTARD!!!!!!!!!!" Nathan exclaimed.

After a while, his parents can be seen falling from the sky, screaming their lungs out, and then being smashed to the ground. Their blood and organs were all over the place, and their bodies were once again lifeless.

"Please, I'll do anything you want, just please end this!" Nathan begged while crying at Yaldabaoth, but he replied.

"Do anything? Really? " He then grinned evilly and said, "Watch your parents perish 999 times more."

Just like Yaldabaoth had just stated, he really wanted to kill them in front of his eyes 1,000 times. When it came to killing or torturing his victims, Yaldabaoth was quite imaginative. After throwing them into the sky, he began cutting their limbs one by one, forcing them to drink a liquid that melted their insides, slowly decapitating their heads and focusing on how long they could survive with their necks damaged. He even forced them to kill each other, but Nathan's parents refused to comply, so he was forced to hold the knife in Nathan's mother's hand and stab the father with it. I've only detailed a small portion of the scene, but it was so terrifying that even Raphael had to turn away at points.

Nathan, on the other hand, had to endure everything without blinking. He tried to move but couldn't, he tried to close his eyes to avoid seeing the horrific scene but he couldn't, and he tried to bite his tongue to kill himself in order to not watch his parents get butchered, but he couldn't. True, death was preferable to all of this; dying right now was preferable to seeing your loved ones die a thousand times. After 400 times he could no longer talk, 700 times he could no longer cry, and 1000 times he couldn't see anything in front of him except blood, his spirit was entirely destroyed.

"HAHAHA, well, that was fun," Yaldabaoth said before turning to face him, "don't you agree, boy?"

Nathan was staring at nothing and saying nothing. Nothing was on his mind at the moment; he had given up on revenge and everything else. Because witnessing a loved one die a thousand times in front of you and then doing nothing but watching can genuinely shatter a human spirit. Even if he wanted to take revenge, how would he achieve that?

"Yal, this human has had enough of your tricks. It's time to send him to Barbelo."

"Yea, yea, yea, do whatever you want with him," Yaldabaoth said nonchalantly. "I'm done with my experiment anyway," Yaldabaoth added.

Nathan was still dazed and couldn't hear anything until the angel approached him.

"Good luck on your next life, human,"

She then executed him, but unlike Yaldabaoth, she did so quickly so that he would no longer be in pain. Nathan was instantaneously killed as she pierced his brain.
