This is a short update to say I have done a major update/change to the first two chapters of this series and would like if you would go and see if you enjoy it more or if you have seen this before and want to give it a chance. Either way, if you could provide some feedback that would be very helpful.
Thank you.
Here is the first part of Chapter 1:
Orion stirred, his eyes fluttering open to take in the dimly lit room around him. Everything seemed so much larger than he remembered, and he found himself lying on a soft bed with a musty scent. He tried to sit up, but his limbs felt strangely weak and uncooperative. Panic began to bubble up inside him as he realized something was very, very wrong.
He looked around, noticing the sun shining brightly through the cracks in the wooden shutters. His body felt different, small and weak, and everything around him appeared much larger than it should have been. The furniture was enormous, and he could barely see over the edge of the bed he was lying on. He also noted the worn blanket covering him, suggesting the family's humble circumstances.
As the fear and confusion intensified, a gentle voice whispered in his ear, "Calm yourself, Orion. All is well."

Orion's racing heart slowed a little, and he felt some of the fear lift away. He tried to focus on the voice, but it seemed distant and ethereal, like a fading memory. Struggling to make sense of his situation, Orion tried to recall his past, but everything seemed hazy and distant as soon as he tried.
The door to his room creaked open, revealing a woman who entered with a warm smile on her face. "Good morning, Orion," she said softly, her eyes filled with affection. "How are you feeling today?"
Orion hesitated before responding, still struggling to comprehend what was happening. "Who are you?" he asked cautiously, his voice sounding tiny and unfamiliar to his ears.
The woman's smile wavered for a moment, concern etched into her features. "I'm Elena, your mother," she replied, her voice soothing despite the uncertainty in her eyes. "You must still be feeling a bit under the weather from your fever."
Orion watched as Elena moved around the room, tidying up and opening the shutters to let in more light. As she worked, he couldn't help but feel a sense of disconnect, as if she were a stranger despite her claim of being his mother. This feeling only deepened as he spent more time with Elena and the man named Gregor, who claimed to be his father.
Both Elena and Gregor appeared tired and worn, their faces etched with lines of hardship and stress. Their conversations were strained, their love for each other evident but marred by the weight of their troubles. Orion could sense the cracks in their marriage and their financial struggles.
As he tried to adapt to what was happening and surroundings, Orion was plagued by fragmented memories from a previous life as a man named Jake. These memories were fleeting, however, and he struggled to piece together the larger truths of his former existence but whenever he tried to think about them a fog seemed to cover them in his mind.
