- Congratulations, you have received the skill, Motivating Speech. -
With this final skill, I finally completed the one quest I have had for the longest time.
- Noble Class Quest:
You have entered a unique instance for a nobleman. This instance will save your progress after finishing the initial series of battles. During these battles, you will learn about leadership, cunning, people management, delegation, and other minor skills any nobleman must possess.
Tasks:
Learn 6 Noble Class Skills (6/6)
Complete the initial series of battles (10/10)
Rewards: 1 X Small Chest of Wealth, 1 X Noble's Garb
Failure: N/A
Note: Rewards have been lowered due to the lack of skills learned during the trial. Rewards will continue to be reduced based on how long it takes to complete the quest. Due to completing the battles, failure of this task is no longer an option.
Time Taken: 12 Days 0 Hours 22 Minutes 23 Seconds -
Looking at how long it has taken me, I can only sigh in dissatisfaction at myself for not being able to complete it sooner. Pushing the notifications off to the side, I am grateful to finish that ticking quest finally. The rewards were sent to the Lord's Chest, and I focused on the gathering before me.
"Let's summon the population and then level up the settlement."
Saying this, we stepped outside, and the councilors opened the summoning scrolls in front of the manor. Out of the 20 people that stepped through the portals, we got a solid mix of people. The lowest count is from Laxreal's world of Thelatera, where only three figures walked out. Culhara had four figures, and Usa'Nov and Troberia had six and seven, respectively.
With everyone there to welcome them into the settlement, we informed them briefly about our current situation and hoped they would help us with our goals. There were some jeers about how young I was and how they were fine in their worlds. Most people are skeptical and don't settle in immediately, which is to be expected.
Not wanting to handle these people but needing to, I stand by the side as the four councilors and my three commanders talk and keep trying to settle the people. It doesn't take long before some of the other settlers come up and start to separate them into groups that would be manageable by those already here—sighing at how exhausting it is to do this. I head back inside and look at leveling up the settlement and myself.
- Settlement Tasks:
Have a population of 70 (82/70)
Have 5 settlers at level 6 or higher (12/5)
Optional Tasks:
Have 10 settlers with professions at level 5 (30/10)
Would you like to level up the settlement? Yes/No -
Selecting 'Yes,' I look at the next set of settlement tasks.
- Settlement Tasks:
Have a total population of 100 (82/100)
Have at least one settler complete their class or profession upgrade (0/1)
Note: These tasks can not be skipped. Upon completion, the settlement will receive an advancement quest to progress to the next settlement tier. -
I can't be happier that we are at the point of advancing the settlement. I want to inform everyone about this pleasant news, but knowing I have more things to do, I will hold off and tell them at the next meeting. If I run into them, I will keep an eye out for those getting close to level 10.
Heading upstairs, I gather the bags of experience I received from the dungeon and two additional bags that have been doing nothing. Once I have them in hand, I closely examine them.

Watching my stats increase with my levels always makes me happy. Considering the problem with the goblins, I quickly reacted to their presence in the settlement. Considering they are only goblins, and Shadow doesn't seem overly concerned about them, I figured after another day of rest for me, giving the newcomers time to adapt to the settlement. We could get to work on clearing them out.
I will go about my business for the afternoon, set up new houses for everyone who just arrived, and then head to the enchanting building for the first time in at least a week. I focus on my enchanting.
After a couple of hours, I finally managed to get the last of the different sigils through their initial pattern. With the finalization of the pattern, I will give the various paths it can take to progress and receive 100 experiences as an enchanter.
- Tool Paths:
Path of the Failure
Path of the Skillful
Path of the Efficient -
With all of the different sigils completed, I get another notification similar to my initial one when it comes to choosing whether to pick the paths or if I want more options.
- Congratulations, you have completed the basic sigils for eight enchanting sigils. Would you like to generate more basic sigils? Yes/No -
Once again, I select 'Yes,' and the following four sets of sigils appear.
-Congratulations, you have received the basic sigil for:
Auxiliary Building
Habitation Building
Profession Building
Furnishing -
Looking at these four sets, I can only guess what they would provide. So, instead of thinking, I focus on completing them as quickly as possible. It doesn't take me long to complete the elemental sigils due to my experience with the other eight and my high mana pool.
- Auxiliary Building:
Path of Spatial Expansion
Path of Communication
Path of Durability
Habitation Building:
Path of Resistance
Path of Spatial Expansion
Path of Comfort
Profession Building:
Path of Focus
Path of Regeneration
Path of Illusions
Furnishing:
Path of Comfort
Path of Repair
Path of Resistance -
Looking at the time, I noticed it was 7 pm, and I needed to head back so I could eat. Another thing that caught my attention was the new notification I got when I completed the 'Furnishing' enchantment sigil.
- Congratulations, you have completed all four of the basic sigils. Please expand your sigil library by discovering more sigils on your own or following the paths of the sigils you have completed.
Reward: You can now access your sigil library from your menus. -
Curious that I didn't have access to this option from the start, I looked at the menus, and it makes me glad that I spent the time to get all of these sigils at 100%. The menu looks like a spiderweb with the different sigils I have completed in the middle glowing, and from the glowing sigils, there are lines headed to the different paths I can take. Each node has three paths, and those with a similar path, like the 'Path of Durability,' are all near each other but aren't connected. This makes me curious if I must continue the path several times now compared to what I thought earlier. The only way to find out is to complete the path with one of the sets of sigils.
Finishing those four sigils and the experience they gave pushed my level up to ten. Then, I received a notification.
- Congratulations, you have reached the level cap for a novice enchanter.
Profession Quest: Practice Makes Perfect
You have leveled up your enchanting through the theory of creating the different sigils. To progress in your enchanting, it is time for you to practice. Preparing items, engraving the sigils on those items, and then fusing the corresponding materials to create your finished product.
Tasks:
Successfully create 12 different items: (0/12)
Reward: Title of Apprentice Enchanter. Continue leveling your profession -
Stepping out of the enchanting hut, I head back to my manor to rest for the evening.
