The Emergence C-01

Telekinesis, the production of motion on objects with no physical contact or interaction, so many possibilities and applications. I could clean my room within seconds. While also moving cars to clear a path I could also hold cars to stop car accidents. I could join the police and save so many people! it would be possible to stop bullets, save falling people, rescue people from being crushed or stuck under objects. I could fly and help anyone I see. so, so many possibilities. I could be the new superman more like superwomen.

Why did no on--

"Sarah."

Throwing me out of my daydream I realised where I was. I was in a university lecture well technically I was the one holding the lecture surprisingly. I got a chance to hold a presentation in front of my class of Biology. There was around four dozen classmates and the teacher in this class the number attending was relatively small compared to my other classes almost at 200 people in one room. It was quite amazing how many people can fit inside one room and all learn something new. The chance for all of them to improve their knowledge on their selected fields. Universities are really a unique experience where else can you say you are sitting surrounded with hundreds of people all with the same goal and motivation to learn and improve their undestanding of the world.

"Sarah!"

Realizing I started getting sidetracked again my Lecturer is getting slightly annoyed with me. I looked at her Ms. Sophia the replica of what you would expect to see if you walk into a large Law-firm and you were invited there for a meeting she would kindly ask you to take a seat and if you would like any tea or coffee while waiting. She was wearing a black skirt with high heels in a black blouse her black hair was tied into a bun without a single strand poking out the image of perfection.

She slightly adjusted her glasses and said "Sarah, are you listening?" I slightly noded my head

This story has been taken without authorization. Report any sightings.

Shaking her head exasperated "Alright then you should start your presentation finally, you've been staring at the desk for the last few minutes." she keept staring at me expectantly.

Slightly embarrassed I hurriedly connected my laptop to the cable and got the slides to show on the projector. I quickly looked up and immediately spotted one of my friends sitting in the second row staring back at me with a shit-eating grin. Even more embarrassed I hurriedly started my presentation.

The projector turned on and showed everyone in the class the title of my presentation 'The Emergence of plastic pollution and its affects on our daily lives' It is a mouth full but I think it's still better than 'Plastic pollution, its causes a study into our daily lives and how we are poisoning our world.'

"I'm going to talk about The Emer-"

The presentation went surprisingly well I got quite a few questions asked and interacted with my classmates it was fun and interesting when you need to prepare for a topic that you care about and you can put in effort and dedication, it was suprisingly easier than preparing for something like the effects of crabs on our lives. Which I still don't understand.

"Any more questions?"

I was finally finishing up with a question and answer part of the presentation everything really did go surprisingly well. A black guy wearing a yellow t-shirt raised his hand. It seemed like one of my classmates has one more question it was another of my classmates that I can't remember neither their face nor name.

"Yes, you in the yellow t-shirt?" I pointed at him

He said something I could see him moving his mouth and saying something but I couldn't understand him.

"What? Can you say that again?" That's when I noticed something wasn't right.

He was saying something but all I noticed was how the room was starting to spin and black started to seep in at the edges of my vision, terrified I looked at my professor she was looking at me inquisitorially.

That's when I noticed something was wrong. Everything clicks, there was a loud buzzing in my ears that was starting to hurt.

She said something I can't make out. I tried to feel my hands and legs and I felt nothing, scared I tried to look down but couldn't. All that I could see was my teacher slightly afraid staring at me while continuing to say something.

Terrified I tried to move or do anything all. Suddenly all I could see is my vision falling presumably with my body to the ground and then it all turned black.

The last thing I saw before the black consumed all of my vision is my teacher rushing towards me trying to catch me falling.....
