Ervian clicked his tongue. That was just his way of processing things swiftly at the moment. "Must you really do that?" He crossed his arms.
"Of course. Well, it's just a habit from Gramps. It helped me in the learning process." She put a nasty smirk at the end.
Ervian let out another sigh. "Fine. I'll take some air, then."
He just immediately sat down, leaning against a tree near him and falling into the thought of his own.
'So, apparently the Necrolyte was able to leak its aura. This is greatly concerning if I happen to be in public spaces.'
'There's also Leriat too. If I couldn't find that grandson of Claire, the outlook isn't very promising.'
"We haven't eaten anything since we left the inn, have we?" Adelle stood up.
Ervian hummed with a nod. He did not bother to get up yet. "Let me have a look since my Sensus has recovered."
Adelle just shrugged her shoulders in response. "You just recovered."
"No worries."
Ervian focused his mind and tapped into the full potential of his Sensus, stretching its range up to the limit allowed by his Vis level.
With his Sensus, he visualized a fan-shaped area and scanned the distance of thirty miles ahead of him.
Despite the somewhat unclear imagery, Ervian was able to conserve his Vis reserve. This allowed him to discern the basic shape of everything his Sensus perceived.
He made turns until he covered 360 degrees. It took him under five minutes to fully comprehend the information on that search area.
As Ervian expanded his Sensus, he could see that the area ahead of him was mostly covered by dense forests and vast plains.
Beside the presence of people at the Rumabel outpost, he also noticed two other individuals in the far-off forest, but they were beyond his reach on foot.
At the moment, there was nothing too suspicious about the two people he noticed in the forest.
They were simply striding their way through the bushes and seemed to be going about their business.
"Agh."
Suddenly, a piercing ringing sound filled Ervian's ears, accompanied by a throbbing headache that pounded against his temples.
"H-hey. Don't tell me that it happened again. I told you to take a break."
On the contrary, Ervian felt a slight surge of power coursing through his body after the headache had subsided.
"Heh, but this time it felt ... different."
The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.
Ever since the incident with the abyssal tentacles in his Venevisium realm, Ervian had been feeling a sensation inside him, as if there was water waiting to be pumped out of a pipe.
The moment he used his Vis, the water in the pipe began to rise. So, he consumed his Vis in order to raise this water until it flowed out of the pipe.
Now, the moment had arrived when the water spewed forth in full force.
"What do you mean, different?"
Ervian let his actions speak louder than his words as he accumulated a dark-gray Vis at his fingertip, the same color as the Aspect of Inanis, though it wasn't Inanis.
He shot the Vis towards a nearby rock, which didn't blast apart like it would with Impetus. Instead, after a loud thudding sound, cracks formed across the entire surface of the rock.
"That cracking ... it's chaos, Aspect of chaos, Eversio. But what you went through wasn't Aspect awakening, was it?"
Ervian nodded in agreement. "It felt more like something that had been sealed was released."
He reached his Vis system in his mind to have deeper understanding.
—
Bearer: Ruvian Lucentin.

—
Ervian felt a sense of relief as he checked his Vis level and Vis Pool, which had finally returned to their original values.
He was also grateful for this new Aspect he had acquired, but it was also a reminder of the potential dangers that might pose.
'It would be very useful if it was Ordo. But Eversio too could help me break things more silently than Impetus that would produce a loud bang.’'
After all that had happened, he then remembered there was something that was also important with help of his Sensus vision data earlier.
He then summoned his sword, its blade coated in a purple glow of Praecantatio. With a flick of his wrist, the sword flew through the trees, slicing through the air with precision.
After a moment, he called it back to him, and it had pierced through an adult rabbit, bringing it back to his feet.
With a fresh catch in hand, Ervian smiled proudly, knowing that he had lunch ready to be cooked.
"Alright, I'll get the fire."
The scent of roasted rabbit filled their nostrils as the smoke steadily blew out, trying to find their way among the tree canopies.
Adelle and Ervian made sure to fill their stomachs, savoring every bite of the meal. It was pleasing thanks to the salt that Adelle brought with her.
"So, what was about Necrolyte that you wanted to talk about?"
"Finally willing to listen, eh?"
Adelle rolled her eyes on the offending tone and just went on chewing.
"Alright, if anything like that dark aura emanated again—"
"Yea, yeah. I'll have to use my Ordo again, right? It was the same as what I did to that vial way back at the cottage."
"Mm-hmm ... eff whaf vial?"
"The one that Gramps brought it to your face at that time you were tied on the floor. "
"Oh, that. So you really weren't afraid of Necrolyte?"
"Well, if Gramps weren't, then why should I?"
"Hmm."
'Wow, if I were her and with my current knowledge about Necrolyte I gained through battling them. Big no, no, I would stay away from that reanimation. Unfortunately, it happened to be my own self who got reanimated. Sigh, how am I supposed to run away from myself?!'
Ervian stood up, finished with his meal. "Okay, I got your point now. You sure are eager to throw away your life, huh?"
"Hahaha, count me in."
"Alright, let's head back to King's Road ... and look for this 'Leriat' on our way. It's fated that we cross paths with him."
