FOREWORD

When I first thought of this idea, it was from watching Avatar: The Last Airbender and Legend of Korra respectively. I felt that given the limitations of the universe and what I know about modern technology, if they made the connection it was possible for everyone to unlock a phenomenal capacity from simply understanding the world as a whole. Then I remembered that Hippocrates, when he was laying the foundations for modern medicine, always mentioned that it should be open to improvement and development. Yet, for hundreds of years, doctors followed his rules like they were never made to be broken, explored or even improved because it might be considered blasphemy amongst their peers. So, on that notion, I thought that the best way to describe things is looking at the world as a flat surface instead of a sphere. When you get a high view, you realize the world isn’t flat, it’s got hills, curves, and billions of measurements we don’t even know about. So, why couldn’t magic be the same, a perspective we can find deeper if we look at it from a different point of view. On that note, I hope the story of healing can take more than just life and death, but how things are not always so simple as they appear.
