*Year 1890, December 25—Monad Royal Palace*
“Holy Cow! This place is huge. I have never seen any place like this before. Is this really the palace we are going to live in.”
Shilpi pulled Polaris’s ears.
“Shhh! You are a prince, damn it! Do you want the public to think that the soon-to-be king is a country bumpkin.”
“AHHH! Okay, okay I’ll keep myself calm, just stop pulling my ears mother-in-law.”
“Hey! Don’t call her that, we are not even married yet.”, Heena glared at him.
“It's only a matter of time anyway.”
“Keep Quiet both of you, let's move inside. They must be waiting for us. But I wonder there are no guards here. The security is too loose.”
The three of them entered the palace without any obstruction. As they walked inside, Polaris and Heena admired the palace architecture with great excitement. Shilpi smiled, seeing them happy and enthusiastic.
As they got closer to the king’s court, a sudden chill went down their spine. I felt like an ominous and powerful spiritual energy was crushing their insides. The closer they went, the thick the pressure became. It became tiring to even walk. They mustered all their strength and reached the king’s court to see dead bodies lying all around. The old king, the Supreme One and along with the king's guards and several of his courts man. They body were unsightly and couldn’t be seen by a sane person.
“ACKCKCK! What is this, how did this happen?! Who did this?!”, Shilpi screamed. The other two puked their insides the instant they laid eyes on the blood and violence.
“AHA! Welcome back, young lads. I see, you liked my betrothal gift. Unfortunately, the king didn’t agree with it, so I had to kill him. But don’t worry, it’s not like any of you would live, either.”, The shadow king appeared from behind the king’s throne.
“Wh… Who… WHO ARE YOU?!”, Shilpi screamed in agony.
“Oh my, my, was that a question or a threat or maybe…”, Scribble grinned, “You’re just annoyed that I didn’t mention your parents.”
As soon as She heard those words, Shilpi’s body paralysed with fear. Her spiritual pressure stated to leak out of her body. Her mind went blank, as if she was asleep, but her body was moving.
Shilpi went berserk, she pounced towards the throne by creating a thrust in her feet. But she was caught in her tracks just before she could even touch the king. The monsters held her under the trap that was set up before they arrived at the courtroom. Shilpi started to cry in pain as the trap squeezed out every ounce of spiritual energy from her body.
“Now that the bait has been caught, I believe you might as well give up bef…”
A sudden thrust of spiritual pressure mixed with intense bloodlust interrupted Scribble. The monsters were immediately pummelled to the ground like ants. The ground below the king’s feet shattered, and it became harder to breathe. Scribble could barely manage to keep himself on his feet.
“It would be better for you, if you release my mother this instant and apologize for all you did until now, because… YOU MIGHT NOT WANT TO SEE HELL TWICE.”
“OH! YOU THINK YOU HAVE THE ABILITY TO DO THAT!”, Scribble released his spiritual pressure. The moment he released his spiritual pressure, a giant gust of wind ran through the palace and broke all the windows. The colourful glass dome above the courtroom shattered into thin sand. His spiritual pressure was so overwhelming that Heena plopped on her knees and blood started coming out of her eyes.
A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation.
Polaris, who had been helpless in this whole fight between big shots, was blown away by the giant gust of wind earlier. He somehow managed to crawl and reached beside Heena.
His eyes could not believe that Heena’s spiritual pressure which was already so overwhelming was this easily neutralized by a mere teenager.
But as soon as he saw blood coming out of Heena’s eyes, he felt a sudden rush in his body. The blood in his arteries was pumping at blitzing speed as his heart was beating loudly. His face became red and veins were clearly visible on his face. His face went blank and a deep shadow was cast on it. A dark aura cloud formed around his full body. His body started floating along with the cloud.
‘What is happening with this guy? He is releasing such a large amount of spiritual energy, but it doesn’t even feel like it.’, Scribble thought to himself.
But he was confident in his skills. He knew no one can ever surpass him or defeat him. He started walking confidently towards Heena as she kneeled on the ground. Her mouth was wide open and she was drooling. It looked like she was in deep sleep. Blood stopped coming out of her eyes.
Scribble stood in front of her and crouched down. “So how does it feel, miss goddess. How does it feel to be overwhelmed by the power of a mere human!”, he started laughing hysterically. “I am sure you feel like shit! Come on, tell me. I mean, you were with them when they cursed me with this immortality. Don’t you feel any remorse, don’t you want to kill me too?”, he flicked with his index finger on her head. But immediately, Heena fell on the ground. She was no more breathing. The immense thrust of Scribble’s spiritual pressure crushed her heart.
“OH NO! How can you be so weak.”, Scribble kicked hard in Heena’s stomach. Her body burst into small pieces and her blood spread all over his body. “Damn it! Your weak ass spoiled the complete show.”
Scribble looked in his side, the young lady’s lover was enveloped in a black cocoon made entirely of black smoke.
“I guess I would have to make do with him.”, Scribble tried to head towards Polaris, but his body froze. He felt like somebody stopped the flow of time. He looked around and saw everything at a standstill. The only thing that was still moving were the clouds surrounding Polaris.
Suddenly the time started flowing again but somehow, Scribble was far away from the place he earlier was. He blinked his eyes and tried to rub them, but he couldn’t feel his hands. He tried again and again, and he saw in front of him, the black cocoon was nowhere to be found. But he could see a headless body. It took him a while to realize that he no more had a body, but still he was alive because of his immortality. Still, he cried loudly in pain. He tried to look, who was holding his head. But he couldn’t see anything.
“DON’T WORRY, YOU WON’T LIVE LONG.”, a croaking voice with a menacing tone spoke, and suddenly the one holding Scribble’s head threw him on the ground. The head burst into a lot of blood and bones.
It was Polaris who did this. But he looked different now, his eyes were red, and his face could hardly be seen due to the shadow cast on it. His poorly shaped body now had muscles all over it with no clothes to cover his skin.
He screamed in a loud voice, “HEENAAAAAAA!”
The moon lost its light and now the shadow had been cast all over him. Polaris had no clue what he's going to do now. He sat down in the place as tears fell down his cheeks.
Suddenly, sparkles of light emerged from Heena’s dead body and appeared in front of Polaris. They entered his body. His whole body started illuminating. He tried to control what was happening, but his body started to float towards the sky.
As he crossed the ceiling of the palace, suddenly a light emerged outside his body. The light brought along with itself, thunder, wind, and lightening. It covered the entire palace and broke it down into small pieces.
“Come with me Polaris, this Dysfunctional world was so improperly made that it can’t withstand itself. The Gods who created it have discarded it.”
“WHO IS SPEAKING!”
“It’s me, HEENA! I am the goddess and caretaker of this world. But now that it is going to be destroyed, I want you to come with me.”
“HEENA! HEENA, I will come anywhere with you,”, Polaris sobbed, “Don’t leave me alone, I love you and I can’t live without you or die without you.”
“Tee hee! You never change.”
As soon as the voice of Heena disappeared from his mind, a blast of radiation came out of Polaris’s body, which engulfed the entire planet. Everything was dead.
As Polaris opened his eyes, he could see bright light around him. His head rested on a soft cushion like surface.
“Are you awake, dear?!”
He could never forget this voice.
“Yeah! A very bad dream just ended.”
