Chapter 3: Skytower. (Jason POV until further notice)

...the Challenge Zone!"

"YES!" shouted Jake.

Zac looked disappointed but was ready. Jason didn't really know what to expect.

Teleporting....

Teleporting completed. All 12+(1) successfully completed.

Welcome to the beginning of the rest of your run.

Good luck.

Day 1

All three of them were immediately scanning the area and saw the three other groups. Two immediately took off, running towards the tower. The last group approached them cautiously. Jason scanned them.

The Limitless Titan.

Inexhaustible and unstoppable. Limitless as a white hole.

The Blood Legion.

Once a snuffed destiny, this phoenix rose from the ashes.

The Spatial Snowstorm.

A simple fox, defying her bloodline to transform into the cold black depths of space.

Colin immediately leaped out of Jason, looking at the phoenix.

"Who the fuck are you? You smell like fire, traitor."

She looked hurt by those words. Titan stepped in front of him.

"Who the fuck do you think you are to say that? My wife chose that. If you can't deal with that, go away. We can't fight here, but I'll remember you. Come on guys, let's go."

They ran off the the tower. Jason looked at it, noting the hundred floors. Most were purple, but some were dark, indicating that a team was there. He looked over the edge of the platform they were on. There was a roiling wave of bright purple energy as far as he could sense.

"I'd say falling down there would be a bad idea," he said.

"Yeah, no kidding," said Zac.

They followed the others towards the tower. When they entered, they were greeted with a screen.

You are currently at the lobby.

Teleportation options

Merchant Floor.

Sparring Room.

Meditation Floor.

Challenge 1: The Endless Labyrinth.

Challenge 2: Gauntlet of Gales

Challenge 3: Sauron's Infernal Descent.

and 97 more.

"Let's choose three options each. One per day and one spare day," said Jake. Jason nodded at the idea.

"Yeah, let's do that," agreed Zac. Jason scrolled through the options, noting the ones he liked the look of. After a few minutes they had decided all nine challenges they were going to do.

Challenge 1: The Endless Labyrinth.

Challenge 19: Treetop Apocalypse.

Challenge 22: Break In, Bust Out.

Challenge 33: Rushdown.

Challenge 34: Mushroom Land

Challenge 65: Hide And Kill.

Challenge 78: Titan Toppler.

Challenge 88: Skycoffin

Challenge 91: [Your Floor Here]

"Start from the bottom?" questioned Jake.

"You just want that cause, that's your first choice." pointed out Zac

"We're going to do all of them anyway, so let's just go." said Jason.

The other two glared at each other and nodded. They pressed the first challenge.

An elevator door opened and they stepped into it. It violently shook for a second and opened again. In front of them was a metal hallway. When they stepped out, the doors slammed shut behind them. A screen flashed up in front of them.

Welcome to The Endless Labyrinth.

Run by: Minaga.

Solve the puzzles, find your way around the maze, and find the exit to go to the next floor.

Time limit: 1 day.

In her bountiful generosity, The Amazing Minaga has granted you an extra life in case you fail a floor. Should you die or fail a floor, you will be reset to the beginning.

You may exit at any time.

A relatively ordinary looking man appeared in front of them.

"Hello my brave intrepid explorers. Welcome to th.... You."

"Yeah, me."

"[Fudge]"

Jake turned around and the man started sobbing.

"Zac, Jason, meet Minaga. You're about to find out why my presence make him cry."
