Class Selection is an important step in any young adventurer’s life, for obvious reasons. Typically it becomes available when the individual reaches physical maturity, though it has been known to be accelerated by notable achievements in the individual's early life. Humanoidkind at large swears by the basic options as paths for they have been well explored and many an adventurer has failed due to a lack of basic versatility that these paths consistently provide. Therefore, seeing anyone with classes other than Mage, Warrior, Specialist or Apprentice in the first tier has become somewhat of a rarity, though many well known uncommon classes are picked frequently still. - Classes and Humanoids, Sarah Ford, Class Progression Scholar
With Robert, Emerald and Puck handled, it is time to get to the meat of the matter. Considering that clothes are made of cloth and Sprites are rather ethereal entities, I mean. Mimics were probably my first flesh and blood creatures, now that I think about it. Maybe the Sprites do count, I don’t know enough about their strange anatomy to comment on that, really.
Anyways…
Classes for my Mimics.
Starting with… drumroll please… The one that ate one of those big summons. I mean, obviously.
That is… if they will wake up. Hellooo? I’m gonna need you for this, Mimics.
Well, they do stir, just… slowly. Okay, you don't have to move. I just need you to listen. Are you listening? Great.
Okay, let’s do this.
Monster Class Selections (Mimic):
* Formless Ambusher
* Formless Stalker
* Ferocious Devourer
* Bottomless Maw
Right, any preferences? Can’t be bothered, eh? So, no Stalker at least, cause that implies movement of some kind. Devourer, Ambusher, or Maw?
Still no preference? What? You like eating things? Well, that leaves Devourer and Maw still.
You like eating lots of things?
Bottomless Maw it is. Was that so hard?

Right, now you need a name.
What about… Chester?
You like it? Great.

Stolen content warning: this tale belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences elsewhere.
Passive:
Consume - Level 1
Endless Gluttony - Level 3
Interesting skills there. The passive lets someone eat a lot more than they normally could and improves the effects of buffs from eating.
Synergizing with it, the Active skill gives a buff when eating something, the exact nature of which depends on what is being eaten.
Seems helpful.
Alright, which of you is next?
The Crate or the Jewelry Box?
Crate it is.
Monster Class Selections (Mimic):
* Formless Ambusher
* Formless Stalker
* Mass Shifter
* Battering Ram
Righty-o! You just want Formless Ambusher? Sure thing.

Nice. That Skill is very much self explanatory.
Allright, finally, the last class selection time.
Are you ready?
Monster Class Selections (Mimic):
* Formless Ambusher
* Formless Stalker
* Treasure Mimic
* Gilded Maw
Some strange options here as well.
Any preferences?
Oh, you know what to take already? A decisive mimic, I like it.
Treasure Mimic it is!

Now, for a name… you have a wish? Okay, I’m listening?
You like the name Chester a lot so you want to be called… Boxxane?
I mean… are you sure?
Yes?
All right then. I wash my metaphorical hands off this one.

That one is more or less the exact opposite of Inconspicuous Appearance, making them stand out more.
I'm glad all Class Selections are finally done now, and just in time. As my mannequins rush to inform me, the new room is mostly excavated. It is time to begin furnishing and equipping it, and then assign it a theme.
There is definitely Progress.
As I ruminate on the future, a troop of 4 armed and armored mannequins come running past in lockstep.
I wonder what that's all about…
