Inside The Hallway in Palace Of Dragons ,City Of Aslan

There is an elderly man who is looked anxious.His face is stern ,and He keeps frowning and crosses his hand covering the dragon motive on his red robe while looking outside the windows.

He expects something ,someone's arrival or news from that specific person to be precised . it's been two month since he sends one of his closest disciple into one what others considered a suicidal mission ,yet one of his most trusted disciple agree to do the mission gladfully eventhough he knew that he may not live again to tell anyone about what he encountered .

However what makes that elderly man is anxious is not about whether he will die or not while completing the mission ,if his beloved disciple is found death while on duty he could just forget about this particular mission and not sending another disciple to this mission .What troubling him so much is about the letter he received from this disciple last week ,what's inside the letter is so intriguing and surprising for him that he waited for another letter from this precious disciple as the letter said the disciple will send another letter to him today .

After waiting for quite a while he thought that maybe the letter will not arrive today but tomorrow morning ,so he decided to go back and take a rest at his chamber .He walked toward his chamber which had a silver colored door with an eagle soars in the sky holding a sword with a ribbon above the eagle's head carved on the surface of that silver door . there is a sentence inscribed in the ribbon "The King's Decree is the will of God" .That elderly man smirks while looking at that particular word,"How ridicoulous ...." He mumbles to himself and entering the chamber to take a rest .

His chamber is quite messy with many old document and letter scattering inside it ,but he doesn't mind it at all ,he picks up some of the documents on the floor and putting it on his working table which located beside his big wooden bed.

After a little cleaning up of his room he decided to sleep on his bed and turning of the lamp .

When He finally awoke again it was a midnight and there was a crow holding a letter sitting down at his chamber's window ,at first he wondered why such a mischievious creature resting in the middle of night at his window then he realized that crow is different ,it has a long yellow feather standing atop of his head, therefore Magellan assumes that it was his disciple's familiar .

He look at the scroll with a seal similiar to his door carving ,and realized that it was his long awaited letter from his precious student .He take a candle holder and lit the candle while bringing that letter to his work table ,he opens the letter carefully by removing the seals using a knife because he was too old and afraid to hurt himself or the content within the letter ,He read the content within the letter very slowly and carefully

"Greeting O Wise teacher

It's I your humble student Reginald, who admire you and adore you the most of all thing. It's been two month since you sent me to this particular mission and therefore i have to give a repport and a warning .

First i must address that the affair between our holy kingdom of Alamore with the empire of Balmulk is still the same as always ,the emperor Nero himself is still quite cooperative with our cause and will continue to support our holy kingdom as long as we didn't interfere with their magic research .Well they also demand that our great project should be finished this year or they will stop donating to our kingdom ,i know it's not a good time to talk about that matters right now when the person responsible for that project has gone missing for about a year now .

Second ,One of our biggest concern regarding Prince Marduk c'oup de etat plan to overthrow our king is proven to be false and just a baseless rumor according to his aide ,the reason why he stayed for quite a while in the Kingdom of Masyaf is to learn about the rich history and culture he could find there ,but i still doubt that's the end story of our little prince .Because back then he had a bad track record for his sucession to the throne.

However ,That's not all what i hear

Master i want you to be prepared for what about to come after this ,because 'They' are already on the move and from what i can see their movement is different than the usual.'They ' already infiltrated the capital city of Balmulk Empire under the disguise of a mere merchant ,but what they sell is something even beyond our imagination ,they sell a ramshod* to the poor and sometimes even giving it for free for no logical reason others than charity.I think they prepared for something bad for the future,luckily the guards in the capital city quickly realised that and arrest them so they can't continue doing this kind of methods .

For achieving more information i already prepared to infiltrate one of their hideout which i found near the capital city ,hopefully i could bring you another details about what they are up to ,but that for another story .

Master i suggest you to start taking action right now before the storm hit even our holy kingdom

The old man is furious .

"Ramshod ??! Damn it ! Ramshod ! How low can you guys be ???? "

The reason why he is so furious is obvious ,the single word," Ramshod" .It was a kind of herb which was used by many magician back in the old days to conduct an experiment using a life speciment like a rat or sometimes cattle ,however since one hundred years ago it was prohibited to be used after the meeting of remaining magician which still lived by that time .The reason why it became a forbidden herbs was quite complex ,but mostly due to the fact that some heretic magician start using it to the people causing them to have incredible strength and stamina but lose all their mind and after a week one by one the human speciment will die if not consuming another ramshod .

He hit his table with his fist causing the candle holder shaking violently ,He stands up and walk to exit his chamber.After arriving to the hallway he yelled "Guards ! Guards ! "

The Guards in heavy armor coming to the hallway approaching him ,"What can we do ,lord Magellan ?"asked by the commander of the guards .

"Gather Up all the member of Ouroboros ,this is an emergency " The Old man said unto them

The Guards didn't bother to question Magellan why he ordered them to gather all of Ouroboros's Member in the middle of the night ,they already knew him who are a great magician and grand master of Ouroboros .Ouroboros is a high council of all magician which scattered throughout the Alamore .Althought the member of Ouroboros is a little compared to any of other organization within the kingdom ,they have many privileges that was not given to any of other organization or association in the kingdom ,especially regarding the privileges to conduct magic research for the benefit of their kingdom.

The Castle Guards Comander,Alphonse then gathering all the nearest royal guard and start instructing them to summon all of the Ouroboros's member in behalf of Lord Magellan .Some of them has to go to Ouroboros member residence and the others have to prepare for the coming of Ouroboros member .

That night is a busy night ,even the royal guard has to alert the already exhausted buttlers and maids to prepare for the upcoming meeting .The guards,the maid ,and buttler have to make sure the entire palace is clean and neat .the cooks are busy preparing the food to be served after the meeting .

When The Sun rises , the guards already stand in line by the gate while keeping a lookout on the coming entourage and chariots of Ourobros's member .They're being uneasy because this is the first time their lord Magellan giving up such an order to them ,they hold their spear and shield tightly as if waiting for the upcoming enemy .

One of the guard spot from a distance a dozen of entourage coming toward the palace ,he hurriedly report to the castle guard commander ,Alphonse. The guards quickly open the gate after receiving such an information ,and then one by one the entourage of Ouroboros member enter the Dragon palace's front garden . many of the guards can only witness in awe when dozen of luxurious chariot are lining up in the palace's garden,it's been a while since they received so many guest in their lord's castle.the buttlers and the guards start welcoming each of the guest and escorting them to the main hall of the palace .

Inside the hall is what one can be considered as a normal style befits with Magellan title as one of many nobles and the grandmaster of special council .The hall itself is oval shaped filled with arranged table in the middle of the room with rose in on top the table and a food stalls lining up in the side of the room , the candle is being lit and be placed in the pillar adding more beauty to the room ,the floor itself is colored red and having a dragon painting biting its own tail symbolizing infinite cycle of life and death just like the meaning of ouroboros .

The yellowish light emitted by the lantern and candle filling up the room with warm atsmosphere and making anyone who enters it feeling calm .

When all of the Ouroboros members already enters the hall ,they quickly greet and chat with each other .However the chatting and greeting can't hide the uneasiness inside their heart ,it's been awhile since Magellan summoned all of them so early in the morning .What makes their worries only escalated is the presence of unknown man among them,the man does not wear something suspicious ,he only wears a formal suit and face mask like anybody else inside the room ,however that doesn't change the fact that he is a stranger to them .the reason why their attention switch from each other to that particular man is simple ,each of ouroboros member already knew each other so well even they know the ancestor's name of each member and their biggest secret .Their curiosity however could lead that particular man' demise if he didn't act fast,the man already feel the tension inside the room and the fact that almost every person who stands next to him already unseathed their sword silently while looking at him.

"Splendid.... Trully Splendid ! Hahahahah" That Laughter alone breaks the already escalated tension inside the room ,that laughter is so strange yet so familiar to whoever hears it .that laughter is belong only to one person in the whole kingdom ,and that laughter just come out from an unknown man himself ,which shocks everyone .One by one the member of Ouroboros seathes their sword and putting down any weapon they held before . The man smiles widely and take off his mask revealing a pair blue of eyes, and rounded face with big scar under one of his eyes .he walk to the center of the room and pretends like nothing has happened and keep smiling widely looking at everyone inside the room .

"I only heard that you guys are very cautious ,but you're on another level "

The man keep giggling ,he is a very carefree person after all ,that what come in mind of the Ouroboros but noone dare to say it out loud .

"Well ,Ladies and Gentlemen Please follow me ,we have some urgent matters that need to be discussed "

He leads the Ouroboros members to walk towards the hallway with such serious face you almost forgot his cherful personality he showed during the feast .they walked pass the hallway without uttering a single word,each one of them already knew that something serious must have happened causing the meeting of all Ouroboros member early in the morning .

They stopped at the front of large room guarded by two guards wearing dark colored heavy armor and holding great axes standing in front of giant red doors with golden dragon holding orbs inscribed on it .

The scar faced man approached the guards and asked the permission to enter the room ,which they respond by opening the door ,and by that instance what's inside the room is visible to them . The room is quite large with many big statues stands in each corner of the room ,but what captivated them the most is the round table placed in the center of the room ,it was just a normal wooden table with chairs surrounding it .

They enter the room and quickly sitting down without uttering a word and keep looking around the room for the present of certain man ,the grand master himself which nowhere to be seen .The absence of grand master is quite strange for them , how could the lord of the house himself is nowhere to be seen ? it is unusual even for such eccentric man like lord Magellan himself .

When they already prepared to leave the room and search for Magellan ,He enters the room while bringing many documents and putting it on the round table .

"Alright shall we start ? " He asks politely

All the attendant nod in agreement .

"Gentlemen ,as you may have noticed our kingdom will face an unknown threat if we didn't act fast "

One of the member rising his hand and cut Magellan's speech

"You say that we should act fast,but what should we do ? we don't even know who is the culprit behind the recents incidents which occured in different places "

Magellan caress his beard and smile

"That's what i am about to explain ,tho i believe you all already guess who is the real culprit but to afraid acknowledge its existence publicly "

They sigh briefly after hearing the explanation from Magellan himself

"So are you saying,that we will face them ? 'The black sun '? That's impossible right ? they've been annihilated by our king many years ago !"

Magellan only responds it by smiling

When all the member stares at disbelief about what they hear ,the scar faced man stands up and start talking

"Sure,our king annihilated and massacre all of them ,however back then their ideology already influence many of our civilian ,so despite their old member is no longer existed i believe some of civilian will inherited their motivation and began avenge their fallen predecessor ,after all it's impossible to destroy an idea which was created many years ago "

"Correct ,an idea can't be destroyed completely therefore i must once and for all force you acknowledge it ,that we faced against 'the black sun' even though they're maybe not the original member " Said Magellan gently

Magellan then picks one of the document which he carry and opened it up in front of everyone inside the room ,

"Yesterday i just received a letter from my intel,he reported that 'they' already on the move in The Empire of Balmulk ,and i predicts 'they' will begin their full assault to our kingdom and many our neighboring country next month "

Magellan then showed another document to them containing the report of many incidents in their neighboring kingdom which the culprit was never found .some of the incidents even took place in of the king's domain of one neighboring kingdom causing the king almost losing his life .

"I still don't understand what they're trying to accomplish?" One of the member spokes up after reading the documents and hearing the explanation from Magellan ,he was middle age man with his hair tied up to his back .

"I agree with you ,their assault is like some kids pulling out a prank ,it's so random and doesn't leave a big impact to the targetted kingdom " said another member

" I mean it will make more sense if they only focusing on killing most important person in the kingdom ,rather than doing such a random acts like these " He added

The scar faced man just keep reading the report in silent and doesn't say anything for awhile when the others already discussing the reason behind recent incidents .

Magellan is seemingly waiting for scar faced man's respond ,to his surprise the scar faced man only looks at him and shrugs his shoulder indicating that even him is still confused by their action .Each of one of them are drowned inside their own thought and keep looking for answer .Magellan could only sigh ,he is not surprised by their response after all they're dealing with old enemy which is more well organized and very careful executing their plan ,it's not an easy task .

Suddenly when Magellan almost fell asleep because of fatigue he gains after lacking sleep for about a week ,one of Ouroboros member hit the table so hard it surprised almost everyone inside the room .

" I know it ! I know the reason why they're doing some random act like these !"

Everyone looks at the member who hit the table and yell suddenly ,it was a man with big monocle and thick mustache .

"They want to test whether the government will notice their action or not ,this all was a big bluff forcing us to think it was done to achieve something far more greater when in reality they only want to proof their existence " Said the man with much entusiasm

Magellan laugh at that man statement,not because it was ridicoulous but because that statement come into his mind but he doesn't dare say it frankly.

"With much respect ,Lord Bellamy i would appreciate if you don't hit the table like that ever again "

The man who is called Bellamy is sitting down ,feeling embarassed

"Althought i must admit what you're saying is correct , i believe we should more focussing on how to prevent their next assault "

"So that's why you're inviting us ,sir Magellan ?"

"Well , i do believe that some precaution is needed ,after all we're facing an unknown threat coming from old enemy " Magellan replied calmly "That's why i want you guys starts guarding your own domain and magical research facility"

The scar faced man stares at Magellan face with serious looks ,as if asking him if that really all they should do .Magellan of course realizing this and only smiles in responds to that look

"But Lord Magellan ,I do believe The Monarch and the court need to know this " Bellamy argues "After all it's quite useless if only us who take a precaution act"

All of inside the room with Bellamy recent statement and that is understandable,After all it will be useless effort if the stakeholders themself aren't aware with the current situation .

"I do agree with Lord Bellamy, we should warn the monarch first before taking any action " Said The Scar faced man

"Thank you for your opinion Lord Bellamy and Lord Magnus , i really appreciate it " Magellan replies elegantly "For that purpose i will request an audience with the king himself tomorrow "

They continued the discussion untill the night comes ,and decided that this matters can't be handled by Ouroboros alone considering their enemy 'the black sun' is very well organized therefore an organized action is needed which involving all of the kingdom most influential individual and organization.

After ending the meeting each of the member decided to go back to their domain ,however what they didn't realize it there was someone else who knew about their meeting and has been spying on them since the morning while pretending to be one of the servant ,hoping to gather some information .This person quickly disappear in the night just like a ghost .
