The individualistic dog jumped instantly from his sleeping spot and ran to the entrance. He wriggled his entire body shaking off whatever dirty thing he thought that would stuck on his fur.

Man, I really need to be careful of where I sleep. Getting piss all over me is not pleasant.

But then his half open eyes turned wide-eyed after discovering something out of the ordinary. He felt a peculiar awareness to his surrounding as if he could see something from the back of his head.

Ren realized his keen sense of awareness had multiply overnight. In an instant he could see everything within a ten meter radius. The ‘see’ wasn’t actually from his sense of sight as the sensory organ that he used was not physical as the intermittent wave that emitted from his body came from the depth of his soul.

Ren moved his four limbs as he jumped away from his spot dodging an ambush. As he turned around he saw the mutt with the wagging tail. It was none other than his brother who was quite fond of him as compared to other four pups.

This mutt really like biting other people butts.

Like always the mother wolf had left the den. Ren who knew more in term of general knowledge was confused by the behavior of the mother wolf. His knowledge dictated that wolf are nocturnal creatures who hunted during the night thus too see his biological mother disappeared in the morning piqued his curiosity.

Oh well, not that it matters. I’m human, no matter what!

A few train of thoughts flashed through his mind. About how come the other pups stayed inside of the den with no intention of going out and how come he couldn’t understood a word from the mother wolf while the others seemed to respond normally. Yet he paid no heed to it, it seems redundant for him presently.

I thought of increasing my skill level before venturing further but since I got this sweet new detection ability of mine, evading threats will be a cinch. Might as well put it to use.

“Mutt, let’s go. Time for adventure!”

“Woof!” said the wolf pup dubbed as mutt.

The duo ran into the woods as their four limbs maneuvering clumsily as at times they stumbled but quickly got up and continued their tag chasing. For a few weeks old pair of wolf pups their development are quite astonishing.

Identify : 500 year old Yin Tortoshell Porcini. A thousand year old mushroom with its cap appearance similar to a tortoise shell. Vast amount of tian essence store inside the fungus. He munched down the mushroom which doesn’t really suit to his palate.

Nice! I’m quite lucky, I’ve never been lucky when I was human. Does being a dog come with great luck? So anyhow if my mathematics is correct, all I need is to do is wait for a day and my cultivation level is going to up by a level. Still I have no clue on what middle stage meridian formation mean, can’t they put it into numbers so I can easily understand. Anyway let’s run around perhaps I could find another one of these babies laying around.

Elated by the fact that he will soon rise another level by merely ingesting a mushroom, Ren took his wolf pup brother and ran around in the woods hoping for a better treasure to suddenly pop out.
