Chapter 407

Chapter 407:

“Did you notice anything in particular?” he asked, his voice probing.

Of course, Alicia had noticed quite a bit.

Caden had placed the file on the table, with his computer screen positioned right in front of him.

The reflection on the screen clearly showcased his well-defined abs.

It was painfully obvious.

The abs dominated nearly two-thirds of the photograph, making it impossible for anyone, even those with poor eyesight, to miss.

To be honest, Caden’s actions left Alicia momentarily stunned.

Alicia pursed her lips and, with a raised eyebrow, asked pointedly, “I’m more curious about why you’re shirtless in the office.

Is this some sort of perk for your female employees?”

Caden sat up straight, his demeanor composed and unyielding, with no hint of scheming.

“It became rather warm, so I decided to take it off,” he explained casually.

Alicia’s expression clearly conveyed her skepticism, as if silently asking, Do you honestly think I believe that?

Caden smoothly shifted the focus back to their conversation, leaning forward slightly.

“Do you find it appealing?”

Alicia rested her chin on her hand and replied, “In comparison to others, it’s certainly a sight for sore eyes, but since I’ve touched it enough, seeing it in a photograph feels rather underwhelming.”

Caden smiled, clearly amused by her response.

She had managed to express both positive and negative sentiments in one go.

“How many months has it been since you last touched it?” Caden leaned in slightly, his voice lowering with intrigue.

“Do you miss it?”

Faced with such a provocative question, Alicia decisively interrupted, saying, “The food’s coming, just shut up.”

Caden’s smile was knowing and self-assured.

He dedicated himself to his workouts, maintaining an impressive physique with each muscle perfectly defined—both powerful and pleasing to the touch.

Alicia often found herself overwhelmed by desire, her body pressing against him until both were consumed by the heat.

Caden had remained abstinent for months, and any mention or thought of Alicia effortlessly sparked a fire within him.

Caden didn’t just want a simple dinner with Alicia.

But after waiting this long, he wasn’t about to ruin it by rushing things.

So, he remained calm throughout the entire meal.

Alicia was a bit on edge at first, but as Caden finally grabbed his car keys, hinting that he was about to leave, she began to relax.

As they stepped out of the restaurant, Caden suddenly took her hand, rubbing her palm gently.

“It’s been a while since we last met.

Want to walk me out?” he asked softly.

Alicia tried to pull her hand back, but he held on just a little tighter.

She sighed and asked, “Do I even get a say in this?”

Caden leaned in with a grin.

“And what about a kiss? You can’t say no to that, right?”

Alicia smirked back.

“Funny, I just learned how to castrate someone.

Want to give it a try?”

He didn’t doubt her for a second.

He knew her kicks were sharp enough to knock anyone flat.

Caden held her hand firmly as they headed to the car.

When Alicia realized he was actually about to leave, she felt a wave of relief.
