The rift in the sky kept raining creatures onto the battlefield, getting stronger as time went by. Many creatures that have already been seen kept returning which eventually started to annoy people and make them tear the enemy apart out of anger. The battlefield quickly became less strategic and more savage as more players became infected by the madness of the battlefield. Players would start to wildly swing and use every skill they had to quickly dispatch any enemies in their way. At this time another large creature plummeted to earth and crashed.
Level 40 -Farmin, The Other Failed Creation-
All of the players looked at the name of the creature and thought it was a bit too lazy to just name it that. The creature looked like a blob of jelly and jiggled as it slowly moved towards the frontlines. This boss was a bit stronger than the first one but still couldn’t hold on for very long under the attack of thousands of players.
The creatures were spawning in at level 40 after four hours of fighting, if things continue on this way then The Eastern Legion should be able to hold on until the level 50 boss, which would appear after another four hours. If they are lucky then the level 50 boss won’t show itself for a while. Kira wasn’t a high level so he was in charge of going back to the guild bank and auction house to buy more supplies, then return to the battlefield and distribute them. He even started to sell some of the supplies to strangers for a profit, which allowed him to return to the auction house and buy even more supplies.
Bubbles constantly had a stream of players that came to him for repairs, he had made more repairs in this one sitting than all of the repairs he has done combined. His army continued to move as he hammered at various pieces of equipment. Other blacksmiths tried to mimic him but he was the most popular since he was the first to set up shop.
Grandpa Blossom didn’t have too much of an interest in the event and continued to fish. He only ever fought when he found a fishing spot that he wanted, which is the only reason he was at level 29. Other than those people, everyone else was fighting against the horde of enemies, only stopping to resupply.
The first real challenge finally occurred after 6 hours of fighting. Both bosses simultaneously spawned into the battlefield, both being fairly close to each other. There simply wasn’t enough firepower to take them both down quickly. Sora was about to take charge but before he could LeeLee had already started giving out commands.
“Focus the lower level boss, the quicker we kill it the better off we will be. Solid Brick, you are in charge of tanking the second boss.”
The players tried to follow orders as best they could but some of the random players simply didn’t care about orders and continued to keep their focus on the higher level boss. Their thought process told them that hitting the higher level boss will give them more contribution. The lower level boss was at 20% by the time it reached the frontlines while the higher level one was at 85%. Sora took aggro for the higher level one while the lower level was quickly focused down. Accidents were impossible to avoid and there were a few casualties on lower level players that didn’t pay enough attention. The higher level boss seemed to occasionally target random players. Sora was able to maintain the aggro but player still died around him. After the first boss died a massive amount of damage started to pour onto the higher level boss, killing him within a short amount of time.
Sora looked at the rest of the battlefield as the boss fell and realized that some of the frontlines were on the verge of being overwhelmed by the failed creations. They didn’t have a lot of power alone but made up for that with massive numbers. Flying creatures finally started to appear too, creating a headache for the ranged players that were used to constantly dealing damage without any worries. Players continued to fall at a slow but steady pace but more players would just take their place and continue the battle. At the sixth hour, another server announcement came through.
-Server Announcement-
Awwww, the Western Kingdom just couldn’t hold on when the third boss arrived. Thanks for playing! Oh, and don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten about your reward!
-Server Announcement-
The Western Kingdom has received the double revive time penalty for one week. All players who are already dead will have 24 hours added onto their timer.

So far The Eastern Legion is my favorite, let’s see how well they fare off against the boss that took out The Western Kingdom!
The rift in the sky pulsed as another creature came crashing into the earth. It was made from mostly rock but seemed to have some parts that were flesh. It towered over everything around it as it rose up and let out a creepy roar that shook everyone's mind. The roar stunned every player for two seconds, resulting in a lot of frontline members to be taken out. The roar triggered a flood of enemies that invaded the player formation.
Level 45 -Urkrastor, The Other Other Failed Creation-
Sora was tanky enough to survive the stunned state but a few people had died around him. He and Solid Brick were located at the very front of the army, trying their best to tank as much damage as they could. The healers poured on a massive amount of white light to continuously heal the damage taken. Just when the players found their footing, another roar broke the momentum of the army, once again stunning them. Another wave of enemies started to pour into the ranks of the players, finally breaking up their formation. The massive army of players was now split into three separate groups. One with Phoenix Rising, along with Drazi and random players that decided to fall under his command. One with Everlasting, along with the players that fell under their command. The last one was an area in the middle of the two groups that had turned into a war zone thanks to the breaking of the formation. Players could be found scattered within the sea of enemies, being swarmed by them and dying due to their overwhelming number.
A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation.
The boss was able to make it all the way to the frontlines with a health 65% health still remaining. The boss walked towards Everlastings side so Phoenix Rising wasn’t able to assist thank to the large amount of enemies splitting them apart.
…..
Spring commanded her army effectively, managing to lure the boss into their formation while the horde of enemies stayed on the outside. This let their elite groups focus on taking down the boss without worrying about the random creatures attacking them.
“Reform the formation and get ready for another stun attack! Use whatever you can to survive through the stun or we are finished! Healers should be ready to cast right as they come out of their stun!”
Spring was fighting while giving out orders, only ever stopping to resupply or repair equipment. Another roar resounded and stunned everyone, triggering the massacre of her group members. Her body glowed right after the stun had hit her, curing it and allowing her to continue holding aggro on the boss. The group lost a few frontliners and had enemies trickle into the formation but they were quickly dispatched and the formation reformed. The boss wasn’t able to let out another roar before it fell.
“We need to reconnect with Phoenix Rising while we have time! Form a path!”
…..
“We need to reconnect with Everlasting while we have time! Breakthrough the enemies!”
The orders from both sides happened at the same time. Phoenix Rising and Everlasting seemed to cut through the enemies, eventually meeting in the middle of the chaotic battlefield. A formation was quickly formed between the two as the random players helped finish off the creatures between the two groups.
The players didn’t have anytime to enjoy the peace and quiet as the second boss once again appeared on the battlefield. A lot of players could be heard sighing as they readied themselves for battle once again. After another half hour another announcement appeared.
-Server Announcement-
The third boss is on a roll! It may have lost to The Eastern Legion but The Southern Flames were cleanly wiped out. I expected nothing less from one of my creations, hehehe. As for the reward… I won’t be too harsh since you didn't get last place… NOT, hahahaha!
-Server Announcement-
All players in The Southern Flames have had their EXP progress reduced to 0%.

Ah, The Eastern Legion should be careful. The boss seemed really upset about his loss to you guys last time. Prepare for round two! Ding ding ding!
The third boss once again crashed into the earth and let out a massive roar. The players were more prepared this time and didn’t get split apart but they still had many casualties. The boss made it about halfway to the players when another large creature appeared and crashed into the earth. The first boss started wobbling behind the third, putting even more pressure on the players. The third boss would stun players while the first one deals high damage, unable to get healing thanks to the stunned state that the healers were in. Spring sent a message over to Phoenix Rising, there was no way they could get through this if they didn’t work together.
“Everlasting will take the aggro of the first boss, you guys take the third boss.”
Sora didn’t have any complaints and quickly pulled the third boss into his formation. Spring did the same with the first boss, relieving a little bit of pressure on the battlefield. The random players were mainly tasked with controlling the smaller enemies while the guild took on the bosses. It took many sacrifices but Everlasting was able to quickly kill of their boss, only falling victim to casualties when they were stunned. Phoenix Rising was having a bit more trouble with their boss since it was a lot stronger, they weren’t able to kill it until another roar stunned them all once more. The second boss appeared once again right as the first one was killed by Everlasting but it moved too slow to create a big problem. The guild took control of it right as the third boss fell to Phoenix Rising.
Since there was only two factions left, the amount of enemies on each battlefield was incredibly large. The flying creatures took out many archers and mages which slowed down their damage output, eventually leading to more enemies coming in than going out. The battlefield was covered in the strange creatures, with only a thin line of players left to defend against the waves of enemies. The eighth hour hit and the rift once again pulsed, this time much more violently.
-Server Announcement-
Ahhh, can’t you all just die already? Naming all these things is hard and even when I do name them you still complain. Fine! I don’t care anymore!
A creature crashed into the battlefield, creating a pillar of fire as it connected with the ground. A giant magma looking monster rose up from the ground, sometimes shooting out boulders randomly. It was eerily quiet as it began to make its way to the frontlines.
Level 50 -Blah Blah Blah, Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah-
The creature was much faster than the last bosses that came through. It swiftly made its way to the frontlines but surprisingly didn’t attack anyone. It kept moving through the army until it was in the very middle. Its body started to swell as it launched boulders rapidly in many different directions at once. The boulders instantly killed the players it hit which completely annihilated the formation that was in place. After a moment the swelling stopped before the creature exploded into a rain of magma and boulders that started to kill off every player left. Athenes used [Greater Healing] on herself and Sora, not able to spare the time for a single spell on anyone else. The magma ticked away at both of them but they were somehow able to survive with barely any health and mana left. The only other people left alive were a couple healers in Phoenix Rising that healed each other constantly and two people in Everlasting that used the same tactic as Sora and Athenes.
The exploding creature may have wiped out nearly every single player in the battlefield but it also wiped out every surrounding creature too, giving Sora and Spring enough room to convene together. They didn’t say much and only focused on the creatures that appeared in front of them. They watched as two of the bosses once again reappeared to fight. They were lucky that it was the first and second boss and only needed to hold on until they were the last faction standing. The magma boss should go to The Northern Summit, who was currently already dealing with the third boss, and hopefully be able to wipe them out before Sora and Spring fell.
A few random players that also somehow managed to survive convened around the two guild leaders, readying themselves for the tsunami of enemies that were charging towards them. The fight started and almost instantly killed off a few random players. Sora and Spring did their best to cover their healers but were quickly surrounded and cut off from them, resulting in their death. Athenes was only able to get off one more [Greater Healing] on Sora before falling. Sora used a health potion to hopefully buy some more time along with using [Concuss] on the strongest creature attacking him. His parrying dagger blurred all around him as he did his best to parry. His health fell to critical right as a sound that sounded like heavenly bells resounded. He fell right after the notification was sent.
-Server Announcement-
The Northern Summit fell! Ah, it was a really close game, just a couple more seconds and they would have won. Oh well, there can only be one winner. Congratulations to The Eastern Legion for pulling through, as for The Northern Summit, if you aren’t a winner then you are a loser!
-Server Announcement-
Players of The Northern Summit will have all equipment durability reduced to 1. Players of The Northern Summit will have repair costs doubled for one week.

Hmm… what do I give the winners. Hehehe, technically I am the real winner here so I will grant myself a full set of Divine Equipment. As for The Eastern Legion, better luck next time, as for your punishment- Ahhh! What are you doing here! Ow-Ow-Stop I’m sorry! I’m so-
