HEY! You, yes you! the previous chapter was broken, so make sure to read that one! It has new content, (Not just grammar fixes 'n stuff). Royal Road screwed up my pre-post thingy, (or it may have been me) but that chapter was a future chapter that wasn't supposed to be leaked. Anyways, looking for an editor, and enjoy the story.
------------------------------------------------------
Elithian had to get out of there, and fast. He swerved around Liyah, and exited the cafeteria. He knew his decision was a bad one, but he’d rather not deal with the aftermath with his bully, Henry.
He couldn’t have done that if she had her ‘girlfriends’ there. Though they were girls, they both had B+ rank abilities. And Liyah had an A- ability.
He didn’t know why she didn’t use it, though, as her ability was perfect for stopping those who ran from her.
‘Mabey she wasn’t thinking straight?’ He thought, increasing his speed.
‘What's up with my luck today?’ Elithian thought, running towards the exit of the school.
He was running away from one danger, just to stumble into another.
“Come back here!!” He heard, running away from the annoying loli. The screeching finally stopped when he had gotten far enough from her, though her scream still resonated in his ears.
Everyone in the cafeteria knew what would happen to Elithian when Liyah caught him, and they prayed for his mercy. Even if he was a disgusting neat pervert, no one deserved what Liyah did to her victims.
The aftermath of what Liyah did to her victims was horrifying, and even some of those with abilities C+ had gotten stuck in her trap of spreading indecent photos.
Her family was a rich one but it seemed to stay in the Victorian era where there were princess and princesses.
Her family was considered odd. And there was a rumor that they tortured people within their basement at night, though, that was only a rumor.
He finally exited the school, and he was huffing like a grandmother who had smoked her entire life. He looked at his watch, and he'd had only a minute or so to get there, or suffer the consequences of ditching his ‘friends’.
He walked over to the trash area located directly behind his school, and there they were. Henry, and his lackey, Harold.
‘The two H’s’ he thought. Their names were so unoriginal.
“Alright, time for your beating. I gotta let off some steam because a beauty refused to go to my room. Man, I spent so much money on that sl#t. I’m broke now, and since you gained a defect I don’t have to hold back.” Henry said, exhaling in anger.
A case of theft: this story is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.
“Wait, I can give you mo--” Elithian was cut off.
A sharp fist collided with his massive forehead, sending him back into the wall which was made up of bricks.
His head ached, but before he could get time to recover himself, Henry sent out a barrage of punches to his stomach, chest, and lower jaw.
It felt as though he would puke, die of exhaustion, and pass out at the same time. Though due to his defect, The chances of passing out to escape the pain was low.
The tattoo on his wrist began to glow red. It was different from before in his bedroom, where the light was white like a pure angel. Now, it glowed with anger. The tatoo began to form patterns of sharp lines on his wrist. It spread further and further up his arm, like poison.
At this point, his entire right arm looked like a convicted prisoner's arm, if they decided to get 50% more tattoos.
‘I’m gonna die… I’m gonna die a v#rgin, I’m gonna die without ever having a girlfriend or receiving a kiss… Or ever getting another friend besides Henry, who was now like an Ex.’ He doubted his existence, and waited for his death so he didn’t have to suffer this excruciating pain.
Henry was once a loyal, understanding friend, but the incident tarnished him beyond belief. If one could’ve seen Henry 5-6 years ago, and the one before Elithian now, they’d immediately notice the stark contrast.
“Die” Henry said.
He generated flames behind his hand, and a smaller flame on his knuckles that didn’t have enough force to mess up the flame on the back of his hand’s trajectory. The smaller flame in his knuckles was most likely only there for the afterburn, as it didn’t have enough force to propel the fist backwards, meaning it would only cause Elithian to suffer burn damage.
He winded his fist up, and threw it towards Elithian.
A million thoughts raced across Elithians mind. About the incident, the things he could never do, and his parents that he’d never see again.
‘No’ A demonic voice in the back of Elithian’s head thought.
‘I will never die in a place like this’ It continued.
This wasn’t Elithian. He never had that amount of backbone.
He wondered who that was to have such confidence… and to sound more fearful than the devil himself.
Henry’s fiery fist was know mere centimeters away from his eyes.
Elithian’s head turned into black smoke, and Henry’s fist phased through the smoke hitting the brick wall behind it.
‘What!?’ He thought, confused.
He looked down to see Henry’s head was gone. It was just his body.
‘What the h#ll!’ He thought.
“Your ability is still useless! Being able to turn your head to smoke! Whatever, lame” Henry said out loud, reassuring himself that Elithian was a weakling.
He couldn’t be more wrong.
He punched his stomach, but yet again, his stomach turned into smoke and his hand punched the wall. Elithian’s head returned as though it never was gone.
Elithians eyes were black, and the pupils were red.
This instilled fear into Henry, who always thought of Elithian as a weakling.
‘I’ve got to finish this fight before I embarrass myself’ Henry thought, preparing a barrage.
He punched with amazing speed, to the point where waves of wind were generating in front of his fists.
Yet, he never made contact. Everytime he would punch, the area he was punching would turn into smoke, then return to normal when the first was retracted. Elithian didn’t even move. He stood there, and acted as though the punches were useless.
‘His ability is overpowered! I can’t even hit him!’ He thought, totally forgetting he was just saying how weak he was.
His energy was running low, and the barrage would have to stop soon.
He looked back at Harold, who was in a fighting stance.
He too had recognised Elithians new found power.
Henry punched once more, and then dashed backwards, to where his friend was.
Elithian smiled, demonically. His teeth looked like a savage wolf's teeth. Sharp, unbiased, and without mercy.
“My turn” Elithian said, a demonic grin on his face.
This wasn’t Elithian. It was someone much, much worse.
It was the Devil himself.
