Nicholas glanced at the stream of text along his vision, skimming through the list of classes. There were numerous amounts of text, at least 50 to choose from! It was quite diverse and required him to be more decisive as this would perhaps affect him as a whole. Either for good or worse.
He began to take notes of which classes seemed interesting and impressive before being left with at least one fifth of what he had begun with.

These were the particular classes he felt were to be unique and held great strength in the depths of their being. Something he wished to seize to further improve the rate at which he gained the power to survive and thrive in this new dog eat dog world. Not as if the last were not the same, but this world held, different qualities, that the last one didn’t have.
The Spartan class was something he was familiar with and held great power in contrast to the people on his world. But in this world of swords and magic, would it not be a waste to go for something perhaps more diverse? Something that utilizes both the speed of his body and the magic that Shadow Manipulation never ceases to display. Although Nicholas just slightly, just slightly, wished for something more, he knew he wouldn’t get anything better than what he was given.

After greatly considering the power and styles of combat that each class described. He decided that he would undeniably choose the class ‘Fallen Reaper’. It intrigued him to say the least. He just had this feeling that guided him towards it, it was mostly instinctual, but he still felt it was the right thing to do. Nicholas, before he knew it, had appointed Fallen Reaper as his chosen class.
A strong deathly glow enshrouded him as he closed his eyes. Feeling the mana sink into him, encapsulating him, guiding him. After around 3 minutes of the spectacle taking place, he came back to his senses. His mind feeling much more clearer, much more calm. His body strengthened by the abnormality that proceeded to envelop him.
He was death, or at least it felt like it.
He could control the life force escaping from the bodies wisps of red and blue drifting into the atmosphere from the bodies ravaged from the battle.

They were all unique in their own ways but one stood out to him, summon familiar. For someone like him who had lived his last life in isolation, practically companionless, and forsaken. This skill seemed like a way for change. An opening for a better future for the poor soul which was Nicholas.
He selected it, the feeling of knowledge pouring past the outskirts of his brain into his very mind, once again catching him off guard. Although this time he was more prepared and experienced with the feeling in terms of before. As he was gently soaked in the replenishing and rejuvenating feeling, he brought up his status.

Nicholas adjusted his stat points by appointing the unassigned points. 10 into intelligence, 5 for agility, 5 for dexterity, and lastly, the last 10 points were shared between strength and wisdom.
After having assigned his points, he looked into the new skills acquired from his class and battle. Fear aura, a skill that enveloped the enemies in a 5 metre radius or at a singular chosen target that doubles the distance in return for the reduction of the AoE (Area of effect), under the status effect ‘fear’. The ability that caused part of the instinctual fear the orcs had been subjected to.
The last unrecognized ability he saw was ‘Lifesteal’. He investigated into it, receiving information relating it to his class. A skill that provided him with health upon damage given in a percentage of 1% as of level one, but gaining increases every 2 levels. Presuming that the level cap was 100, it left him with a lifesteal percentage of 50% upon level 100. A skill of great potential.
After taking in the sight of his status and noting the new affinity acquired from his class, Death. Nicholas settled with waiting 4 minutes to replenish his mana in order to barely get 140 mana, double the amount necessary to summon a familiar. As he awaited for the fateful number to appear, he decided he would make the best use of his time clearing out the rest of the orcs down the corridor, if there were any that was.
He walked on to only see a large pair of doors towering over him, each individual door being at least 2 doors wide and long. It was quite the unnatural sight for Nicholas before he transferred from his world to the one as of the present. But it slowly came to him as but a common occurance to see things of such grandeur and mystery during the 2 weeks he had lived here.
As he looked over the cold dirty steel, he resolved himself to wait outside and contract his familiar, afterwards regenerating his mana and health to their prime before venturing onwards. He lingered there, back hunched up against the cold steel as he waited. After the few silent minutes had passed, his mana had gradually reached 140, he activated the spell, the words flowing into his mind as they were reciprocated from his mouth in turn.
Before him, a notification appeared, his attention fully placed on the words it relayed to him.
