[[ Chapter 6 - Goblin Village - Part 3 [Zxel] ]]
Notification! You have unlocked the Subjects Menu! With this menu you can look through all of your subjects or how some people like to call ‘Minions’ or perhaps ‘Peons’ whatever floats your boat. They will never betray you on their own free will, they can however have rebellious thoughts perhaps but will not follow them unless some external means [usually magical in nature] forces it. You can also give your subjects Titles that people will see such as ‘Royal Archiver’ some titles like that can also be a Promotion such as giving a guard ‘Royal Guard’ title. Giving titles and promotions will give benefits to the person who inherits it however it will have a cap depending on how many subjects you have and if only a certain amount can have it like having only one ‘Captain of the Royal Guard’
I just stare blankly at the notification. It seems like the Neko at character creations was right about me being able to have creatures working for me.. I wonder how she is doing, and also what was that foreboding message she gave me before blacking out.
Whatever it was, probably nothing, I’m too paranoid with crap like that just better to ignore it like it never happened or else I will be worrying about it for no reason.. And it will consume me over time until It slowly drags you down to drown in the darkness and insanity..
I think I may know why I have the Nightmare Affinity now.
I swipe away the notification and another one appears! I should be happy I’m getting notifications because they give you something but too much reading! Just let me play this damn game! If I wanted to read I would be reading a Damn book!
Congratulations! You now have ownership of “Gobopolis” the Goblin Village of “Twilight Forest [Inner Core]”. You now have access to the Population menu, Build menu, Treasury menu Expense menu, Trade menu, Research menu, Production menu, and Jail menu.
Uhm.. I think I will retract that statement, time to read all of this! For those who don’t know I really enjoy games with building, resource management and upgrade games, and like every normal person would be okay with reading or learning about something they enjoy!
However I will read that later, I need to talk to Nibbit about this and will probably want to know about the notifications as well.
Also it seems to be that the forest we are in is the Twilight Forest and the inner core? Like the deepest part of it? Also is this the forest I entered earlier or was I knocked out and brought to a different one? I think it was the earlier one..
I swipe the notification away and look at the twinkling eyed Nibbit and snap my fingers to get his attention.
“Oi, Nibbit you there? Or do I need to whack you on the head for pay back earlier.” I smirk saying the last part which Nibbit shakes his head to get out of his daze. He than puts his arm over his chest and bows like a butler or servant.
“I am Sire! I’m sorry for not being attentive, won’t happen again!” He has a big crooked smile when he stands up again. “Is there anything you wish of me Sire?” He asks.
I nod my head and cross my arms. “I just got a notification about having control of the village and a bunch a menu’s about it. I also got a notification about when I.. ‘Claimed’ or.. ‘Branded’..? You guys, should I read them out to you and have your input?”
He looks shocked and stammering. “I-I w-would be h-honoured Sire!”
Seems like making him a Subject boosted his loyalty, or was that due to his proclamation of serving me?
Hm, whatever. We better start talking about it now.
----------------------------------------
With the chat with Nibbit about the menus done I can start actually levelling and powering up! Or should I actually strengthen the village.. I wish I had a sombrero and could do the “Why not both” meme but I guess I just train or something.
Also If you want to know, I promoted Nibbit to my Right Hand man, which gave him the title Right hand Man of the Demon lord and gave him boosts in all his stats by 25% and made another symbol appear next to the old one. This time it was a small handprint with a ‘R’ in the palm, which I’m assuming stands for Right because what else would It mean?
I also promoted Nibbit's Brother.. Sigh.. He is now my Left hand man due to Nibbit suggesting that he could be a good Steward while he can be the Court Magician and Advisor. I would’ve given them the other titles. However, it has a cool down per person depending on the title, and it also costs points I get for ruling!
I sadly already used them all by promoting those two…
However the benefits from promoting Nibbit's brother Mibit [How.. I don’t know] to my Left Hand Man is that he at least knows average Angelicus[?] now, no more broken sentences for him now.
Also should I actually just call them my right and left hand Goblins instead of Man? Or is that just being to correct and worrying to much? I’m wasting time aren’t I with this pointless crap right? Boring you to death, maybe I should get a spell that actually does bore people to death..
“Nibbit, I plan on testing out my spells and possibly skills, have anything I can try them on. Hopefully something I can kill and level up?” I smile looking at him and he shivers a little.
“We do have some straw dummies in the barracks, however I think you will decimate them Sire.. Maybe you should try to attack some of the trees? Unless you plan on using Fire magic Sire! Please don’t burn down our homes!” He starts freaking out at the last part.
I put my hands up in surrender pose and try to calm him down. “Relax! I promise I won’t use fire magic and burn down the forest, rest assured on my honour!” I put my hand over my heart.
The looks relieved now less panicky and more collected. He nods and asks me. “Is there anything I can do for you Sire?” He looks at me expectantly
Hmm.. What should I task him to do.. What would any Hero do with his side kick.. I would say Demon Lord but do I really want to act like one when I mainly wanted to come on to be a hero?
I’ll tell him to hunt and scavenge for some supplies, hopefully he may even level up! Maybe under me the will be able to evolve soon! Oh yes! Fond memories of Creaturemon and grinding to make them max level and evolve! Soon Nibbit, you will be the strongest! I will see to it, my first Creaturemon will always be the highest level and we shall eliminate all who OPPOSE US!
MAHAHHAAHAHAAHA
…
That didn’t seem very hero like.. That game always did make me a little violent. Beating others creatures with your own and taking the owner's money after they lost. Reminds me of dog fights or rooster fights.
I cough to clear my throat and give Nibbit the most fatherly gaze I could give him ready to tell him the most important mission I have for him.
“Nibbit, I need you to grind. Grind a lot and scavenge all the materials you can find. I don’t care if it’s a bunny I want it dead, strip it’s body of Exp and materials come back when you think I will be satisfied with your accomplishments. Do I make myself clear?” With my fatherly gaze and strict instructions his eyes hold resolve and the bows and says with conviction!
“I shall not disappoint you Sire! By your will it shall be done! May I bring along some troops as well or must it be I who take this task alone?” He asks which I stroke my chin.
“Hm.. I Shall allow it, pick a few and I mean FEW troops. Whoever you think is worthy. Now go!” I point towards the… All around me is forest! Uhm.. I point towards a random direction. It could be north or for all I know south.
He bows and quickly leaves to grab some troops for the mission. Hopefully by the end, we get animal pelts, money if like any normal game they drop money and most of all. He evolves to a new form!
Ahh.. They grow up so fast.. I wipe my eye from the non existent tear that was forming and start walking towards the Barracks. Which is.. Fack! I don’t know which is North or South! How can I tell which direction it is!?
When I get back I’m going to ask him to put up a Compass thing in the middle of the Village Square to make this easier.
I walk over to Mibit which he bows, when he notices me. “How may I serve the Exalted one?” He sounds a bit sarcastic and arrogant with his tone. Seems the boost in intelligence hasn’t notified him that he’s in a lower position than me yet even though he calls me Exalted.. Sigh.
“Can you show me where the Barracks is, I forgot which direction it is.” I grumble frowning a bit which he smirks..
“Why of course, I would love to help the Exalted one. Please follow me.” He waves his hand, walking away and I follow.
We weave through the crowd of Goblins, walking beneath the flickering flames of the torches with the soft melody of insects and nocturnal animals in the forest.
Soon enough we reach the barracks, looks like a little wooden fortress. Lots of spears in the buildings structure and on the outside.
Mibit leads me to the training yard inside of the barracks, which is right next to the sleeping quarters and armory. Due to there only being one room in the building.
There's what looks like Animal pelts around the door that are used for beds, the middle part of the room just has a pile of random weapons, mostly wooden spears or horns it looks. Finally at the other end of the room is the area where several straw dummies lay. They look mostly like a sack of potatoes but filled with straw.
“If that is everything, I'll leave you to your barbaric actions, Exalted one” Mibit snorts and leaves with his suffocating toxic presence..
I really dislike him.. Why did I even listen to Nibbit and promote that Grunget.. Right, because it’s a heavy work task of basically being my man servant.. Yet he’s acting like this.. Snooty bastard.
Okay time to test out my spells! Now how do I see them or activate them.. If only I used the tutorial, or asked what's his name again, or Nibbit..
Spells!
…
Nothing, uhm.. Magical Incantations!
… Gah.. Affinities? Affinity Menu?
Oh now it works!
Affinities and Spells
Hellfire [Mage Level] “It’s black flames show the abyss to which the unlucky will soon join.” - Ackgarth the Incinerator Spells/Passives:
Hellfire Conditioning: [Passive] Immune to all fire spells and heat. Able to swim in lava if you wanted to. Hellfire Ball: [Active] What it sounds like. A Fireball that's made out of hellfire. It explodes in a meter diameter when it hits an object such as a wall, the ground or a person. [20 Mana] Hellfire Bolt: [Active] A large arrow made out of hellfire. Faster than Hellfire Ball, better piercing but doesn't explode. [10 Mana] Hellfire Wall: [Active] Makes a large wall of Hellfire in front of the user. [50 Mana]
Ooo! Those look good! However Nibbit made me promise not to use fire spells.. But wait! They aren’t fire, but Hellfire! Still could burn down the forest so let's not..
I swipe the hellfire notification and see Entomancy. Oh dear Entomancy and it’s creepy crawly-ness.
Entomancy [Mage Level] “I am one with the bug. The bug is one with me. Us apart are separate minds. Us together are a hive mind. All fear the Collection” - The Collection Spells/Passives:
Bug Aura: [Passive] All insects and arachnids will be neutral if not friendly with you as long as they aren’t a part of a hive mind. Ento Conscription: [Active] Conscript bugs/arachnids into your hive mind as long as they are normal or if they are a monster, a lower level than you and not in a hive mind already. [Mana Depending on level of the bug] Forward my swarm!: [Active] Command your minions to do something such as attack, watch, follow or assassinate someone for example. [Mana depending on complexity of the action and how many bugs sent]
Okay.. So that's just an affinity used to take over the world.. Pretty useless for me right now to train in.. Next! I swipe the notification away and now at Necromancy.
Necromancy [Mage Level] “Ahh the undead.. The best friends, soldiers, cooks, butlers and other things anyone can ask for. Who cares for living creatures anyways! They moan and grumble about the most petty of living conditions and rights. Not the undead. No sir.” - Xane Pector One with the dead: [Passive] All undead will consider you one of their own. They will not be hostile unless those undead like killing other undead, while the rest will either be friendly or neutral. Also able to talk with the dead if they are intelligent enough. Soul Harvest: [Passive] Able to take the souls of the recently departed if you are nearby. You are able to eat them to replenish your Mana pool and boost of Evolution points or to store them to give to a body to raise a stronger undead. Raise Lesser Undead: [Active] Able to raise the dead if a suitable body is nearby. So far you can only raise Lesser Zombies or Lesser Skeletons. [10 Mana per undead raised]
Still something I can’t use right now.. And what's with these quotes with the affinities! Jeez.. So far, we have two affinities who want me to raise armies to conquer the world and one that I can’t use at the moment.. Next.. I swipe away again now we have.. Ooo.. Nightmare!
Nightmare [Mage Level] “Why I ever took this bloody job is beyond me.. To be tormented by these demons endlessly! I can’t sleep without them coming to mutilate me while I'm sleeping! Who cares if I gain their powers, I will never be the same again..” - Xane Pector Nightmare Eyes: [Passive] Able to see perfectly in the dark, through illusions and into the Nightmare realm if you so wish.. Nightmare Spear: [Active] able to make a spear made out of black goo that hardens on impact which can easily pierce mithril at early levels. If the spear kills the target, if the user wishes, a Nightmare Demon will possess the body. [200 Mana] Nightmare Cloak: [Active] Able to make an aura that will project your definition of Horror over your body as armour and weapons depending on what it is. It will be stronger if the user is insane, the more creative the user is and the amount of people the user killed. [100 Mana per minute]
Nope. Cool but nope. I will just stay away from this affinity.. Next one please! Which is, Bloodmancy. Probably another useless one for training dummies..
Bloodmancy [Mage Level] “The power is running through my veins!” - Blood Cultist Blood Mana Circulation: [Passive] With your blood being circulated by your Mana, you heal three times as fast and your heart is not needed to survive due to your Mana pumping your blood through your veins. Blood Whip: [Active] Able to use your own blood as 2 meter whips if there is cuts on your body. [Each whip costs 10 Mana, only allowed one whip per cut] Blood Leech: [Semi-Passive] When touching someone, you are able to drain them of their blood and Mana. [1 liter of per minute, 5% of their Mana per minute]
Well that seems like a.. Bloody good class! Ba dum tsst! I’ll be here all night! Besides that horrible joke that you have just witnessed. The only thing I could use right now would be the whip, and i don’t feel like cutting myself to use it.. Onto the next one it seems.
And the final one is.. Biomancy.. Hm.. Let's see what this can do.
Biomancy [Mage Level] “Biomancy, my favorite affinity to use. It’s an absolute need for any biologist, torturer, necromancer and mad scientist out there! So fun to turn people into abominations. Seeing their bones snap and reposition, their flesh shrink or stretch.. Their blood curdling screams.. Music to my ears.” - Xane Pector Flesh Sculpt: [Active] Able to sculpt or modify the flesh of the person you are touching. At later levels you will have a greater range and the greater freedom to mold your victims patients. [1000 Mana per minute]
If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the violation.
Why is it the same guy who is being quoted with the creepy shit! And Biomancy has no practical use right now.. Like seriously, you see that fricken Mana cost! What's the point!
So I basically came here for no reason besides checking my spells.. No no.. I will practice here even if my attacks aren’t spells! I walk over to the heap of weapons and pick out one of the wooden spears.
I walk 10 meters in front of one of the dummies and aim. This little dummy will rue the day I wasn’t able to use my spells!
I throw the spear and holy shit it went faster than I thought! It obliterated the dummy then ripped a hole on the other side of the barracks!
Well.. I better be going now.. I don’t want to be blamed for this.. Even though it’s my fault.. I will just push it onto someone else.. Yeah some unfortunate Goblin who is nearby it’s all his/her fault.. I quickly escape!
----------------------------------------
[Nibbit's POV]
I was so delighted to hear that Sire had a task for me, finally I could do something with a greater purpose than just helping these idiots… See! Right now one is picking his nose and eating the boogers!
Or he is hungry. . Nah just being an idiot.
I have brought with me 2 goblin hunters who are both using animal pelts for armour and using sharp wooden spears. I also brought the Head hunter of the village who is using a rusty short sword. His name is Stronk, the main differences from him and the other goblins is that the is 5ft tall, a blind eye and lots of scars over his body from previous hunts.
“Since everyone is here now, we shall start hunting. Any objections?” I look to the three, who don’t seem to be paying attention until I hit one on the head. As soon as I do that he covers his head and has big watery puppy dog eyes at me which I ignore.
“We’re going now, let's march!” I Point towards the forest and the three follow me. Stronk starts whistling a tune and the two hunters start farting and burping with the melody.
This is will be a long day…
----------------------------------------
We have been marching for hours now and I swear I almost lost my shit more times than I can count with their idiocy. They have tried to eat mossy rocks, almost jumping into a pool of acid thinking it was a pool full of healing potion, and freaking out whenever they hear the bushes rustle or a twig snaps.
I’m very surprised that these three have survived this far hunting. Stronk isn’t even calm considering how much experience he had hunting in these forests, you would think he would having been known to hunt Night Wolves here.
We have finally reached the outer section of the forest not even having caught anything yet due to the noises the three make, warning anything in a 100 meters of our presence
I can already see it now that we return with nothing and get punished! Who am I kidding, we aren’t allowed back until we brought something worthy of our time away from Sire! We need to get something very valuable to show our appreciation and devotion!
But how will we get such things… My ears twitch from something.. I used the spell clairvoyance to see what it was. Oh how I am delighted to find what it is… Even the thought of what it will bring makes me rub my hands together evilly with a grin.
This will definitely be something worthy for Sire.. Now to make sure the three imbeciles don’t screw this up for Sire…
So what I found was an armed merchant carriage, it has professional [Novice] guards with some steel armour but I think it will be worth the risk!
The chances are pretty low however considering their numbers and ours.. However with my tactical planning and my magical strength they shall bow before me! And my high luck helps quite a bit too.
I get all four of us near the road they are travelling on, making sure we are hidden and I go over the plan many times to drill it in their little pebble brains what we are doing and if we fail, getting captured is the least of our worries.
“For the final time I’m going to say this” I pinch the bridge of my nose and glare at the three sitting down crossed legged. “On my command you three will rush in to distract and hopefully harm a few while I prepare a spell to annihilate the bastards!” I make a twisted smile and crush my fist.
With me finishing my short talk they just stare at me with glazed dead eyes… Sigh… Oh, Stronk is raising his hand.
“What is it Stronk, got a question about the plan?” I tilt my head which he responds. “Food?”
… I sometimes I wish I could be as carefree as them. Than I realize that if I was, our village probably would of died out by now.
I take a deep breath trying to calm down before I smash his skull open with my staff. If he wasn’t under Sire right now, he WOULD be dead right now…
“You can eat the dead guards, how about that? If not, you will have to wait until we get back to the village. Now lets in positions!” I yell at them and they start scrambling around. "Now remember if something startles you, stab it repeatedly until you think it’s dead!”
With me finishing that sentence a bush was rustled and all three of them bum rushed it screaming and stabbing it or slashing if your Stronk.
I cough to clear my throat to try to make them stop however they continue to attack the defenseless bush. I than use the spell
When I cast it, spiky armed sized roots come out beneath them crawling over them to restrain their movements. They squeal from the surprise of it happening however calm down when nothing bad happens afterwards.
I give them a slow clap and smirk at them. “Nice job you murdered a bu-” As I was about to finish that, a dead body of a human riddled with stab wounds and a huge cut in his neck falls out of the bush...
Did these three actually kill someone by being extremely paranoid!?
Seems like they were right to be so paranoid… I have a new respect for these three and I will surely tell Sire of there great accomplishment, right after we raid the carriage!
Wait.. Why would someone be even hiding in the bushes in the first place.. Now that I get a better look at the poor sod, he looks too poor and ragged to be an adventurer… A bandit?
Great now we have more competition for the caravan! But wait, this can be used to my advantaged. Why use my own troops when I can just use someone else's and then clean up afterwards.. Kekekek..
----------------------------------------
[Merchant POV]
My name is Beltherissim Draelming Hosser, the only son of Draelming Radkimor Hosser and Tasdanrothrynight Blotorit Hosser. We come from a prestigious merchant line that sell everything in bulk! We make killings with what we do and are very respected.
The main reason we started with selling items in bulk was due to our large frames and names, was just family traditions, however we do sometimes get insulted because of them, main one we get is “pig” or “piggy’, Sigh.
We have also been known for our large hearts of gold, often giving large donations to the churches, orphanages and the poor. Just a couple weeks ago I gave away several gold coins [ Which a normal family can survive a wealthy live style, for a year on!] to the Blakewood Orphanage for abandoned orphans. Like who would possibly abandon an Orphan!? They were already abandoned before, why would you do it to them again!
Continuing on, I am heading to the town Principium for an order they asked for, and as I have close ties with the town I am personally going instead of a slave to finalize the order.
The carriage is only guarded by 4 Novices [around lv 15] from the adventurers guild because the local fauna is very docile and are low leveled. The only danger is bandits however this road has been very clean from bandits from what I heard in the last town.
So this trip should be quite easy!
Wait, what was that noise? It sounded like a-
“Gah!” “Bandits!” “They shot Kenny!” “I'll murder those bastards!”
… Heh heh.. Why did this have to happen to me!? Could that shifty guy in the alley in the last town trick me?
This is why I don't get information from unreliable sources! because of stuff like this freaking happening!
Well hopefully the novices can handle them, and if they can, heavy bonuses! Not going to skimp out on it.
And if we don't make it out of here alive.. All of my wealth shall go to my pet fish named Lecter who I always fed fava beans and some nice chianti… Jackel bless his soul..
----------------------------------------
[Nibbit's POV]
11 Bandits vs 4 novices, who will win! The bandits of course. Even though from what my skill is showing me that the novices have better gear on and higher levels, the Bandits still have superior numbers that will overwhelm them.
I myself am equal to a lv 20 due to me being a ‘Boss’, I am legitimately a boss. Feels so good to say that for some reason. So with that being said I am the strongest here, with the novices being around lv 15 and the bandits being around 10 to 13. I am also the only magic caster which gives me another advantages over those barbarians.
The only disadvantages I have is less troops than both of them and they are around the Bandit’s level except Stronk who is as strong as one of those novices, however my troops are dumb as… Which is worst, dumb as mud or bricks?
As I watch the fight I can see that the novices had to make a square around the carriage to make sure a Bandit didn’t sneak in while the Bandits just surrounded them.
The Bandits comprised of 4 swordsman, 3 spear men and 4 archers. They all wear ragged leather clothes and armour and smelled of B.O. Their leader was one of the swordsman who has an actually nice looking rapier and was in a fencing position fighting one of the Novice on equal ground.
Well, that just shows skill can be better than a level advantage, you can never assume if you have a higher lv to beat someone with a lower lv.
The novices were comprised of an archer, a thief it looks and two swordsmen. The reason why they are pretty plain is due to being low levelled. Higher levels usually unlock higher classes an example would be a Swordsmen to a Fencer which the Bandit leader is probably going for once the levels up high enough.
The fight is interesting to see as the Bandits overwhelm the Novices however they try to win an unwinnable battle unless they have something up their sleeve. I could probably turn the tide in their favour but that will just make my job harder later, better to just let them kill each other and pick off the victor like I thought earlier.
After a several minutes the Novices are dead and the leftover Bandits which are 5 in numbers and the leader is slightly hurt after the battle. They start looting the bodies and make sure that the carriage stays closed until they wish to enter.
This is now my time to strike, when they are weakened and not expecting another battle! This may seem cowardly but who cares about that, the spoils are waiting for us after killing these poor saps!
The Bandit leader will have to die first, a good
Now let's see how well this will end!
“Get ready, I don’t want a screw up” I glare at them and they stiffen up and get in the positions I instructed them to use earlier. The two spear users have them aimed forward while Stronk has his sword held in both hands and ready to swing at a moment's notice.
Three… Two… One! “Go Go Go!” I start shouting and pointing forward and cast the spells instantly hitting the Leader with both a meter long root piece of root that comes out of the ground pricing through his heart and a green magical arrow through his face as well.
His reaction was quite interesting considering he just got OWNED by me! The ultimate humiliation from dying to a Goblin!... Did I just insult myself and race?
Whatever, I think I’ve already been insulting my race for a while now.
Oh look! Stronk actually killed one of them! He ducked under one of their swings and stabbed him right in his… You know what, I actually feel bad for that one however the pain he probably felt was short lived as Stronk stabs his sword through the guy's throat afterwards.
The other two are doing a good job as they are keeping the three busy before I cast the two spells, and now the Bandits are caught and check mated! All trapped by roots than caught with the spores!
However I feel kind of drained down.. I sigh and sit down while my troops kill the sleeping bandits and start munching on them. Ravenous little things.
I sit there for a few minutes and by the time I get up, the bandit’s bodies the three were munching on are gone besides the blood stained cloths and weapons.
I just realized. How am I supposed to bring all this shit back to the village. I look at my hands and they are pretty small and considering the spear ‘twins’ are also my size that doesn’t help. Only good this is that we have Stronk and he can carry more than us but that's still not everything… Sigh, seems like we will have to leave a lot behind. Such a waste…
But we must forge ahead, there is someone still in the carriage as we speak. I use we because It’s only me and my monologue/thoughts.
“Get over here, we need to crack this sucker open. NOW!” I growl, pointing towards the carriage's door and the three run towards it.
Stronk goes to open the door while the ‘twins’ stay by the sides of the door. They seem quite nervous, but who wouldn’t, you have no idea how strong the person inside could be. The person could be 5 times stronger than the hired employees to make us lower our guard..
That’s it! Not risking it, I’m going to shoot inside with 5 poison arrows as soon as the door opens! Better to be safe than sorry right?
I nod to Stronk and he rips open the door and I cast the 5 arrows that whiz right through and hits something with a sickening flshlunk and a spray of blood exiting the carriage. There was also a horrible squeal that resounded in the air after the arrows hit.
Now that I take a closer look… I just killed an overweight pig. Heh… To think I was worried for nothing. This is definitely a blessing however!
“Stronk, grab anything that looks valuable or shiny and pile them where you ate the Bandits. You two, help me pick up the Pig here and bring him to the pile.” I bark out the commands and they quickly follow my orders.
Stronk does as the was told and starts rummaging through everything and drags everything to the pile. Coins from copper to gold, a medal, random weapons or armours [Mostly from the dead novices/bandits] and other items.
While he did that the ‘twins’ started dragging the pig out of the carriage leaving a bloody trail. I helped by casting
I love being the boss with stuff like this. You just watch everyone else do all the hard work for you.. Ahh.. So relaxing. Only problem there can be is if they are incompetent.
When that was done we had a mound of flesh and random items which will be an offering to our Sire!
Now how do I get all of this stuff to the village before nightfall…
----------------------------------------
W-we did it! After hours of grueling manual labour we dragged all of this shit to the village! We shouldn't of sacked the carriage, we should of just attacked some travelers, it would of gotten less loot however we wouldn’t have to haul all of THIS!
Calm down Nibbit, calm down.. It’s over now.. Sire will be so blessed when the sees all of this.. Yes yes.. Make Sire happy with the offering.. Maybe I will be praised!
I fist pump just thinking about being praised with my accomplishment of all the loot and stroll proudly into the village with the three pulling a huge sack of random cloth stitched together which is holding all the items and the slaughtered pig.
We also cooked it on our way here! Not far away so that it would cool down by the time we got her but it’s warm and most importantly delicious!
Ah! There he is! Right in the middle of the town square with some children!
I go grab some of the meat from the pig and rush up to him. I must give him the finest thing we got during the trip not just some sword psh.. Food is much more important!
“Sire sire! I have returned with spoils of the trip!” I have a beaming smile and extend my arms out to give him the pig meat!
He looks excited when the hears that I returned however the corner of his mouth twitched when he sees me.. Did I do something wrong? What have I done Sire! Please forgive me for whatever I have done against you!
I kneel before him and look at the ground while showing him the pig meat.
“Sire, this is the finest Pig we have ever slaughtered, and it is for you Sire, that we bestow this upon you. Your humble servant wishes you to indulge upon it’s succulent and tender flesh.. The meat not me…” Damn it! I probably sounded so wrong in front of Sire! What have I done!?
“O-oh.. U-uhm.. Thanks, Nibbit.. I will just do that…” I feel the meat leaving my grasp but I don’t look up, for I have SINNED
“Oooh! This is delicious! Did you cook this yourself Nibbit! Nice job!” He patted my head! Sire has forgiven me! MY SINS HAVE BEEN FORGIVEN!
