I remembered it vividly like a memory, I was with my family on a family trip in the woods, my dad and mom loves camping and I as well. We do this occasionally once a year, During my birthday that is.

It was a fine normal day until it all happen.

the day when I lost everything.

I am busy placing plastic plates and utensils such as spoon and fork on the picnic table while mom takes out our food on the old wooden picnic basket.

"Sweety have you seen your father?" Mom said while taking out a bag of sandwiches, I personally made it. Spicy chicken sandwiches, yum!

"dad said he'll get wood for our campfire on the woods" Hmm, I wonder if mom tried to make meatloaf again, the last time she made one made me sick for one week!

I shivered remembering that awful experience.

"Could you fetch your father Cassandra? I think It's taking too long for your father to get wood from the woods" mom said and then she laughed hard "did you hear that baby? My sentence rhymed" she said grinning, her brown eyes glitters as she laugh and her long brown hair moves as her body did.

My mom is very beautiful and I admire her so much, she is very religious and joins different bible study groups.

"Ok mom, I'll go fetch dad" I said and ran in the direction of the woods, I even heard mom yelled "Be careful!" as I enter the woods. my long brown hair catches the wind as I ran and my white dress hugs my young body and sways with the wind.

As I ran off to the woods I notice that the sky is darkening like It was going to rain heavily in a few moments.

Shoot! I don't have any umbrella with me, I mentally cursed.

"Dad!" I shouted and ran to the place where he usually gets wood for our campfire "dad? Mom and I are getting worried, your taking too long to get wood" I said and started walking instead of running.

"dad?" I saw dad's back from afar and as I am coming close to his spot, I notice that he seems to be talking to someone.

"you think you can hide from me forever Sebastian? Do you think that I will never be able locate your family? Your precious daughter?" I heard a deep voice talking to my dad and when I had reached them, I saw a seven-foot tall man wearing a black cloak hiding half of his face, facing dad.

I gasp and quickly hide behind a tree on my left and continued to listen on their conversation.

"Leave our family alone Fallen! or I shall Punish you with my cross!" dad roared sending me shivers as I watch them, dad took something from his pocket and pointed it to the mysterious man.

A cross? Just what the heck is going on here?! my heart started to pump real fast, I wanted to confront them but my legs aren't responding at all.

"Foolish Mortal, you think an old rusty cross can stop me? Haven't you forgotten our deal? I own your daughter" I twitch at the coldness of the man's voice and I'm starting to feel fear.

what does he mean that he owns me? Move legs! Move!

Dad threw the cross to the hooded man that he instantly catched, his hand burned but after awhile it faded.

"See? I told you that I cannot be harmed by your old cross" The man laugh dryly and threw the cross.

If my eyes could get even bigger I think it will pop-out in my face. What the heck is happening? Is he a devil?

"Your Insane! She is just Fifteen for God's Sake! Our contract is long gone when you have fallen into the heavens!" my dad roared.

The man stepped closer and my dad took a step backwards.

"I own her! Do you hear me you old bastard? If It wasn't for me she is long gone dead right now! Our contract can never be changed, It's permanent. only death can separate us!" then the hooded man laughed like a madman before continuing "and besides, shouldn't you be Introducing me to my property? Or should I just go and meet her myself" and then the mysterious man's head went on to my direction, deep dark blue Eyes met mine as he smile mischievously at me.

I felt my heart stopped for a second when we made eye contact deep dark blue eyes met with my forest green ones, those eyes sends warning signals on my brain saying I should make a run for it but my legs won't move at all.

"Cassandra! Run!" my dad shouted at me and I Instantly snapped out of the connection between me and the hooded man.

"Dad!" I cried as I saw my dad being lifted to the ground through his neck by the hooded man.

It all happen so fast! I did not notice him held my dad in his neck and lifted him!

"She is very beautiful Sebastian and she has an angelic name, Cassandra" I shivered as the hooded man lick his lips and showed me his fangs.

I almost fainted because of the tremendous fear I felted.

"R-un Cas-sandra! Ru-n! Lea-ve me here an-d don't let him catch you! Fin-d yo-ur mot-her quick!" dad said gasping for air as he tried to speak.

"you mean the great white witch? I haven't seen her since the day she decided to seal her magic to become human, none the less she can't stop me" the hooded man smiled demonically and looked at me.

"run sweetheart, I enjoy hunting my prey" he flashed his razor sharp fangs at me.

"Ru-an!!!!" dad shouted and as on cue I rushed away from them, crying.

God! What is that thing? am I dreaming? Please! I need to wake-up now!

"Mom! Mom!" I cried as I head back to our camping site. My head is aching.

what is that man gonna do to dad? Will he kill him? Oh God! Please no. Please protect my dad! Please!

As I am coming closer to our spot I saw mom, laying on the ground injured and their is a beast in front of her.

"Mom!" I shouted, she Instantly look at me and her eyes widened with terror.

I cried as I saw my mom's beautiful face all bruised up.

"Get away from here baby! Get away! Save yourself!" she cried, I pause and look at her, crying.

"da-dad! He-he was held by a h-hooded man!" tears were flowing down to my cheeks as I've tried to speak.

The beast is eight-foot tall and it was covered with hair. It look like a lion with a combination of wolf, It's fangs and claws are metal sharp, eyes glowing red.

It scared me to death to saw such a thing, a beast. 

"Don't come any closer! Run! Run away from us! Please Cassandra!" she screamed and just then the monster clawed my mother and ripped her body apart.

I Screamed to the top of my lungs as she had been killed by the monster.

"Mom!!" I cried, tears won't stop from flowing and my head is suffering from a headache.

The beast head look up to me, It's flaming red eyes ignited as it eyed me with savageness and prepared to charged at me.

I turned around and ran away, crying and praying the creature won't catch me. It roared and came after me, I keep bursting in tears as I ran into the woods but then I tripped on a rock and smash into the ground, I look up to see the best jumped and landing straight to me.

"God help me" I silently prayed as my vision begun to blur and time slowed as the monster's claws almost touched my skin.

Just then, Wide wings emerged from above the monster and long legs kick the best away from me.

"who-who are y-you" I managed to say before I passed out.

just then, I know now what will happen to me. To my future.

and I'm scared to face that cruel reality...
