On the plaza outside the teaching building at Brighton University, several more armored vehicles from the Wolfsbane Summit military training base suddenly arrived.

A group of young men and women stepped out, cach one exuding strength and authority.noveldrama

The striking scene left both the live-stream viewers and the on-site spectators bewildered.

Judging by their demeanor, these newcomers seemed to be acquainted with the man from the Land Rover.

What an eventful day this had turned out to be!

Earlier, Hadden had confidently declared that he possessed evidence proving Joanna had engaged in illicit dealings with multiple wealthy businessmen.

He had even sworn on his life that his claims were true.

Then, Cadoc had dramatically live-streamed his so-called tragic love affair with Joanna, exposing a web of betrayal and heartbreak.

But now? Hadden was on his knees in the plaza, his former bravado completely shattered.

Cadoc, beaten to a bloody pulp, had confessed that the entire ordeal had been orchestrated by Yvonne, who had used threats and seduction to manipulate him.

He even presented his phone, showing chat logs and voice recordings of Yvonne threatening him.

The sudden reversal of public opinion left Joanna's classmates stunned.

The internet truly was a chaotic battlefield of rumors and deceit.

How had such a monstrous lie been spread so convincingly?

It was now clear just how sinister and ruthless the mastermind behind it all had been.

Some students in the live-stream chat began to speculate.

They had heard that the eldest daughter of the Fields family had always been fond of Cadoc.

If that was the case, then it all made sense.

It was hard to believe that such a cruel and malicious scheme had been nothing more than Yvonne's fabrication.

This was slander, defamation-a crime!

If Joanna decided to pursue legal action, Yvonne could very well face serious consequences.

But who was that man who had stepped out of the Land Rover?

His face was obscured, possibly by the platform's censorship-just who was he?

He must be someone powerful!

The live-stream chat was in turmoil.

Then, the next scene left both the online audience and the onlookers in utter shock.

Robin casually pulled out a wet wipe, wiped his hands, and pointed at the blue-clad guards.

"Break out every single one of his teeth. One by one."

"Ah!"Cadoc's scream, sharp as a butchered pig's, echoed across the plaza, sending a chilling wave of horror through the crowd and the live-stream viewers alike.

"I already confessed! Why are you still torturing me?!"

"You think you can disgrace someone so thoroughly and just walk away with a simple apology?" Robin sneered, tossing the used wet wipe straight at Cadoc's bloody face.

"Is there even justice left in this world? My principles have always been clear-when correcting injustice, I

do not hold back! If you dare to provoke me or my family, you must suffer the most severe

consequences!"

The blue-clad guards grabbed Cadoc by the hair, forcing his face into the camera as they began breaking his teeth one by one.

Watching the gruesome sight, Shirley trembled with fear.

Clutching Robin's arm tightly, she whispered, "Where is Renee right now?"

One of the blue-clad guards stepped forward swiftly. "Mr. Ramsey, Ms. Renee is currently in the

administrative office of the Software Research Institute. Yvonne is there as well."

Shirley's face paled. "We have to go now! Renee will definitely be in danger!"

"Report, Commander-in-chief Ramsey!" Just then, Gavin arrived, leading a unit of Dragon Soul Special Forces veterans-all of whom had officially retired from service.

They stood in formation before Robin.

"Dragon Soul Special Forces reporting for duty!"

Robin's gaze swept over them. "I'm no longer your commander. You still hold military ranks-this isn't your place.

"Commander-in-chief Ramsey, we've all retired. We are civilians now! We once stood together on the battlefield, and to us, Commander-in-Chief Ramsey's sister is our sister as well! If anyone dares to harm Renee, we will never stand idly by! The spirit of Dragon Soul Special Forces is simple-revenge must be taken, blood must be repaid with blood! For those who challenge us, we answer with fists and blades!" Before Robin could respond, Shirley grabbed his hand urgently. "Renee is at the administrative office-we need to go now!"

Without hesitation, Catherine, Talia, Freya, Maverick, and the others followed Shirley as they sprinted toward the Software Research Institute.

Joanna stood before the department head's desk, facing two middle-aged men in formal suits and gold- rimmed glasses.

Both men wore complicated expressions as they looked at her.

"Joanna," one of them, Tristram Aguilar, spoke coldly. "Your actions have brought significant damage to the university's reputation, putting Brighton University's Software Institute in an extremely difficult position! In just the past 30 minutes, we've received hundreds of calls from higher authorities! The administration has ordered us to resolve this matter immediately before it causes further harm to the school's image." "But, Mr. Aguilar, this entire thing is a fabrication!" Joanna protested, her voice trembling with anger. Tristram scoffed. "Fabrication or not, we have yet to verify the facts. Regardless, there's no need for you to explain. You will issue a public apology. And you will voluntarily withdraw from the university. We cannot allow you to remain here any longer. Otherwise, what will the public think of our school? How will we justify our actions to our superiors?"

Tears welled up in Joanna's eyes. "Mr. Aguilar, are you really handling this without considering the truth? I was never in a relationship with Cadoc! I never chased after him, let alone harassed him! And all those disgusting rumors about me outside of school-they were completely fabricated!"

She turned sharply, pointing at Yvonne and Valda. "They're the ones who spread those lies! They defamed me!"

Tristram chuckled coldly. "Well, that's your own problem. If you've offended someone powerful, then that only proves your poor judgment. We are not interested in resolving your personal conflicts. The Institute does not concern itself with petty disputes between students."

Yvonne smirked smugly. "Joanna, the entire internet is filled with your scandals now. Even if you didn't do any of those things, the world believes you did. You should just accept it! You shouldn't have crossed the Fields! If you can't handle it, go find a quiet place and end it yourself! Hahaha!"

Joanna's body shook with rage. She wiped away her tears and gritted her teeth.

"If the university doesn't stand up for justice, then I'll go directly to the police! I'll take this to court and charge them with defamation!"

Bump!

Tristram slammed his palm on the desk, his face contorted with fury.

"Joanna! What exactly do you think you're doing?! You think this ridiculous case will make it to court? Do you have any evidence? Do you even know who Ms. Yvonne's father is? Her father's classmates are the Chief Justice, the Chief Prosecutor, and high-ranking officials in law enforcement! With a family background like that-highly educated, well-versed in law-why would they need to frame a poor student like you? What nonsense! If you keep making a scene, I'll have security throw you out myself!" Staring at Tristram, who had always carried himself as a refined and respectable scholar, Joanna suddenly felt completely disillusioned.

Was there truly no one in this world willing to uphold justice?
