Dark path. Test run only, not canon. A worldly tale Scrap 1: Trauma(good ending)
“The one I choose iiiis. This!!!” Nozomi said, pulling an old dvd out of her bag
Everyone except Daisuke looked confused.
Daisuke looked absolutely horrified
“Oh come on. It’s been years. Why are you still scared of it?” Nozomi asked
“I’m not scared of the movie itself, but from the voices I hear in my head during the movie that none of you guys hear. And the screaming. The blood curdling screaming.” Daisuke said, trembling. He clutched his head and curled into a ball on the ground.
“Um. The what? Wait, hold on. Nozomi, let me see that.” Evan said
He looked it over
“No, Nozomi, Daisuke is right. This thing is haunted. Oh dear. Daisuke, did you watch any movies right before this one? Specifically the dvd. And any nightmares about it?.” Evan asked
“Dad had one of those shows on with mom, and Daisuke walked in on it when he was little. Since then it has been in his dreams every night.” Nozomi said
“Wait, so Daisuke is being haunted by an adult video model? This thing isn’t human, wait. Oh. They like anime?” Evan asked
“They love it, why?” Nozomi asked
“I don’t know whether it’s good or bad, it’s up to you, but Daisuke is being haunted by a girl from an adult anime. Well, haunted isn’t exactly accurate. Possessed is a much better way to put it. Basically her volume and video settings are funky, if that makes sense. Gimme a sec.” evan said, doing tons of random looking measurements
“Ok. Gimme a sec to build this. You guys wanna see a magic trick? Rai I need you to help me. Act 3. Got it?”
Evan asked
“Yep. The training was definitely a good idea. It’s finally paying off.” Rai said
“Okay. Watch closely. Tell me if you see what happens.” Evan said
He used creation magic to pop materials into midair
“Dad, that’s cheap. They aren’t ever going to figure it out.” Rin said
“It’s just me and Rais magic show. Echoes. Sounds cool right?” Evan asked
“Um. No. Not here. It doesn’t fit well.” Rin said, thinking
“Hmm. Well I guess we can try again with the name next time. Did any of you guys see how it worked?” Evan asked
“No. They couldn’t figure that out in a million years, dad.” Rin said
“Hm. I’m not too sure about that. You almost let the secret to my magic trick out earlier. Ah. Finished it.” Evan said
He finished putting the machine together.
“Alright just gotta…. there we go, now turn this on… flip this switch. And this switch. And start.” Evan said
A garbled bloodcurdling screech came from a speaker, which Evan adjusted, with a hand over his ears
It became a voice
“Hello!!!! Can anyone hear me?? Help!!!!” The pretty voice yelled
“Hello pretty voice lady, what is your name?” Evan asked
“.......huh?......I’m finally going crazy. Welp. I should just float for eternity at this point, unthinking, then.” the voice said as if it were making fun of itself
“Uh. No. I’m actually here. Hi hi, hello! Hm. How do you normally speak to adult anime characters? Rai do I speak differently?” Evan asked
“I can understand you perfectly. You can hear this right? Hellooooo.” The voice said
“Yeah. Gimme a sec. I’m bringing you into this world. That place has gotta be pretty dark and cold.” Evan said
“Yes, please! While I have gotten used to the void, it doesn’t mean I like it. It’s better than some other stuff though.” The pretty voice said sadly
“Hm. While I’m setting this up, tell me a bit about yourself. You definitely don’t seem to be a main character. Thankfully. What’s your name?” Evan asked
“Oh. I can’t seem to recall. why. My names don’t feel right if I’m being honest. I’d record my memories if I could, but I can’t write anything down in heeeeeerreeee.” The girl said, voice warping
“And then I press this button and voila. Real life anime girl.” Evan said
“She just looks like a really pretty girl.” Rai said
“Well, I gave her a 3D body. I chose a completely human one. She is a real person after all.” Evan said, putting a towel on her
“You okay?” Evan asked
He looked at her neck and wrists. They were different from what he had designed
He frowned
“Where… am I? Am I out of the void? Who are you, god? No, you look human. If you don’t mind. I’ll sit and process this for a bit. Are we watching a movie?” The girl asked, slightly losing it. Her eyes were slightly crazed, wide and unblinking. They seemed to already be bloodshot and dry.
“Ah. It’s nice to meet you. I’m Evan.” Evan said, holding out his hand.
“Why are you floating? Also, why did you help me? Nobody is this nice to a stranger. You after something? Me? Cause I’m not giving you that.” The girl said
“Why would I want that?” Evan asked
“My dad just figured out you were possessing my brother's friend. He doesn’t really want anything. He probably just didn’t want to kill or injure an innocent person.” Rin said
“Dad? Oh, a married man. Nevermind, then. Apologies.” The girl said, shaking his hand
The marks on her wrist were a lot more obvious
“You’re a bit…. I see. Rin. Can you make sure Rai doesn’t misbehave? I’ll be bringing The lady down to your mother. You stay up here. Watch a movie .” Evan said
His face stopped for a second. He looked exactly the same after pausing, but it felt fake to Rai.
She, too, saw.
“I get it. Make sure she gets a bit better.” Rai said
Evan took the girl downstairs, her legs started to give out at the doorway, making it hard for Evan to help her stand
“Lime, little help please?” Evan asked supporting her but barely keeping them both from falling
“Ah! Oh my, who is this? Dear, what happened while you were up there? It's been less than twenty minutes since you guys went up.” Lime asked, catching her other arm
“Short answer. She’s from an adult anime. Not the good kind. That’s gonna leave a scar by itself. But on top of that, she’s been trapped in an endless void, floating, for years. Years in our time. For her it’s been… considering the speed of her voice from the original audio of her, the likely amount of time she spent there probably totals more than four centuries of loneliness, with nothing to do. That is another very deep scar. Or, rather, a wound which only stopped bleeding because it can't bleed anymore. A cold, dead, open, unhealable wound. And another issue. Her coming here. And one that is going to hit hard when we let her know what she is. Another world being real and her own being fake? That’s hard for anyone. Anyone. Even god would get disturbed by something like that.” Evan said, frowning
“I brought her down because, I don’t really want to drop this on you, but you are the best person I know that can handle this kind of situation. Actually... Right now, you’re the only one I know. Sorry.” Evan said
“Evan. Honey. Dearest. This is something your wife can handle for you happily. But it is serious. Can you tell me exactly how big that first scar is?” Lime asked
“Mental, emotional, and physical. Everything in between. On a major level. I’m pretty sure it twisted her sanity so much it went back to normal. The void started twisting it as well. We need to untwist to the first normal. Then twist her back to her original personality. Before the next two realizations can hit her. I suggest taking her to Alice's room in the study for now.” Evan said
“Agreed. What about power?” Lime asked
“.......normal. Unfortunately.” Evan said, blinking oddly at the girl
“You read them just now didn’t you. Is it bad?” Lime asked
“Define bad. These memories will instantly redefine your idea of it.” Evan said, dazed for a second
“Alright, let’s bring her there.” Lime said, holding part of her up.
“Yeah.” Evan said
He wanted to puke.
“It wasn’t just something from an anime lime. The place she lived in is actually real. She is a character, but today is not the first time she’s left her story. That place I saw…” Evan said
“Dear, are you okay?” Lime asked
“No. That reminded me of why I hate humans. There weren’t any people there. Other than victims. And she couldn’t die if she wanted to. Look.” Evan said, turning over her wrist
“What? How? You made this body for her not that long ago!” Lime said
“Look closer.” Evan said
“What?....oh…...this is seriously horrible. What kind of world did she live in? I see what you mean by retwisted. They didn’t even let her go insane to escape her reality, did they? The neck, too. This is awful. They’re etched into her soul itself. Not her body. Even if you were to remove and replace the hand it would reappear. Even I’m not sure I want to touch sanity controlling drugs. Look at her arm. This poor girl.” Lime said. There were tears in her eyes.
“Sane and conscious the entire time, for an eternity of what would normally be mind breaking torture. Having no escape physically or mentally, and every coping mechanism of the human body being denied, full awareness as they cut open her stomach, bashed her head in, drowned her, raped her….. I’ll… go take a break. It’s better for just you to be here.” Evan said, walking out
“Even the hells I know aren’t worth a damn to a life like that. The hell that people go insane even thinking about is like a grain of sand compared to the goddamn beach! Who the hell designs an entire reality with such twisted rules?” Evan said, punching a wall
It did nothing, frozen in time
He had seen another reality.
Countless worlds, built for the sole purpose of finding and using the ultimate form of torture. Forget a normal rope. What they used was far worse. The stuff she had seen. The stuff she had been given. There were pills that relieved her need to rest, and her ability to stop focusing. There were drugs to increase the understanding of pain. She hadn’t even been there a few days before they performed a vicious removal of the top of her skull, with a hammer. The brain itself couldn’t feel pain, but they stuck an odd computer chip down in it, and she cringed and twitched at the squelching. She connected to a computer with her mind. For a minute she wondered what it was for. Her answer came a second later. It removed certain limitations that the brain had, the things that capped at an already extreme level, such as pain. It expanded how much she could process and feel. The amount increased more and more over time, infinitely. She was being simultaneously pumped full of both a grey liquid which healed her, and the pink fluid which forced sanity. The pain only got worse from there. She was one of the lucky ones. On every planet, they had established factories, doing exactly what had been done to her on countless people. Some even dragged from their original worlds of dimensions. They couldn’t die of age, either…... And they say hell is a demon stabbing you with pitchforks for eternity. Whatever it is, it’s nothing compared to that world, that universe, that galaxy. That reality.
“Is it right to try and convince her to live, if she asks us to kill her? A reality made for torture? That’s a pretty bad place, all right. It fits in the rules I’ve set against using that power easily. With it, forget one reality…. I could destroy them all. Let’s go blow some shit up. I’ll personally take care of the people in charge first. How…. disgusting.” Evan said, hatred flowing through his blood.
Well, that’s an understatement.
He wasn’t worried about destabilizing such a wrong reality. An efficient reality from which the product was only one thing. Torture. Hand crafted. Specially designed. Innocent and guilty alike. That reality? That was child’s play… no, bacteria compared to this one. Etching a wound into a soul. A pretty damn special rule has to be used to do that. Rules are the things that cause reality to work. For ours, living things are considered normal matter and energy. We work like we are supposed to, the rules neither favoring nor disliking us. Rules that target a living being can only be made by a living being. They are the only things that can think that up. Not every rule makes itself. And not just anybody can make a rule. Only a god can. A being of great and unimaginable power.
Thankfully, it was also an infinite amount weaker than his own.
“So… that’s the god? This disgusts me. He looks normal. Not handsome. Not ugly. Not old. Not young. Average. He isn’t even on the level of a human, at this point. And I can’t even think of anything worse than a human. This isn’t an argument of concepts. It was made to be hated and disgusted by any side, both concepts of bad and good alike. It’s rules are literally centered on trying to make it the worst thing-Oh, no. He couldn’t be.... I’m killing him instantly. And breaking it. As the one who presides over everything, It is my duty to destroy this. I’ll do so gladly. The only thing I won’t mess with are the innocent victims of your horrific reality.” Evan said, clicking his fingers. The entire reality and everything connected to it, except its innocent victims, was destroyed.
He returned to the library.
He fixed them up with a snap. All of the innocent people seemed confused. But they were healed back to how they were, before they lived in the other reality. Evan did something that was completely against his principles. He manipulated their memories, trying not to destroy who they are, yet separate what happened. It was hard. But they seemed… better. If there even is a form of better after that horror.
He went to a corner in the library, and entered a code. A secret door opened
It was a room, which looked oddly infinite, and was pure white everywhere. It was flat, as well.
“White room. Connect to tower.” Evan said
[Connected to reality:Tower]
“List available dimensions suitable for human habitation in order from most suitable to least. Developed world. No living things. Everything pristine. And no bodies, either. There has to be buildings. Make sure the survivors I’m bringing in can live there safely, and dispatch one guide. They have to have multiple worlds that have the same conditions. Choose from the list freely, at your discretion. Then, connect to it.” Evan said
[Scanning….]
[Dimension found. Would you like to name it?]
“Yes. Treal seri inno surv 35023. Bookmark it.” Evan said
The white room started to change. The ground rose, like mountains on a three dimensional map. It seemed to become spherical as well. In the sky, space seemed to pop into existence. The stars and planets, too. When you looked down it looked white and clear at the same time. The center seemed to turn yellow, the layers of the planet building up, changing colors. It reached Evans feet, and colors shot across the entire planet. It looked like it was being sketched and colored into existence around them, until it was almost exactly like earth.
Evan made a motion, and it brought up a map, with a holographic keyboard.
He typed some stuff in and dragged stuff around on a screen, causing the entire original white room area to seem like it stayed in place, with the universe moving around it. He passed through all physical objects and scrolled his position into an abandoned city, pausing in the center
“White room. Add guide x1. Prepare for transfer of mass amounts of people, with various stages of sanity and trauma. Just do what I need you to do. Make sure it’s fine on the other planets, too.” Evan said
[Understood]
Evan snapped his fingers, and the people appeared everywhere around the planet in each dimension. The guide that was in the room, a hovering sphere which could change shape, vanished from the room. In front of each person, a single guide appeared, just like the one who had vanished.
“As I said, take care of the rest. Like I would do, if I were here. And shut off white room connection feed. I've seen what I needed to see... I’ve already healed them, but do another checkup on physical health, as well as mental, just in case.” Evan said
The room went pitch black. Then white. The original white room had returned, and Evan exited out the door, flicking a light switch off.
He returned to the room with the girl
She had been calmed quite a lot by lime, for someone who had gone through all of what she experienced.
“Oh. Dear. She’s awake. I think she is ready to talk now.” Lime said
“Mhm. I have something to tell her first. Ask her, actually. It’s the least I can do. You have 4 choices. First, I’ve set up an entire dimension for the victims. But, I’m assuming that’s a no.” Evan said, holding up one finger
“That is a no. Some of them I…. did not like.” She said
“Second option, then. I can kill you, and either allow you to reincarnate, or be destroyed, body and soul, completely. I don’t recommend that. Even if you say yes, I’m still going to list the rest.” Evan said, holding up his thumb, making the shape of a gun with his two fingers. A gun appeared in front of him, and he set it off to the side.
“Dear! That’s a bit mu-“ lime started
“Unless there’s something better, complete destruction. Please.” The girl said, a pathetic and eager look on her face.
“Fine. Third option, freedom. I’ll let you loose with a few things to survive off of.” Evan said, holding up three fingers
“Um…. no.” The girl said
“Then. The final one. You can, if you want to, join us here. As our family. I’m going to guess lime won’t let me destroy you easily anyway, so here. That gun will destroy you completely.” Evan said, throwing her the gun
“Up to you. I’ll accept either decision. I’ll just let you know, so if you choose it, you can Rest In Peace. I wiped out the entire reality. To the very last rule. I put the evil souls in an eternal torture equivalent to what they did to others. The only thing that I spared were the innocent. As I mentioned earlier. So, I got revenge for you. Ill… leave. Depending on what I hear, or what I don’t, I’ll know your choice. I’ll be right outside. Lime, if you want to stay, you can. It may be gruesome if she wants to die, but at least hold her hand. Please.” Evan said, leaving the room
He stood outside. Waiting.
He sat. Waiting longer.
The girls would let him know.
He hoped he was right.
Eventually, lime poked her head out the door
“Dear. I think she chose life. Hopefully, she chose us. Quite a nice big sister, right?” Lime asked
“That’s what I had hoped for….” Evan said, a weak smile on his face
“Lime. Did you tell him?” The girl asked
“Can I come in?” Evan asked
“He’s asking if he can come in” lime said
“Yes.” The girl said
“Dear, She said come in.” Lime said
Evan entered the room, and stood in front of her.
He asked a question.
“Do you have a name?” Evan asked
“Can you give me one?” The girl responded
Evan smiled, hugging her
“Yes! Definitely!” Evan said, relieved
“Dear, are you going to choose off of that strange list?” Lime asked
“Mhmm. She’s one of us now! The tradition carries on!” Evan said
“Dear, you doesn’t exactly fit the tradition.” Lime said
“What do you mean? I have a fruit in my name!” Evan said
“As a middle name.” Lime said
“That….still counts. Plus, it’s a good middle name.” Evan said
“Indeed it is. But it’s Kaki. It’s… way too fitting…. Your name is Evan kaki kami. It’s… the last two are obvious but why evan? It doesn’t make sense to me. Especially when it comes to you saying it’s fitting.” Lime said{This part, the name, is actually canon. His middle name is Kaki.}
“It’s not Japanese, but it means god is good. That’s why you always hear Akari talking about how god is not always good, or differentiating me from god.” Evan said
“You aren’t really the same person. Adding in the zoning out, it’s definitely not normal.” Lime said
“Oh. I have many natural souls, and they are all fused. Unlike other people who usually have two at most, normally one. That may be why.” Evan said
“Do souls have to do with a person’s personality?” Line asked
“Hm? No. It allows them to have one. Or more. Each soul can split. Ummmm. Think of souls, in the case of personalities, as a cell or something. It’s very different but the thought you have, if you forget the science behind it, when you watch a blood cell split. Take that, and put it at the very last moment before they split. Each is a different personality connected to the main soul. If something happens it can split again and again. Ah. I’m rambling.” Evan said
“Sorry. A name. I got it. A good one. It suits you. You may be a little tangy and sour right now, but my hope is for you to mellow out, find comfort. Momoshiro. But just momo, too. If that makes sense. Right now you are just momo. If you ever find something you enjoy, something you love. A passion. Momoshiro. From a tang to a mellow sweet. A hope for you to learn to love life, and have a peaceful one at that.” Evan said
The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
“That’s...quite nice. What exactly do you mean by tang or mellow sweet?” Momo asked
“Hm. Well, to give an example, these are both peaches. One is a tangy and zesty peach. The other is a mellow and sweet peach. These won’t go bad, ever. Try the yellow one. I think it fits this moment well.” Evan said, smiling as he handed her two fruits
Momo took a bite out of the yellow peach.
It was, as Evan had said, tangy, but good. She smiled. Something that she had never really done before, so she didn’t quite understand why it was happening.
“My mouth keeps doing this and twitching whenever I try to make it normal.” Momo said, confused
“That’s a smile. Like what’s showing on my face and limes. It’s on yours, too. It shows both others and yourself that you’re happy. But only when it’s not forced. For example, like how lime smiles when she’s mad” Evan said
“Darling?” Lime asked, smiling
“See. There is a large differererer- I may or may not have messed up. Lime forgive me! Please. Ack. Your soft attacks are too cute. You know I can’t stand them. Momo, help. Please!” Evan asked, squirming, as Lime tickled him
Momo paused for a moment, thinking
“That’s what I want! I get it now!” Momo said
“Hm? Momo? You okay?” Evan asked
“Momo, dear. What’s wrong?” Lime asked
“I want to help people. People like me!” Momo said
“Oh! Lime, I have an idea. You have any?” Evan asked
“Superhero?” Lime asked
“....You truly are childish in the cutest of ways. I was talking about getting her into the same line of work as Rai, or asking Rai to help us with understanding what kind of police officer would deal with that kind of stuff.” Evan said
“Ah! I didn’t even think about the police! Dear, you're a genius!” Lime said
“What’s a police officer?” Momo asked
“Oh. Hm. It may take a while to figure out what you do and don’t know. I guess you guys didn’t have things like police. They help keep the peace, protect lives, and help capture and stop people who do things similar to what happened to you. All of those would be considered helping people. They are what would be referred to as the good guys. Well, I have to let you know about one thing. Just so you don’t get surprised. Lime is the head of all organized crime in the world. She stops crime from occurring outside of a specific set of rules, such as what areas are okay. So A person who sells stuff like drugs doesn't just walk around a peaceful neighborhood. Even the stupid ones listen. So she’s a criminal that’s a good guy that is also working with the government.” Evan said
“Mhmm. I can try to help get you guys more information on the nasty things like human trafficking so you can help as many people as possible.” Lime said
“So… you’re a criminal? Wouldn’t the government be related to police? If so, wouldn’t lime get arrested?” Momo asked
“No, because while she is the leader of all of Japan’s organized crime, she doesn’t really do anything that is a high enough priority for them to literally be unable to ignore. Since she limits the areas crime can occur in, it stops it from spreading more to areas just outside of it. The smaller it is, the easier time you will have finding criminals. The government values her because she understands what the organized part of organized crime means. It’s organized for a reason. If you bust one guy, another will always be there to take his place. Keeping that dude on the same street corner will help people identify safe places or….not so safe places. Though I suggest asking me to help if you go on stuff like busts. I can teach you magic. Your valves are decent enough for you to learn good enough magic, not exactly as good as Rin or Rai, but still good.” Evan said
“Speaking of, didn’t you promise to open rins mana valves? She turned 13 recently.” Lime said
“I did. So I’ll be focusing on her. Hm. Ooooh. Lime. I had an idea.” Evan said
“What’s that?” Lime asked
“Gin. Are you there?” Evan asked
“As I always am, yes.” Gin said
“Would you mind helping this girl learn martial arts? Her name is Momo. Momo, this is gin. Gin, this is momo.” Evan said
“Master. She is of my kind. I can teach her the techniques that are unique to her spirit type. Shall I also do that?” Gin asked
“Mhmm. That’s why I called you. I would appreciate it greatly.” Evan said
“Of course, master.” Gin said
“I’m what? Oh, wait. Nice to meet you, Gin.” Momo said
“She’s what?” Lime asked
“She is a spirit.” Gin replied
“Yes, I heard that. But she’s weak. Aren’t spirits usually strong? And how would she be a spirit?” Lime asked
“It helps explain why she was able to possess an object. What else do you think could have done that? If there was some dangerous wizard out there that could do that, I wouldn’t let Rin outside to help us.” Evan said
“Yes, but.. how did she possess it?” Lime asked
“Um. Gin? Momo?” Evan asked
“Oh. I remember getting sucked into something, and being stuck.” Momo said
“Master. She is of the Sylph species. They presided over air, and can reside in it, as well as manipulate it. Her absorption was likely due to this process going wrong.” Gin said
{“It’s not bec-okay, yeah, it’s because of that. That makes sense. Gin, how rare are people of your kind?” Evan asked, pinched by lime
“Hm. I’m unsure. Our kind is... odd. We are connected with mana beasts, oddly enough {Canon}. I’m unsure if they are connected with us, or if it is us with them. That may have something to do with it. As for what I assume for the rarity of my kind, there are only two of most mythical beasts. Sometimes one, like gon, the English dragon spirit. Would you like me to list them, or leave it? I can also provide additional details of each species. However, the list is not complete and only a few bits of the information are confirmed to have a higher than 87% chance of being accurate. {Canon}” Gin said
“Yes. Please. The more the better. Where is Gon, by the way?” Evan asked
“Um. Apologies, master. Gon has run off, and I had to do other things. I did not think the priority of looking for him was of any importance. Shall I begin to search for him?” Gin asked
“No. Leave him. He’s young. Let him enjoy the world. I’m more interested in the list. How many are there?” Evan asked
“Quite a large amount. Even excluding ones that have no historical importance or significance. I shall start. We have almost no information on gender, Age, personality, location. And other similar things are unknown as well.” Gon said, pulling a scroll from his shadow
“There is the water horse. Its called the kelpie. As with most on the list, the knowledge is limited to just its abilities. As it suggests, it can to some extent control water. It is not that much, however. Its main skills include walking on and running on water. And… it’s strongest attack is a drop kick apparently. Oh. It does seem interesting. Covers itself in water to help it fight. Apparently it can boost the drop kick significantly.
Oh, it gets easier to read here. Looks like they wrote it wrong.
Then we have,
The Adarna.
Its main skills are to put others to sleep. Then it slowly transforms a person with its petrifaction ability to something I’m not sure of. Most likely stone. It’s last ability seems to be the most important for it. It can heal. To what extent, how, and at what speed it can heal, there is no information. It doesn’t seem to have any attacks other than petrification.
The Alicanto
It’s main skill is finding fortunes easier. This page on the list makes no sense, and it doesn’t list this as a spirit that is confirmed to exist. Apologies.
The Phoenix.
It’s main skills are fire and ash manipulation. Rebirth, which seems to be something similar to the Phoenix in the stories. A weak form of immortality. It seems to have some sort of wind manipulation as well. It’s strongest ability, combat wise, is its ability to make wings of fire and fly. As for how it works, we have no clue.
The Caldrius.
It’s main skills seem to be a type of poison manipulation, though from the description, I think it actually may be the ability to draw in or release any form of disease, and possibly wounds. The second would explain the cuts and wounds people have had after fighting it in the past. So a healing ability, again.
Fenghuang
It’s main skills seem to be animal control, specifically birds. It apparently weakens evil and strengthens good. The rest of this.. I’m unsure
The Ulama
Considering the previous descriptions this one is quite simple. They can see their own death, or possibly just the future, and try to avoid it. It can also give that up to release a powerful shockwave which will cause a death curse that can be removed after the spirit has been killed. They become unable to see their own death, so it becomes incredibly easy to kill them. You will only get around 15 minutes to do so, and the shockwave is around the area of a football field. That is a lot of information.
Zhenniao birds.
There are many types of these birds, also referred to as poisonfeather birds. So they use poison, and each of them seems to have a unique form of its power. Zhen birds are rather low on a power tier list, but they still have the ability to kill if you aren’t careful.
The Chalkydri
This spirit increases the power of any other bird spirit it chooses. It seems to have mediocre talents in using water magic. They also seem to have a lot of charisma and cause lots of other people to become attracted or follow them. It seems it can cause bird spirits to sing. I have no idea what that’s referring to.
Misaki
It seems to be referring to a large number of miscellaneous spirits, but it might be more organized if it were written properly.
The last one it mentions here is interesting.
Kitsune
That’s what I am. Honestly, there are a few different types of us out there. My family. You should know my powers well.” Gin said
“I thought you said there were a lot.” Evan said
“Master, this is volume one of an entire library full of scrolls. Though, it does eventually trail into ones that could possibly exist, or have previously existed, rather than ones that already do. Those were some of the birds. The kitsune takes up approximately three shelves worth of scrolls, and some are missing. I guess it’s important enough to go back to the first and add us in. But, I apologize. My work was not satisfactory. I shall not fail again.” Gin said, sternly
“You haven’t failed me even once. This gives me more than enough information for now. But, gin. Those are gods from a normal person's perspective. I don’t think many people meet those very often. It’s also useless to try to keep an accurate record of the current incarnation. Gin, how did you become a spirit?” Evan asked
“Ah. I’ve been one my entire life. I’m a spirit by birth. So I’m a new type of spirit altogether, not any of the ones listed In the records. I do admit that I share a lot of similarities with various gods. That isn’t uncommon. The new incarnations are one thing, but keeping track of every new spirit born, and it’s abilities, is next to impossible.” Gin said
“So you’re one of the new spirit gods, then?” Evan asked
“No. Not exactly. I’m more of a god of spirits, with power equal to or greater than the older gods. But I’ve left that behind. It may be an honor to be a god, but to me, serving you is an honor far greater.” Gin said} <--{Canon(Not introduced, yet.) Spoiler.}
“Well said. While it’s a bit stiff, I have always appreciated you looking out for me all these years. It’s been a while since we just talked. You didn’t mention sylphs, now that I think about it. You were going to explain what Momo is, right?” Evan asked
“Apologies! It slipped my mind. Yes, typically a sylph is similar to a wind spirit. There’s definitely another sylph out there, so you would be the second one. As for the exact details, I was going to drag-convince the other sylph to come over and help.” Gin said
“I’m not sure it’s too good of an idea. But I don’t want her hurt by the guns and such stuff. am I worrying too much?.” Lime said
“No. well, yes, but that’s who you are” evan said
“I like you like this, lime.” Momo said
“Aw. I have to agree now. That face is adorable.” Lime said
“Cool! Right? That is the right word, correct?” Momo asked, smiling
“Momo. I told you about forced smiles didn’t I? You don’t want to push yourself. I’ve tried my best, but it hasn’t been too long since you got out of the void. Speaking of, how are you feeling with your body? Is everything okay? Do you feel limited in any way?” Evan asked
“In all honesty, I’m not used to it. So I can’t move right yet. Sorry about forcing my smile.” Momo said
“Oh. That will happen. Yeah.” Evan said
“Evan. You down here?” Rai called
“Yeah. We’re over here.” Evan said
“Oh. That’s good, you guys have been gone for a while. Everything good? Also, we started the movie without you.” Rai said
“Whaaaat?! Aw, man. You guys coming with me?” Evan asked
“I’m going back to my cooking lesson.” Lime said
“Oh! Can I watch?” Momo asked
“Of course.” Lime said
“Master, I will go and bring the person I was talking about here. I will see you later.” Gin said a very slight smile on his face
“Good luck, Gin.” Evan said
He melted into the shadows.
“Evan hurry up! We’re going to miss the chance to scare Daisuke.” Rai asked
“Got it!” Evan said, alarmed
They both rushed back into the room, and sat down
Scrapped 2. This one requires a warning, for people who don't like bitter or sad endings.
{}<--parts that are just the same as above
{“The one I choose iiiis.
I’ll be bringing The lady down to my wife.
“Lime, little help please?” Evan asked supporting rose but barely keeping them both from falling
Or, rather, a wound which only stopped bleeding because all the blood flowed out so it can’t exit through there anymore.
“It wasn’t just something from an anime, lime.
Even I’m not sure I wanna touch sanity controlling drugs.
The brain itself couldn’t feel pain, but they stuck an odd computer chip down in it, and she cringed at twitched at the squelching. On every planet, they had established things like factories, doing exactly what had been done to her on countless people. Some even dragged from their original worlds of dimensions. They couldn’t die of age, either…... And they say hell is a demon stabbing you with pitchforks for eternity. Whatever it is, it’s nothing compared to that world, that universe, that galaxy. That reality. The person who did it made sure everyone knew exactly why he did it. He said there wasn’t a reason. He was strong as a god to them. They couldn’t do anything.
“Is it right to try and convince her to live, if she asks us to die?
Etching a wound onto a soul. One of greater power than lime.
Thankfully, it was also an infinite amount weaker than his own.
“So… that’s the god that does this for no reason?
Ask. It’s the least I can do. You have 4 choices.
First, I’ve set up an entire dimension for the victims. But, I’m assuming that’s a no.” Evan said, holding up one finger
“That is a no. Some of them I…. did not like.” She said
“Second option, then. I can kill you, and either allow you to reincarnate, or be destroyed body and soul. I don’t recommend this.
Please.” The girl said, a somber look on her face.
Ill… leave. Depending on what I hear, or don’t, I’ll know your choice. I’ll be right outside. Lime, if you want to stay, you can. It may be gruesome if she wants to die, but at least hold her hand. Please.” Evan said, leaving the room
The girls would let him know.
He stood outside. Waiting.
He sat. Waiting longer.}
He hoped he was right.
A gunshot went off, and he grimaced.
He was wrong.
"No, there wasn't a chance in hell I was right. Of course that would be her choice. If I was in her position, I would have done the same." Evan said, a single tear of understanding sliding down his cheek.
He walked in. Lime was sitting on the bed, a fresh corpse in her arms and tears running down her cheeks. She was covered in blood and brains, gore and viscera. The body in her arms was missing almost it's entire head. The strength of the gun had blown chunks of her everywhere across the room.
Lime looked up at him
"I was there for her until the end..." Lime said, trying, and failing, to smile
He held her in his arms as her body gave out from the shock.
"You did well." Evan said
He threw a blanket over the now melting corpse.
It tasted sour, putting a bitter taste in their mouth.
Evan rested his head on lime, falling asleep.
"A tear wouldn't do this moment justice. Lime, I don't like this. I need you...I love you. Stay with me. Never leave me.... Please." was his last thought, as he drifted off to sleep, blood now staining both of them, coagulating into a sticky mess.
