Vrika looks at them and says “Do you want to get your asses kicked as well or would you rather take these idiots to the infirmary. And don’t worry about that idiot over there making your life miserable, who would make a fit about being taken to the infirmary after being kicked in their asses.”
The boys just looked at each other and then glanced around at all their ‘friends’ that were on the ground and without a single thought they start lifting them up and placed them out of the gym just so that they could be away from those two devils, while one of them went off to get the school nurse and doctor. By the time that they got to Evert, he was up sitting on the ground disoriented, just staring all around. They hesitated for a few seconds before carrying him off as well.
Meanwhile, the twin brothers sat on a bench laughing.
“You idiot, what hell were you thinking picking a fight with those idiots over there,” Vrika says punching Hari on the arm playfully.
“Ouch, that hurt. Well, all I did was expose their bullying and they held a grudge just because of that. They are the idiots, not me.”
“Hold on wait a minute.” Saying so Vrika goes near the freezer and takes out a few icepacks and returns to take a seat.
He then hands out half of the ice packs that he took to Hari and then starts to press his own ice packs on his sore muscles. Hari follows suit as they sit there smiling.
“So how long do you think it will be before the adults come in bursting huh?” Hari asks.
“Well with how much trouble that your fugly ass caused, pretty soon,” Vrika says.
“Me, and fugly? You must have gotten some sort of concussion when you got hit. How could you call my handsome face fugly? Well, you are no oil painting yourself, might you be jealous?” Hari asks as if he really was curious.
“Huh, me jealous of you? Look at this handsome face, does it look like its owner needs to be jealous.” Vrika scoffs pointing and rubbing at his face.
The twins were not identical and looked quite different from each other.
Hari was on the lithe side. He was lean but didn’t appear weak. He was about 5 feet 10 inches in height and had short curly hair. He was brown-skinned and clean-shaven with a constant grin on his face, it was rare to find him serious. He was a ball of energy even at 17, which gave him a boyish charm making people doubt he actually was 17. His face was a little chubby with him still not having lost his baby fat yet.
Vrika on the other hand was burlier but not large. He was a proper Middleweight boxer and was ripped with an athletic body. He was about 6 feet tall with a Taper fade. He was brown-skinned with a slightly darker tone and a square jaw with a clean shave. He was colder than Hari and yet was sociable, forming a small but close-knit group of friends. His martial arts background instilled him with discipline and patience, something that Hari lacked.

As they were poking at each other, the door to the Gym was flung open and a middle-aged man with greying hair, clad in a navy blue suit burst into the Gym. Along with him came a few other adults, some pudgy, some thin, and many entitled.
“WHAT HAPPENED HERE?” Bellowed the man.
“MR. SIVAKUMAR, MIGHT I ASK WHY YOU AND YOUR BROTHER ASSAULTED YOUR FELLOW STUDENTS?” He asks with the same intensity of a barely restrained convict making death threats.
“Well, we just defended ourselves from being assaulted by those fellow students.” Replies Hari heatedly.
“LIES. THAT’S NOT WHAT I HEAR FROM WHAT MR.MCGRIFF HAD TO SAY.”
“And what did he say, Sir?” Asks Vrika as calmly as can be.
“HE EXPLAINED THAT WHEN HE WENT TO CONFRONT THE BASELESS ALLEGATIONS THAT YOUR BROTHER HERE MADE, HE WAS PROVOKED VICIOUSLY BY HIM AND WAS TRICKED INTO FOLLOWING HIM TO THIS GYM WHICH WAS ISOLATED BY YOU.” The man says pointing animatedly at Hari and Vrika.
“HE AND HIS FRIENDS WERE THEN AMBUSHED BY YOU AND YOUR BROTHER. HE ALSO TOLD ME THAT YOU SENT THAT FAKE VIDEO OF YOURS TO THE POLICE, AND BLACKMAILED HIM WITH OTHER SUCH VIDEOS.” He then accused after which he took a deep calming breath.
“What a load of shit.” Says Hari as soon as he heard the accusations made against him.
“What did you just say?” Asks the man glaring at Hari.
“You heard me Headmaster Faul. I said that it is a load of shit.” Hari parrots.
“Do you have any proof that the statement given by him is false?”
“Do you have any proof that it is true?” Vrika asks.
“My proof is the dozen or so children lying on the infirmary beds, beaten back and blue, all of whom claim the same thing,” Faul says with a smirk on his face that seemed to signify his victory.
“Since you offer no explanation or proof to the contrary, I accept the statement of Mr. McGriff to be the truth and suspend….” Faul monologues with a smug face.
“Who says I don’t have proof?” Hari says with a grin on his face.
Hearing that, the smug expression on Faul’s face drops, while Vrika looks at Hari quizzically.
“Can you open your Youtube app,” Hari says, on which Faul hurriedly opens the application, realization meanwhile dawns on Vrika and he smirks at Hari who nods in turn.
“Now search for my channel Parkour Primate.”
As soon as Faul does so he understands what he is about to witness.
“There should be a video of all that happened today,” Hari says with a smile, at which Faul is visibly shaken.
“Yes, I live-streamed everything. In that video is the proof that I and Vrika here acted in self-defence. If you look closely, there seems to be an instance where Evert accused you of bias and collusion with his father. I wonder what would happen if you would suspend or expel us. We would definitely sue you, and that video would serve as great evidence. So Mr. John Faul, what will you do?”
Hearing that Faul closes his mouth becoming deathly silent. The other teachers behind him look at him uncomfortably. Finally, he responds.
“I will look at the video and decide on what to do, based on how the scenario pans out. Until then I place you on leave. Now go home and out of my sight.”
The two start to leave packing their stuff.
On the way to their home, Vrika has a thought and asks.
“Hey, so when did you start recording all that happened?”
“When I came across Evert. Why?”
“Then when did you stop recording?” Vrika asks glaring at Hari accusingly.
“I stopped when the fight was over. So you wouldn’t have to worry about our heart-to-heart being leaked out.” Hari reassures.
Hearing that Vrika visibly relaxes, but still maintains the glaring.
“I don’t understand why you wouldn’t like to loosen your fake cold personality. I wonder why you hate being in my videos, they would go a long way in helping you gain more friends.” Hari says exasperatedly.
“Well, the reason that I abhor being in your videos is that I value my privacy. And my personality isn’t fake, nor is it cold, I just like to lower my guard and be myself around people that I trust. I just remain with my guard up when around those that aren’t someone close to me. So what if I don’t have as many friends as you, I bet not even a tenth of them are as loyal as mine are. Remember Hari, it is better to have 10 real friends than to have a thousand fake ones.”
“Bah whatever, stop nagging. I hear enough of that from Mom.” Shouts Hari annoyed, at which Vrika starts to semi-jokingly choke hold him.
Hari taps out and starts insulting Vrika, who then returns the favour.
They continued bickering until they reached their home, not knowing that their life was going to change the moment they enter it.
