Kevin Ethan Levin was sent to the null void (there was no day, only night and red topography) after his altercation with Benjamin Tennyson commonly known as Ben Ten. The null void is a dimension created by Galvans but commissioned by plumbers to imprison criminals captured by plumbers to serve time and 'reflect' on their mistakes. It was an artificial dimension space that had many giant floating rocks, earth, or land masses that spanned for several kilometers, some were as big as a megacity some were as small as a one-bedroom apartment.
Some guardians patrolled the null void. They were winged creatures that had big jaws which were usually open; they also possessed tentacles for limbs. They had no eyes but had exceptional tracking and hunting senses that made eyes look like an extra accessory. It had a huge head and neck but from the neck down was just tentacles.
Kevin Ethan Levin broke into a forbidden weapons facility that was heavily guarded by those guardians but automated versions and ungracefully made his way to a cyber-locked door. With how Kevin looked, he had all ten of Ben's aliens' DNA stored in the Omnitrix mixed with his DNA in the wrong way. His human appearance was altered by the amalgamation of ten different alien DNA fighting for total dominance or a place in his DNA as the base. Although his appearance may appear unsightly, what Kevin managed to pull off was a great feat unspoken of in his universe. He is the greatest of his kind for achieving such a feat.
This feat was the foolish act of absorbing not only the DNA, genetic information, genetic code, genetic history, and genetic modification of the aliens in Ben's Omnitrix, but a reasonable amount of energy from the Omnitrix. The Omnitrix is said to be a device created by the Galvans, Azmith to be precise. It is a device that can scan and store at most any DNA, genetic code, genetic history, modify collected genetics, and genetic evolution. The energy stored in this great creation would make modern applied biologists or any scientist at all commit ANY act to get their hands on that device. The energy stored in the Omnitrix is said to be enough to destroy their universe.
Kevin didn't absorb all the energy contained in the Omnitrix but he absorbed too much, which led to his lack of control of the entire alien DNA he stored within himself which led to a physical outburst of different alien mutations and traits. This served well for combat and movement but lacked grace and fine-tuning. Kevin didn't exactly like his appearance at all, this was what led him to break into this facility containing high-level tech and forbidden tech.
Kevin stretched his hand and hacked the door easily with the abilities of a Technomorph. The huge doors made of unknown material closed behind him. Inside, were several high-level weapons that would fetch an ungodly amount of space credits. But those things didn't fancy Kevin at all, he was looking for an object that was a forbidden item on the Anodite planet. The object is said to give whoever touches it infinite madness. Still, one of its features was rebirthing the person's soul into any of the infinite universes that existed and information of the desired universe, galaxy, planet, and person, the person wishes to be reborn in or just to be reborn as themselves. The vast amount of information forced inside the user's head is what usually causes madness.
Even if you had a brain as big as a dwarf planet, you would still need infinite energy control to survive the inevitable madness and self-deterioration. The item is also indestructible. Kevin didn't know this of course, but it was already too late. He found a dark blue orb with purple wavy stripes. The object fits the description his master gave.
When Kevin was sent to the null void, he soon met someone who took him in as a son. This person was a foreign unknown creature/alien with a humanoid form who saw a troubled creature walking the plains of his domain in despair and anger. He felt pity for this lost soul and took him in. His name was Jack. He was from a warrior race that was powerful enough to conquer their galaxy and had the strength to venture for universal domination. Since they conquered several planets, they were exposed to different kinds of knowledge and technology which in turn strengthened Jack's people (Oren Empire) in their conquest.
They were an unstoppable force. The DNA aliens couldn't do much at all to hinder their progress, plumbers were just cannon fodder except their top elites. The plumbers joined the Galvans along with the DNA aliens and the Anodites in an alliance to put an end to this threat even the Incursean sovereignty joined in. They would rather die than have anyone else rule their universe; the DNA aliens felt the same and formed a temporary alliance. The matter was so secret that only fifteen people knew about it. The fifteen comprised of the top elites in the plumber force, a few Galvans, some DNA elite lords, and the Incursean royal family with the help of some Anodites.

They all created tech that was destroyed immediately after it was used. This tech essentially created a colossal black hole that erased everything in the galaxy conquered by the Oren Empire. Another tech containing cosmic strings was made to counter the effect of a potential universe destroyer. The machinery then stopped the black hole which created a huge explosion in that quadrant of the universe that started a chain explosion that was well within the expectation of the Galvan who created the device to limit the chain explosion to that quadrant. They all watched this from safe distances of their respective planets that were galaxies away from the event.
Jack was alive because he was captured on an artificial planet that was designed for the sole purpose of capturing powerful aliens like him. He was sent to scout other galaxies and get information but was caught by Azmith and the plumbers. His energy was greatly drained by a device in the planet's core and the plumbers used an unethical method to neutralize before transporting him to the null void. Jack was essentially introduced to a lethal bioengineered gas that was strong enough to kill Vilgax at his peak form two times over immediately. The only thing keeping him alive was his knowledge of energy circulation and life force control. But it only bought him a few months to live.
There was an orb that elevated at the peak of a mountaintop somewhere on the planet of the Anodites. The Anodites were known to have exceptional magical and energy control and manipulation but couldn't touch the orb without dying. Other Anodites would inspect the memory of their fallen comrades to find out that the orb actually gave untold knowledge and secrets but was soon labeled as the philosopher's stone and a forbidden artifact. Even the very act of checking their memory gave great pain that could lead to death due to the Anodites checking.
The orb was soon transported from an uninhabited area of the Anodite's planet using an automated robot that put the orb in a see-through box and boarded an automated ship that was warped directly into the null void. The ship was also warped once again into the forbidden weapons facility in a hidden space that had constant lightning storms and hurricanes that made Hurricane Katrina look many times adorable in comparison. Kevin had to use the Ectonurite traits to be intangible and fly for two hours at sixty miles per hour before he reached the forbidden weapons facility.
Kevin took a deep breath and calmed himself. He was tired of looking hideous. In the null void, there weren't humans there that would give him a look of disgust and fear just because of his appearance, but still, it bothered him greatly. The lengthy stay seemed endless and the death of his master was the last straw for him. He still wanted to live but took on a huge gamble on his existence. He reached for the orb on an illuminated glass shelve. The orb was in a see-through box. He opened the glass shelve and held the box.
He felt the box exude an energy that gave off a warning to drop it and run away. He was about to do just that. But he immediately broke the box with Petrosapien traits.
If he was feeling pressured to run away when the orb was still in that box, he felt paralyzed now. The orb remained elevated and gave out a warm blue glow with a purple highlight. Uncountable whispers and various sounds were emitted from the orb. Kevin was already regretting coming here but could hardly process his thoughts.
He couldn't move. He couldn't move at all. He tried remembering all of his previous encounters and meetings that made him who he is now. He even remembered his master. Nothing happened at all. It was as if the concept of fear was a derivative of this ominous orb that kept releasing whispers and sounds. Kevin wanted to leave that place if he could. He thought that this was the madness that his master spoke of.
Kevin then subconsciously released some of the absorbed energy from the Omnitrix which made the whispers and sounds reduce a little and elevated Kevin from his paralyzed position to the orb. His hands moved on its own as if ordered by the orb and touched the orb. Information was being transferred into Kevin's brain at halved-light speeds. He was overloaded with so much information, that his eyes rolled to the back of his head. If he can't control this he would be bestowed with infinite madness and his soul would slowly deteriorate.
Will Kevin be trapped in a state of infinite madness and have his soul deteriorate or will Kevin find a way out of this…Madness? Find out in the next chapter.
