Lucifer's plan soon came into motion. To get into detail, her plan was to basically improve the situation on the world below. The meteor plan was just one example that failed badly. There were some suggestions of wiping the earth with some sort disaster but Lucifer deemed it to be dumb and a waste of mana.
Luciel was the key part in her plan. Hopefully her presence would do something to invoke changes, no matter how big or small, it was a step forward nonetheless. Only Lucifer believed in that. And because no other plans have worked so far, she had this chance to prove to the other angels, including her peers.
Rome wasn't built in a day after all.
Luciel, dressed in the native outfit of the land, stared at the mirror. It was a simple tunic that covered her body well, along with a long plain skirt with leather shoes. Her silver hair was the only eye-catching part of her body that people would consider taking a second, third look at.
Luciel wanted to bring her favorite katana with her, but it would be rather weird if she was carrying around with her.
"Well, take this with you."
"A pendant?"
"It's something that I..."
After a lengthy explanation, Luciel could only understand that the pendant was a link to a sub-dimensional pocket that allowed her to keep her inventory of items in. All Luciel had to do was to link her mana with her body, meaning contact at all times. She can imagine what she wants to take in the inventory and take the desired object out.
Luciel nodded as her eyes sparkled at the wonders of her mother's invention. She gave it a test run, using her mana as she linked up with the pendant.

"Luciel, I prepared the minimum for you. I don't want you to rely too much on me, okay?"
"Yes, mother..." Luciel smiled and hugged her mother "Thank you for taking care of me for all this time."
"...Of course, what are you saying, child."
Lucifer pulled Luciel hard into her embrace. She has seen hundreds, if not thousands of families by separated. Slavery, famine, murder, all sorts of reasons that numbed her. Yet, only once in her long life has she felt the fear of losing a love one.
Her time with her daughter was short yet so fulfilling.
She only wished that her life to be extinguished before Luciel's, for this pain was unbearable.
Gabriel joined them after Lucifer was done preparing. She gently kissed Luciel on the head, wishing her luck.
"Remember what we have taught you, okay?"
"Yes, father."
"The next time we meet...you will be all grown up."
Gabriel smiled sadly but stared firm at her daughter. Luciel nodded, smiling back.

The head angels gathered at the magic transfer gate. It was a old ancient device that uses mana to transfer one from a location to another. If a mortal was lucky, he or she could chance upon the gate anywhere in the world and will be granted a chance to live as one of them, or so the saying goes.
Luciel stood in the circle. There were other angels that she have never seen before gathered at the area and at the front there was her parents and two other angels that gently smiled at her. A mature looking angel with blonde curls and a angel with flaming red hair. They acknowledged her with a smile, wishing her luck.
Lucifer and Gabriel stood next to them, their gaze was firm.
The story has been taken without consent; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
Luciel closed her eyes as the four head angels sang in harmony.
The lower ranking angels followed acting as the choir.
The circle activated and the girl was gone.
A beautiful song reserved for those worthy of it, it was a shame that she couldn't hear the whole song.
--------------------------------
Luciel materialized as she landed in the woods...of somewhere. The magic circle that teleported her disappeared into mana and will require her to find a gate somewhere in the world. For now, she breathed in the fresh air around her.
"This is..."
The smell of trees and grass, of mother nature that was taught by her parents. It was something that the angels was trying to replicate but failed on every ocassion. Somehow, Luciel knew why. It was almost impossible to create something so delicate, it was different when she was at the park with her mother.
The first thing she was told to do was to check her status after reaching the mortal realm.
"Status."

"Hmm."
Luciel nodded and closed the status window. She began to walk, not knowing what her destination was. For now, all she could do was to walk. The afternoon sun was refreshing as Luciel walked through the woods.
"This world...is so different." Lucifer smiled as she watched the animals appear one by one.
Her angelic presence was strong enough to calm the animals down. She was harmless in their eyes, but even the feral animals dare not touch her. Potential threats like wolves and killer rabbits could only hide when she approached close enough.
"Hmmm...could I turn it off?" Luciel wondered.
It was possible, but no one actually taught her to do so. But with a single thought, it was 'turned' off. The feral animals kept their distance still. Even without it, the animals could tell her strength and power. All her time spent training wasn't for show after all.
------------
Hours passed and Luciel sighed as she walked out into a open space. She was still ways of from the nearest town but she had no way of knowing. At least she could take a break here.
"Signs...of life." Luciel mumbled as she sat down in the middle. "The branches are still warm..."
There were signs of people here before her. Luciel wondered how would they look like. Do they look like her? Or were they elves, beastmen or even demons?
As she almost dozed off in her sitting posture, several screams echoed from within the depths of the forest. Luciel opened her eyes, almost mechanically-like and tilted her head.
"Oh?"
She stood up when a mangled body appeared. A man that was almost on the verge of dying. His face was almost tore apart by wolves.
"Haah!"
Luciel slashed right above the man. The feral wolf that chased him was sliced into half. The man groaned in pain as Luciel approached. He grabbed her hand as Luciel reached out to him.
"...H-Help...m..."
He pointed into the forest. Luciel nodded and smiled at the man. The man gasped as he saw the image of the angel before him.
"...Than...you...ange..."
The man passed away peacefully, as if at ease. Luciel closed the man's eyes, chanting for the man. Then she ran into the forest. Screams and cries of help were louder as Luciel came closer.
"Is it there...?"
"...Hiyahh!"
"Ugh!"
She saw a scene of bloodshed as she arrived on the scene. There was a pack of wolves that surrounded the group. A lone female warrior stood as protection as she protected the group of people behind her. She was tired and her wounds were severe. The group were yelling and crying for helping, serving to fuel the wolves in their attacks.
Luciel frowned and stepped forward.
The wolves immediately stopped in their tracks as Luciel walked towards them. The pack jumped upon her, surrounding the female angel as they realize the danger before them. The female warrior kneel on the ground, panting heavily as she used her wooden shield for support.
She wanted to yell for the girl to run. Why was she even here?!
But...
The wolves jumped. A flash of metal and some were immediately dispatched. Luciel kneel, her crimson eyes gleamed as she sheathed her blade. The female warrior was watching a dance of death as each swing of the girl's blade sliced the wolves with no hesitation. The blood was fresh red on Luciel, staining her dress and her body.
It barely took her any effort to dispatch the wolves.
The remaining wolves that were smart enough ran away. Luciel ignored the looks from the group and smiled as she approached the female warrior and reached her hand out.
"Are you okay?"
