August 20th, Year 7
POV: Fukumoto Kondo
Its break, so the Fukumoto Household hunting tradition is underway. However, this time is different from the rest. Kondo isn't sending off another clone. No, he himself: the original, is departing and leaving a clone to take his place. Why? To safely perform the Sharingan transplant operation. There's nowhere in Konoha he has to himself where he can do it, so he's heading over to Abe Town to use an apartment Ichigo rented as his operation studio.
August 25th, Year 7
POV: Fukumoto Kondo
Kondo is sitting at his desk. Before him is a large jar with a pair of eyeballs floating within; a pair of Sharingan eyeballs. During the Botched Uchiha Massacre, Kondo managed to make away with 5 pairs of Sharingan. He wanted to perform the operation as soon as possible, but kept dragging his feet and distracted himself with Rasengan training. It was a mixture of guilt for taking advantage of a tragedy to benefit himself, and the mild reluctance to remove his own eyeballs.
His insecurities aside, he had some questions to contend with: Blindfold or Goggles?
Blindfold are tried and true; they'll stop the chakra drain, no problem. The issue with them is that he'd have to expose his eyes to use his Sharingan. That's a no-no for him since he'd prefer to conceal the fact he has Sharingan. It would link him to the attempted massacre, and if the Uchiha caught wind of it, they'd chase him to kingdom come.
Heavily tinted goggles would solve this issue, but not the chakra drain problem. Does that mean he'd have to manually shut his eyes all the time? "That'd be a pain, besides; I'd like to see things. [Electromagnetic Sense] is great and all, but good'ol fashion sight has its own appeal."
There's also a question of how much chakra it drains during activation, and if he can replenish it efficiently. "If the drain is equal or less than the chakra Regen [Meditation] provides, I'd be happy. But I doubt that."
Another question is how he'd go about evolving them into Mangekyo. "I'm not killing my family, Tenten, Asa, or anyone I care for. I know the intense emotions needed are not necessarily negative because of Sarada. The question is, how do I go about simulating emotions that strong?" Genjutsu, brain surgery and drugs are options that cross his mind.
"I do know that intense emotions trigger certain hormones in the brain. Is it one particular hormone that triggers the evolution, or a combination of?" After some thought, he decided not to bother about the whole thing.
"If it happens, it'll happen when it happens. I'm going to be pretty broken with everything else, so the Mangekyo won't make or break."
With that settled he was finally ready to perform the operation. So off he went to get the equipment. He'd better get it done now before he finds an excuse to postpone it further.
Minutes pass, and Kondo is laying on an operating table surrounded by his clones. The surgeon clones hit some pressure points that cutoff feeling to the head and used acupuncture needles to maintain it. After verifying he couldn't feel anything, they put him to sleep using a Jutsu, and promptly began the operation.
His right eye was first to go, and was promptly replaced by the right Sharingan, before the area was healed using medical Ninjutsu. After that, the same process was repeated with the left eye.
They then removed the needles, undid the pressure point effects, then wrapped his eyes in bandages before leaving him to sleep.
August 26th, Year 7
Daybreak arrives and Kondo awakes refreshed; his hp Regen healing him completely. Kondo proceeded to remove his bandages and opens his eyes: his eyesight appears unchanged. Confused, he grabs a mirror to observe his eyes, and discovers they are how they normally were. Super confused, he decides to check his Status. After a bit of reading, he could barely contain his glee. He felt like he landed a 360 no scope headshot to clutch a match on CS:GO.
There's a new tab called [Kekkei Genkai] under which is the [Sharingan] skill tree. Without delay, he activates the Dojutsu just like any other skill and his perspective immediately changes.
It was an alien feeling. The best he could describe it as is "unparalleled clarity". It was like his old sight was 240p and the Sharingan was 4k Ultra. He took a look at everything, and watched his clones too. He got so giddy that he wanted to have a clone spar with him to test it out, but then he noticed he was getting low on chakra. "Crap! The chakra drain." Kondo proceeded to activate [Meditation] to see if it would be of any help, but as he predicted, it only slowed the drain.
"Wait, this isn't so bad. In a couple more levels I'll break even. And with the [Chakra Battery], I'll have alot more to play with." After calming down alittle, Kondo gave things a thought. It appears the Sharingan integrated with his body completely and has now become his own.
"I don't have to worry about it being active 24/7, but I'll still have to wear goggles to hide it when he turns it on." He realized that the system basically made him a better version of Shin Uchiha, and doesn't know how to feel about it.
"So all I need is some Hashirama and Madara cells and badabing! Rinnegan." After saying that, Kondo opens his inventory, and pulls out a large glass cylinder. Contained within was Danzo's arm made of Hashirama cells. "How about we have another operation."
That Evening: Electric lights shone on every available surface, leaving no shadows as the scent of antiseptic and burning herbs hung thick in the air. Kondo lay on the operating table at the center of the room, his shirt discarded, revealing his lean frame. On another operating table before him lay Danzõ Shimura's grotesque, chakra-infused arm, preserved carefully since its acquisition. The limb was a disturbing amalgamation of Hashirama's cells.
All the Shadow Clone Surgeons nodded in understanding, already aware of the delicate procedure that was about to take place.
The first clone began preparing the surgical tools--scalpels, clamps, and sutures. The second clone focused on the Hashirama-enhanced arm, cutting into the unnaturally tough flesh to separate the cells, and connective tissue into usable segments. The third clone positioned itself beside Kondo as it performs various acupuncture procedures that will cut off all feeling to his arms throughout the duration of the operation. He's also ready to monitor his vital signs and administer anesthetics and chakra if needed.
The first clone made precise incisions along Kondo's arms, peeling back layers of skin and muscle to expose the underlying tissue. Blood flowed freely, staining the sheets beneath him, but the third clone quickly applied clotting agents and healing salves to control the bleeding.
Meanwhile, the second clone continued dissecting Danzỡs arm. The Hashirama cells pulsed faintly with life, resisting the separation, but with enough chakra-enhanced precision, the clone managed to isolate hundreds of fragments of skin, muscle, and bone.
One by one, the clones began grafting pieces of Danzõ's arm onto Kondo's exposed muscles and bones. They attached fragments of Hashirama's cells to his tendons, weaving them into his own flesh like a patchwork quilt. Each graft visibly sizzled as the foreign cells fought to integrate, their regenerative properties and Kondo's body adapting at an accelerated rate thanks to the System.
The clones infused chakra into the grafted cells, encouraging them to bond with Kondo's body. They also fed him soldier pills so the System's healing would also pitch in. The Hashirama cells began to respond, writhing and expanding as they merged with his own tissue. His arms glowed faintly as the cells activated, their vitality surging through his body. The clones continued their work, meticulously aligning each graft to ensure maximum compatibility.
After hours of grueling labor, the operation was nearly complete. The clones sutured Kondo's wounds with chakra threads, sealing the grafts in place. They applied a thick layer of salve made from medicinal herbs to promote healing and reduce the risk of rejection. Kondo's arms now bore a grotesque yet fascinating appearance, covered in patches of pale, bark-like skin that pulsed faintly with life. Veins of green chakra coursed beneath the surface, a testament to the Hashirama cells' integration. The remaining clones carried Kondo to his bed before they dispeled, leaving Kondo alone in the room where he'd fall asleep and let the System do it's thing.
Hashirama Cells (6%):
- Accelerated healing factor.
- Increased Max Chakra.
- Increased Strength
August 27th, Year 7
Kondo wakes up in the morning and immediate checks on his arms. They are as healthy and pristine as they were before the procedure. The System had perfectly integrated the Hashirama cells into his body turned his grotesque arms normal.
Checking his status, Kondo was pleasantly surprised to find a sizable increase in his Strength, Vitality, and Maximum Chakra numbers. However the real kicker was in the Kekkei Genkai Section.
Kekkei Genkai:
- Sharingan.
- Wood Release. (new).
Kondo began celebrating like a Soccer player who just scored a goal. He had just unlocked the legendary Wood Release of Hashirama and was itching to give it a try.
Fast-forward 15 minutes, Kondo is somewhere in the forests near Abe Town. It's time to see what the Wood Release can do. After releasing his [Chakra Battery], he makes the Snake Seal, which is the only Hand Seal he remembers Hashirama ever using. Then he molds together both his Earth and Water Chakra natures to create the Wood Release which immediately causes plants and flowers to sprout out of his body. Kondo just watches it all play out with a look of awe. After awhile he decides to channel his Wood Chakra to his feet, which makes the plants around him grow at accelerated rates. His next experiment was to channel Wood Chakra to his palm, and will it to create 2x4 wood. Lo and behold, Kondo was successful in creating a 6 foot long piece of 2x4 from his hand.
Kondo was like a kid in a sandbox the way he was playing with his new kekkei genkai all day. He still had no idea how to pull off any of Hashirama Jutsus, as all he could do was create all sorts of plants and wood, as well as grow things faster.

He had at some point stacked Sage Mode on top of it, and the results were several times more potent which was good to know. He'd like to get some training on this, but the only one good for that was Yamato. He just has to figure out how to get Yamato to train him. "How the heck did he learn all the stuff he could do?" Kondo wonders aloud. However he wasn't worried, because this will make him an even more potent farmer.
Before finally heading back, Kondo tried stacking the Sharingan and Sage Mode. "Woah!!! That's wacky! It's worse than Yuha Bach's Almighty! Oh my goodness!" Kondo exclaims as he looks into a mirror.
September, Year 7: Fukumoto Kondo
After training his Rasengan for some time, Kondo decided he was ready to begin adding Nature Transformation. He started off with lightning, and ended up with the Chidori right away. Next, he tried wind, and got windstyle Rasengan. After that was fire, which resulted in a Fire Style Rasengan which was really hot. It was like a Fireball Jutsus in the palm of his hand, which incinerates whatever he hits to ash. When Water was tried, it didn't look impressive at first, however when a target was hit, this Rasengan releases several high pressured jet streams of water in an instant which fired in a conical spread outwards away from Kondo. Theses streams cut though the forest like it was made of butter. The earth style Rasengan was quite something altogether. The friction caused it to turn to magma. It was still earth style and not magma style by the way, and the effects were the same as the fire style Rasengan, but just a lot hotter.
After doing all this, Kondo throws himself into trying the create the Rasenshuriken. To him, it was one of the most lethal pre-war arc Jutsus.
October 15th, Year 8: Konoha
It's a new Semester in the Ninja Academy back at Konoha. The rest of the Konoha 13 enrolled this time.
What stood out, though not surprising, was the influx of Uchiha youth who joined in. A good chunk of them enrolled a year or more earlier than average. It obviously has something to do with the Botched Uchiha Massacre (BUM), and they want to become stronger for their own sakes or for revenge. Even the Hokage had delivered a speech which could be summerized as subtlely telling them to not let their desire for revenge consume them. Danzo would be recruiting like mad right now if he wasn't swimming with the Hozukis.
The Uchiha youths appear to have formed a little social group where they train together all the time, and push each other to their limits. However what's strange is that Sasuke isn't part of them. Kondo wonders if he's being ostracized because his brother Itachi was part of the BUM. "He'll manage. He's got both his parents this time, plus I'm sure Fugaku is teaching him everything he knows."
Either way, he and the rest of the Uchiha kids are exuding serious Brooding Emo Energy. They're like a flock of OG Part 1 Sasukes. Kondo wonders how this would change things for the future.
Speaking of future, Kondo took into consideration the next few years and realized its pretty uneventful. Yeah, the Blood Mist should be taking place soon, or already started, plus some Akatsuki shinanigans, but nothing noteworthy happens from now till Naruto graduates. "Well, I'm graduating a couple years before he does, so I'm sure interesting stuff will happen with me and my team. Just have to carry on with my current routine till then."
November, Year 8: New Uzushiogakure
Kondo's experiments with Wood Release continue. He has an idea to make an insane amount of money with it, but he has to perform some tests first to verify if it's doable. Said test involved a bean seed he holds on his hand. He channels Wood Release into it and wills it to grow. In a matter of seconds it goes from seed to mature plant that produces an insane amount of pods which was enough to fill a large basket to the brim. Kondo was capable of controlling the quantity of pods as well as the ripeness. It was a success, and he continued the test with different plants with equal success.
The next stage of his experiment involves first using earth style to create a raised bed, before poking a dozen bean seeds into the ground. Next he channels wood style into the ground, and wills for only the bean to grow. To Kondo's pleasant surprise, the beans grew with a fraction of the chakra compared to when he grew it directly from his body. He theorized that the soil played a role in that regard. In the end, he was able to grow the entire bed of beens from seed to mature in seconds and produce a similar amount of pod output per seed using a fraction of chakra per seed compared to the last time.
Kondo repeats the experiment with Sage Mode, and not only does bean plant and pod grow more healthy and vibrant, they also radiated lifeforce and nature energy. He would hand these over to Kaede to study. Then he repeated the experiment with different plants to the same outcome.
With his experiment results yielding great promise, Kondo decides to take the plunge and purchase a very expensive fruit from an auction in the 10th district of the Land of Hot Water: Taiyo no Tamago Mangoes. These mangoes are renowned for their vibrant red skin, perfect shape, and intense sweetness. Obviously they are very difficult to grow, and as a result are the 3rd most expensive fruit in the Elemental Nations. A pair was auctioned off at cost worth 4 times a minimum wage earner's monthly income. Kondo's pockets pinched a little, but he wasn't bothered because of his confidence he had an infinite money hack.
After eating the fruits and saving the seeds, he repeated the procedure, and unsurprisingly, it worked like a charm. It cost him a whole lot more chakra because he was growing trees, so to counter this, he made the trees dwarf before stopping. Then he borrows chakra from Karin using the [Chakra Absorbing Seal] which gives him enough juice to grow as much fruit as the midget trees could handle. After he finished, he had a bunch of workers carefully harvest and package the mangoes for him to seal in a storage scroll.
With regards to the Nature Energy infused beans Kondo handed to Kaede, it turns out they have very potent healing and curative proterties when consumed. Wounds would close, scars become fainter, and various mild illnesses would be cured, all within seconds to hours depending on the severity. It however can't regenerate lost limbs, and Kaede is still experimenting to see the limits with regards to which illnesses it can and can't cure. "Woah! I wasn't planning on creating Senzu beans, but here I am. These babies could make medical ninjas irrelevant on the field. Too bad it loses its effect after you cook it, but that's not a big deal, I'll just use a tastier fruit next time." Kondo wasn't going to sell these. Rumors of Miracle Fruits will get the big Shinobi villages snooping around, and Kondo didn't want that. However he was planning to bring them out during the War Arc to help out, add contribution points, and use as leverage to have his village recognized. "Hashirama should be able to do this. How come there was nothing about it mentioned on the show. Could it be that he never thought to make fruits, and only used it to fight? I'll ask him when I get the chance."
POV: Takuma Village
The latest order of flame weapons have been delivered. Kujaku and Hoki collaborated to put them together. Kondo has also been recommended to another artisan named Setsuna who could make weapons with blades that turn into serpentine creatures made of chakra. Initially Kondo was hesitant to do business with her because she was sickly and had frequent coughing fits, but she assured him that her son: Ryugan, was just as skilled as she was and would be the one to handle the order by himself despite his age. Her role would primarily be quality assurance. With her case made, Kondo agrees to the deal. Besides, he does have a way to deal with her illness. "A fruit basket is in order when the weapons are ready."
POV: Land of Hot Water
The Auctioneer in charge of the Ciel Gang's Auction House is staring at the dozen large baskets filled to the brim with fruit that Kondo unsealed from his storage scroll. The Autioneer knew what fruit they were. He had never seen so much in one place. One could buy a mansion after auctioning all this off.
"I know you all don't ask questions, but I can see you dying of curiousity. What I can tell you for sure is that they weren't stolen or anything like that. Well, not that it matters, but it's best I put it on the record. I'll leave the rest to you. Use your discretion to ensure we both profit to the fullest extent, OK?"
POV: Kenji Touma
The air was thick and oppressive as Touma approached the edge of the Valley of Hell, its infamous reputation sending chills down his spine despite the blazing heat emanating from the surrounding terrain. He had bought information about its location from the Ciel Gang back in district 10. The valley stretched out before him like a wound carved into the earth, its walls jagged and dark, seeping a faint red hue as if still bleeding from some ancient battle.
His steps were slow and deliberate, each footfall kicking up clouds of red dust that clung to his clothing. The rocky path beneath his boots was uneven and treacherous, and he could feel the heat of the earth radiating through the soles, threatening to blister his feet if he lingered too long. Overhead, the sun hung like a cruel eye, unblinking and relentless, yet the shadows of the valley seemed to resist its light, casting strange, shifting patterns along the walls.
The Chinoike clan. A clan cursed, their bloodline feared for the power of their Ketsuryūgan, the blood-red eyes capable of bending the will of others through illusion and manipulating iron. He remembers their massacre and banishment to this accursed land from the show. The ruins of their village lies deep within this valley, among the sulfuric mists and blood-tainted rivers.
Touma's fingers brush against the brittle edges of the map he carried—purchased from the Ciel Gang. The map was incomplete, torn and faded, but it marked the approximate location of the ruins, and would save him the hassle of having to explore everywhere else of this massive place before finding his destination. He glanced at it briefly before tucking it back into his inventory, his [Electromagnetic Sense] scanning the jagged terrain all around.
As he descended further into the valley, the air grew heavier, stifling and acrid. The unmistakable stench of sulfur clawed at his nostrils, and the faint hiss of steaming vents echoed through the canyon. Pools of viscous, blood-like liquid dotted the landscape, their surfaces bubbling ominously. Touma avoided them because he wasn't retarded.
Further ahead, the path narrowed, forcing him to squeeze through a crevice where the walls pressed against him like a vice until he eventually emerges into a clearing. Here, the ground was littered with broken stones, shattered pottery, and the remnants of crude wooden structures.
He crouched, brushing away the dust from a fragment of stone that bore an engraving—a spiral pattern flanked by what appeared to be teardrop shapes. He didn't know what it was for sure, but he was going to bet it's the symbol of the Chinoike clan. "Who else could it be? He was close.
Brimming with confidence, he pushed forward, his path leading to a larger structure that loomed ahead. Half-buried in the earth, its facade was cracked and worn, but the architecture bore the mark of the Chinoike clan. The door was ajar, its wood splintered and darkened by time. Touma walks through it.
The valley was eerily silent as Touma stood in the heart of the ruins, his shadow long and distorted under the blood-red glow of the mineral-lit walls. The remnants of the Chinoike clan’s village lay sprawled around him—crumbling stone houses, broken pottery, and scattered remnants of a once-thriving community. The air was heavy with the faint, metallic tang of iron, a lingering echo of the blood-soaked history that had cursed this place.
Touma began his search, his every movement purposeful. The first building he entered was a half-collapsed home. The wooden beams had long since rotted away, leaving jagged remnants jutting out at odd angles. He sifted through the debris, brushing away layers of dust and ash to reveal small, personal artifacts—carved wooden combs, an intricately designed cup, and a fragment of a mirror. Each item went into his Inventory to be sorted through later.
Next, he moved to a larger structure that appeared to have been a meeting hall. The roof had caved in, but the walls still bore faint carvings of spirals and flowing patterns, symbolic of the Ketsuryūgan’s power. On a stone pedestal at the center of the hall, he found a tattered scroll. Carefully unfurling it, he discovered diagrams and notes on bloodline techniques—rudimentary instructions for manipulating iron in blood and casting genjutsu. His heart quickened as he tossed it into the Inventory as well, knowing this knowledge was invaluable.
As he explored further, his discoveries became darker. In what appeared to be a shrine, he found skeletal remains scattered across the floor. The bones were dry and brittle, their positions suggesting they had been left where they fell, undisturbed for decades. Among them was a small skeleton, likely a child, curled up near what seemed to have been an adult—a final, futile act of protection. The sight gave him pause, but only briefly. He was here for a purpose.
Unrolling a blank storage scroll, he placed it on the ground and began the delicate process of sealing the remains. Carefully gathering each skeleton piece by piece. Male, female, child—all were preserved. His plan was to have them cloned using Orochimaru’s cloning techniques, and have his own Uchiha-like clan. He could have done the same for the Uzumaki Clan, but zero bodies where found. Plus he figured Kaede would give him hell if he did.
“Someday,” he muttered under his breath, his voice echoing faintly in the chamber. “Someday, you’ll walk this earth again. By my side. As my clan.”
In another building, he found a locked chest hidden beneath the rubble. Breaking the rusted lock, he uncovered more scrolls, including a clan ledger detailing family names and alliances. This too was sealed away. The Chinoike clan’s history would not be forgotten.
By the time he finished, the ruins were shrouded in the crimson haze of twilight. He stood at the center of the village, his storage scrolls and Inventory brimming with relics, knowledge, and skeletal remains. The Valley of Hell was quiet, save for the faint hiss of sulfuric vents in the distance.
Touma looked back at the ruins one last time, his expression unreadable. He had taken what he needed, but the weight of his actions lingered in the oppressive air. This place, a graveyard of an extinct clan, now held the seeds of its potential rebirth.
Placing the remaining scrolls in his Inventory. He makes a Hand Seal which remotely opens a storage scroll in the apartment back in district 10 where the rest of Team Touma are, which releases a clone. He dispels himself so as to save himself the hassle of climbing back out. The Chinoike clan’s story was far from over, and he intended to be the one to write its next chapter.
