Dear readers,

Providence would have it that a most peculiar series of documents has come into my possession from an anonymous sender. They detail the exploits of one Ziel Adara, whose strange name lends itself to his strange profession. Mr. Adara claims to be in league with supernatural powers. What’s more, he claims to be using these powers to protect the innocent from malevolent forces of evil. A kind of spiritual policeman, if you will. And that is only the start of it, but I won’t give away much more here.

The records I now have on hand chronicle a few of these adventures, which take him to many varied locales and pit him against all sorts of dangers.

Being that I have no knowledge of the source of these documents, I cannot vouch for their authenticity. I can, however, say that they are marvelously fantastical, and I am certain that the readers of this magazine would agree.
